If you are looking for respectful, understanding, professional sales Advisor go reach out to TJ Boyd. He went above and beyond to get all that my husband wanted on his 2023 Ram Laramie but more importantly the best deal within our budget. We are so happy we came to this dealership and would come back again.

Decided I wanted to trade my vehicle in, so I went to a small dealership in Alvin. They showed me two cars. And they were offering little to nothing for my vehicle. The next day I reach out to Big Star Dodge to see what they could do Cj got right to work finding the best deal. I sent him the vehicle I wanted to look at when I pulled up it was already waiting up front. I got there around 2:30 and by 3:30 I was driving off the lot in my new car. I dreaded going to a dealership because I remember taking forever!! But this whole transaction from start to finish was fast and painless! Highly recommend!

My wife and I went through a long process of leasing a new Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe that started on February 23. After weeks on negotiating (because they did not know how to apply nationally advertised lease rebates)we reached a mutually acceptable deal. Saturday March 9 we signed a purchase agreement. We were informed the vehicle had a minor recall that needed to be resolved. We were told we could pick the vehicle up in 2 days on Monday. Monday we were notified the vehicle had a stop sale order due to the recall not having a resolution. March 30 we were notified the vehicle recall has been cleared and the vehicle was available for pick up. Today April 4 we are being told the deal we signed is no longer available because the incentives changed and the lease payment increased over $100. They refused to honor the deal we had already signed. This experience has been one entire waste of time with no one at the dealership taking ownership of the problem. The dealership blames Chrysler. Either way we should not be penalized for it. Unless you have endless time to waste do not attempt to business here. The worst car buying experience. Unprofessional and they lack the basic knowledge of sales.

In my world when you make an appointment it means that the service department will be looking at your vehicle that day, not in 4 or 5 days. Big Star checked in my Jeep and told me that they would get to it hopefully in 4 to 5 days and look into the engine light. I asked if I could bring it back in 4 days and they said it would loose it's place in line. The Jeep was drive able. So, I could have easily brought it back. Nope. Park it and rough it. This is making me regret buying a Jeep if it can't get timely maintenance even under warranty.Update: The service manager reached out and quickly took care of the problem. She is definitely top notch and she is the only reason I would go back. I have faith she will see that my Jeep is taken care of in a timely manner. She understands that it's important to take care of the customer, unlike my original service advisor.

UPDATE II: Talked to the manager in person since my mom kept getting sent to voicemail. The manager said the bank would send her the difference and my mom said how would they know how much to send?!? The manager said we re only talking about $120 right now We both told him it s the principle of the entire situation. So he took the bank statement, did some math and said he would cut her a check Brought her a paper and said a check with the difference would be overnighted to her. So, hopefully this is the last time we have to deal with this dealership and it s done.UPDATE: They bought my dad s truck back and didn t pay it off for over 2 weeks after they had it in their possession and the paperwork was signed. Now they expect my mom to pay the interest on the truck payment for another month after being told by Big Star she wouldn t be responsible for paying it. AND I sent an email to the email address below with the situation and guess what NO REPLY!!! Still having issues and the truck was sold to them on 2/15/24.My elderly dad purchased a brand new truck in November from this dealership. He passed away in January. Once my husband looked over the paperwork he figured out that my dad was taken advantage of at this dealership. When my husband took the truck back to get a quote he asked the manager (who was said to be rude) about this situation and the manager told him my dad did not ask for discounts so none were given. He also told my husband they are there to make money. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. If you can't be a decent human because you are so worried about making money there is something VERY wrong with you. In fact, I personally will NEVER buy a Dodge truck because if this kind of dealerships they have I want no part of it!

On December 26, 2023 I went in for an oil change. My vehicle Jeep Gladiator has less than 4K miles on it. I received a text saying that I needed a brake flush and a throttle body cleaning. I went to the serviced desk and asked where in the manual it says those two services had to be completed on a vehicle with less than 4K miles on it. They service advisor and the man standing next to him says its based on geographic location. I was also told I needed a in-cabin filter. I approved the in-cabin filter not the other two services. In less than 10 minutes I received a text saying the vehicle was complete. When I got the invoice ticket I said where is the charge for the in-cabin filter. The service advisor said it did not need it. Really? 10 minutes ago it did. He just looked at me.I made an appointment with another place to have them do a moisture test on the brakes just in case the Jeep did need the brake flush service. I want to maintain my vehicle properly. The Tech took me and showed me that there was no way anyone did a moisture test. The screen was still on the bottle/brake fluke receptacle. He said it did not need a brake flush. I do not like dishonest dealerships. I would do all my work at a dealership if I felt they were honest. Dealerships have a bad reputation. Is it the dealership or a bad service advisor, in this case Adrian?

I ordered and bought my Demon 170 from them. My salesman Jerrid and the GSM Kenny went way above and beyond for me. I can t imagine getting taken care of any better than they did in every possible way. I truly appreciate them and the beyond exceptional customer service I received. I have bought a lot of cars in my day but it s a rare thing to feel completely satisfied at the end of the deal and I really appreciate them making this a great experience for me.I would recommend them to my best friend without hesitation!

Below is my account of how my situation was handled by the service-department representative at Big Star Dodge. I have been reluctant to write a review, but a friend of mine had a similar experience about two weeks later. If my experience represents standard practice, shame on them. Having purchased two RAM trucks from them I have been a fan until this occurrence, but am uncertain if I will shop there again....On Monday, Dec. 11, 2023 I had my RAM 1500 towed to Big Star Dodge for not shifting and showing indications that the stability control and towing needed to be serviced. I was informed later that morning that it would be 4 to 5 days before they would be able to run a diagnostic. On Friday, Dec. 15 2023 I was contacted by my case manager(?) that they were unable to perform a diagnostic on my truck due to a "bad battery." I was informed that it would cost $585 to replace the battery and $180 for the service department to swap out with a new battery if I brought one to them. After telling the employee that I would change the battery myself, she then said, "Well you'll then have to pay the $190 for the diagnostic service...so you will be paying either way." I told her just to wait until I could make it to the dealership.I arrived and my truck was driven to the parking lot (I guess they jumped it) in order for me to change my battery (it took me 12 minutes from the time I popped my hood until I closed it, and they charge $180 for this service??!!!). I went inside to retrieve my key to check the codes, but was abruptly told by the case manager, "You can't take your truck." I said, "Yes, I can." We went back and forth a bit with her telling me that I was going to have to pay for the diagnostic service that had not been performed before I ended the conversation and said I needed to speak to a manager. After she spoke with her manager (I did not) she handed me my key.

February 2, 2024, I took my van for a simple inspection. Upon the return of my van the two plastic sides holding up the cushion of the chair is broken! The side closest to the driver door has a broken piece and will not snap on. The other side is still loose after being able to snap it on which it wasn t before. One of the personnel took photos and I did right after him for my proof. He mentioned he would let the manager know and I have yet to hear back from anyone. I even emailed and still no response. This dealership needs to take responsibility for their actions and the other employees need to be more careful. How do I go from a simple inspection to a broken chair.Ryan Davis, I did send you an email.

If you call and Savannah answers, hang up and call again. It seems from the reviews and my recent experience she will say yes to anything. I requested a price and gave my run down. Was told it was doable and I should come in. My foresight told me better so after finishing my loan application I called to confirm if all was in order I was then rejected. She said Our corporate office is no longer allowing us to buy vehicles from auctions so we are in need of vehicles, we will make you the deal if you trade in yours. This lead me to believe that they would accept my offer. They turned me down. Someone needs to talk to this woman and explain to her being a yes person isn t good customer service or sales practice if you don t stick to your word.FYI: if they tell you OTD on a price be expected to get fooled once financing department gets you. That s what they did with my current Charger.

Kevin(sales), Kenny(GM)and Timmy(finance)were incredible. I went there just for a test drive, very spur of the moment so I was very particular and put a lot of thoughts into everything and they were so patient with me. I got a great deal and beautiful new ride! Biggest thanks to Kevin!

Highly recommend you stay away from this dealership and the salesman Dennis specifically. They will sell you a vehicle with missing pieces and then tell you to bad so sad when you didn t realize the license plate light kit was missing. Never again! Would give zero stars if I could! Its not about the light, It s the principal for me after calling to make it right and was told it was bought as is.

The absolute worst service department! We had an appointment for services previously discussed. We were told it would take a few hours. After several unanswered calls and texts with our service advisor we called the service department only to find out that after 5 hours the car hadn t even been touched. At that time we told them we would come get the car and to not touch it. When we arrived they had suddenly tried to start work on the car. They lied to us multiple times and were full of excuses. The service advisor and manager couldn t even get their stories on the same page. Save yourself the trouble and just go elsewhere.

Update: finally heard back ONLY after submitting a BBB complaint. To date the GM nor any other complained to rep contacted me. Now only after BBB complaint, the Service Manager called me, said she actually reviewed video in service area and the service team did NOT do the service i complained about. She apologized to me for the issue. Had discussion but she still felt negative reviews are "to be taken lightly" because not enough happy people post reviews and they keep their "regular customers happy".....mind you this was my second vehicle bought there. My issues are with horrible service center and their crooked practices. Both times with saledept. I had good dealings, ill admit that. So you'll get a good sale and deal but horrible service. Read reviews and do your homework if you need service.Initial Review: Went in for regular prepaid maintenance service package (oil change, fluids, rotate tires and all). Get a text asking me to get a back wheel alignment due to wear and also a throttle body clean. Said no because I'm having no issues, no wear seen and no issues at my mileage relating to throttle body issues. Finished and left. Got back to work and was looking at tires. Found a tire plug in my tire that I knew was there from a nail 2 weeks ago. But, tire was in the same spot and had not been rotated as was scheduled and on receipt it was completed. Complained, tried speaking with GM (not first issue with this service dept). Even came back with hand delivered complaint letter. Waited another hour and no one would come speak to me. No calls, emails, texts or contact back at all. Paid for services yet can't even rotate the tires? Why lie about that? See other reviews about trying to up sale "recommended services" that aren't due, on maintenance plan or even needed". Why is this service department like this? And why no management contact back at all? They will sell them quick but when it comes to service, warranty work....be prepared to wait and get screwed over or lied to. Once you're sold and out the door seems service and maintenance does not matter to them. That's part of dealership customer service guys. Sad.And Ryan Davis, the letter was taken to you by your front desk employee as well I spoke to several employees today while waiting an hour then another hour without you or anyone bothering to come speak to me. Emails and texts were sent as well and online. Your sales person forwarded my email ticket to you.

I would give no stars if it let me, I have bought 4 vehicles from here before they became Big Star and have had no issues. Now the service department is terrible. I got a notice of a recall on my gladiator rear axle and called to set an appointment. the service department sent me to someone else who does the recalls. that person said just bring it in, so I did on Tuesday morning. the service person Rolando took my vehicle and said it would be a couple hours and got me a ride home. I called that evening and they had not even looked at it. called this Mouring and was told tech. was looking at it now by a different service person. just call again at 4pm and was just told tech. has not looked at it but is about to pull it in to do so. again, Rolando is still with another customer, so I did not talk to him. so, they have lied to me at least twice so far. they still have my Jeep and continue to lie to me. I will not be buying another vehicle from this dealer because of this service. Do not buy from this dealership, the salespeople are great, however. once they sale you the car it is apparent, they no longer care about good customer service.

This company SUCKS. We left our Jeep for heater and AC repair. Why on Saturday we tried the AC, and it's same it when we took it there service. You kept vehicle for 2months without a LOAN to say the least. We will be reaching out to the BBB asap.

Very professional. I saw a Ram Laramie on their website and hit the check availability tab and they called. We made an appointment for that evening and they had it ready to go. Elvis guided us through the test drive and negotiations and he was great. Zachary over in finance, who is just learning to fish, was great as well.

If I were to leave this review the day we got the Jeep, I would have given it no less than 4 stars. Now, it s been over a week, and I cannot get anyone to call me back regarding a question I have about a check they owe us. Zach in finance always seems to have the day off. So does the finance supervisor. Convenient. I have reached out to our sales person, Jasmine. She was actually really great throughout the entire process, and she really worked hard to make sure we were happy. But I have reached out to her for an answer and got a very generic, vague response. I was told by the receptionist that no other finance person can discuss anything with us for privacy reasons , so we re just out over $8,000 with no one who will help us. We ll see what steps need to be taken come Monday

2nd time that this has happened to me at this service department. Paid for oil change and tire rotation.1. First time did not rotated my tires. And they told me they did. Had marked one of my rims and it was in the same side before taking it to the service department. Did not notice until I got home. Called to complain about my tires not rotated. And was told it was.2. 2nd time for service oil change and tire rotation. This time I mark my tires 1-2-3 4 . Left my vehicle for service . Received a texted that my vehicle ready. Went to pick up and noticed my tires were not rotated. Brought it to my service person attention and to make sure a manager is aware what is going on with this ongoing problem. He talked to the manager and his manager told him to make sure to tell the maintenance manager where the problem occurred. Waited 20 minutes for the tires get rotated.Bad management for not getting involved.A paying customer that was not satisfied with your service. Clean up your house !!

Why isn't zero stars available. Wishing that I would have read the service reviews prior to taking my Jeep to them. I went in for a oil change/tire rotation and asked if they could check to see if there was a leak anywhere and was told that there "lube tech" could not perform a task like that and I would need to leave my vehicle for at least 4-5 days. Seriously, how long does it take to look at a vehicle that is up on the lift already? But moving on I stated that I did not want the my vehicle washed, the service writer acknowledge me by say that it was probably going to rain anyways. Fast forward, after a little while I get up and walk back to the service department to check on the vehicle, to which I am informed that my vehicle is getting washed. I asked Paul I thought I said that I didn't want it washed. He said that he sun had come out and had decided to go ahead and wash it. AFTER I SAID I DID NOT WANT IT DONE! I then waited outside watching them clean one of the floor mats, This guy is spraying something on one from a spray bottle containing blue liquid, then I notice they are putting tire shine on my tires ( I hate tire shine) I said that is one of the reasons that I didn't want it washed, because that would sling everywhere and cause a big mess. Paul proceeded to tell me that they make their own stuff and that would not happen. IT HAPPENED. Once I got in my Jeep I found that a/c had been adjusted from my settings along with being cranked full blast, my radio station had been changed, and the drivers side floor mat was super slick, I went in to get Paul and showed him the floor mat and how slippery it was. He proceeded to tell me that they do not spray anything on the floor mats, so he is not sure why it is so slick, basically calling me a liar. Once I get home my husband checks the torque on all the lug nuts and find that none of them have been torqued to manufacture specs, all of them were lose to that standard. Needless to say this was not a great experience. It was not even a remotely good experience. A service writer that does not take into consideration what the customer wants is a liability to a dealership.

I do not recommend this dealership as they failed in sales, financing, preparation of the vehicle, and with customer service and follow-up. While negotiating the purchase, the sales representative failed to mention that RAM offers a $500 cash back option for military members and veterans, despite my mentioning that I am a retired Marine and that I run a nonprofit that serves veterans. I discovered this information from another dealership. The financing department made multiple mistakes regarding my applications, including failing to include an additional $40,000 of annual income from rental properties in my first application, which resulted in THAT application being denied due to high debt to income ratio despite having excellent credit, which has subsequently reflected negatively on my credit rating. They then did not immediately inform me of this issue. The second application to a different bank was held up due to errors in and omissions in the application, and as a result five weeks passed without financing being sorted out. Throughout this process the staff was not proactive with updates and did not return calls. When the issue with the financing first arose, the gentleman in the finance department informed me of the initial issue, stated that he would apply to a different lender, and that the loan would be funded within two days. I then heard nothing. When the two days expired, I called him and multiple times without a response. I then called the sales representative and left a message which was not returned. I called the receptionist and asked for a sales manager, was directed to voicemail, and left a message which was not returned. I called again, was directed to the voicemail of a DIFFERENT dales manager, which was also not returned. I eventually had to drive to the dealership to interact with a staff member who could address the issue. The matter lingered for several weeks, and I was eventually called in again to sign more paperwork. When I arrived and informed the same receptionist that I was there to sign paperwork but short on time, she stuck me in a waiting area and left me there without directing me to the correct office. She treated every request like an invitation to her own funeral. In all, it took over five weeks for the loan to be funded, and after six weeks and 3,000 miles, I still do not have registration for this vehicle. Finally, the vehicle was not properly prepared by the staff when it was delivered. The washer fluid ran out in the first three weeks as it was not filled completely before I left the dealership. Also, each tire was filled to a different incorrect tire pressure, which has caused the low tire pressure warning to go off and which will not go away, even though I have corrected the issue. These are small issues, but one expects more when buying a band new vehicle, which one would expect to be able to drive without issue for quite some time. Every time I turn on the truck and see the warning indicators, it sours whatever positive feeling I might have had regarding this purchase. I will not recommend this dealership to anyone.

I had a fantastic experience as a first time car buyer at Big Star Dodge. I looked online at availability for the car I wanted, got an appointment scheduled for that day to come in and see/drive the car. Within an hour of arrival the very knowledgable and kind sales person, Kevin, was able to get me the assistance I needed to buy the car I ve been waiting to have. I m currently waiting to complete the finance process which I m sure will be just as smooth of an experience. I m happy I found Big Star Dodge, ask for Kevin!

Went to purchase a 2023 Dodge Ram. Communicated by phone to multiple different people. The first person to provide a price was Denise in internet sales, when asked if there were any dealer add ons or extra fees i was assured there was not. However when i arrived and met with Dennis there was an extra $4,900 in dealer add ons and packages that i had told them i was not interested in but in person i could not take off. Overall i would not recommend anyone do business here if they do not want to be jerked around and lied to.

DONT SHOP HERE READ THE REVIEWS, OWNER DONT CARE ABOUT NONE OF THEM HIS RESPONSES SAY IT ALL!! Their service department is trash. They worked on one of my employees ram 1500 and immediately after he left their shop has the exact same problem pop up with his shifter that he just paid $1500 to fix. Speedy service is worthless if you don't fix the problem absolutely do not service your vehicle here. Just so the dealership knows thus was on Miami Simpsons vehicle so don't deny it. Only way this review comes down is if you uphold your end and fix the protect has already been paid for

My interaction with Elvis, the salesman, was nothing short of impressive, even though I ultimately didn t make a purchase. From the moment I walked into the dealership, Elvis s warm and welcoming demeanor put me at ease.Elvis was attentive and genuinely interested in helping me find the right car, despite my uncertainty at the time. He took the time to understand my needs and preferences, patiently answering my questions and providing valuable information about the available options. What truly stood out was Elvis s professionalism and his commitment to customer service. He never made me feel pressured to make a decision or rushed in any way, which is a rare quality in the world of sales.Throughout our conversation, it was clear that Elvis was passionate about cars and deeply knowledgeable about the models on the lot. He shared insights, pointed out key features, and allowed me to explore the vehicles at my own pace, fostering a sense of trust and confidence.Despite not making a purchase that day, Elvis left a lasting impression on me. His dedication to helping customers find the right fit, combined with his friendly and approachable manner, sets him apart as a remarkable salesman. Should I decide to buy a car in the future, I would certainly return to the Big Star dealership and seek out Elvis s assistance. His commitment to customer satisfaction deserves recognition, even in the absence of a sale.
