We picked up a donated car for God's Garage. They were very helpful, providing a place in their waiting room out of the driving rain. Our donor thanked them for their diagnosis of the car and said he would be bringing in his truck for some work later. I assume that he is very satisfied with Ash Auto. It is a bit cluttered in the lift area, but they seem to do good repair work.

Excellent service Mr. Ash went above and beyond and even found out my vehicle had a catalytic converter recall. We ve been coming to get all our mechanic needs for over a decade and he is still the best.

I had an ignition coil issue.I went Ash Automotive with one of my friend's referral.The owner was extremely rude and arrogant.I had no chance to look for an other mechanic due to my limited time...I paid the bill and got my car in 15 minutes.After a couple of days later the same issue came again.I went to an other trustable mechanic and they replaced 6 of ignition coils at the same amount of money which I have paid for only one ignition coil amount to the Ash automotive.Even I have no chance I would never go to Ash Automotive again.Never and Ever !Dear Ash Automotive Representative, I have shared my dissatisfaction with the service I received from you. THE most reasonable and reliable mechanic I have ever used before. My Acura MDX has been taken in only a couple of times for what seemed to be a major issue only to have Ash reveal minor concerns that he resolves very quickly. As a busy Mom, it s fantastic to have a mechanic I can trust to fix my car without worrying about being swindled.

I had my car towed to Ash Automotive on Dec 4, thinking it was a starter. Ended up being the battery. Someone put the wrong size battery in before! My car actually runs better with the correct size battery now!Early this year, at a different shop, I had a cooling fan replaced and continued to smell radiator fluid. I asked Ash to check it out. They found a crack in my radiator. Guess I'll make Ash Automotive my go to place from now on!

Our 2014 mustang GT conked out unexpectedly on HW3, and we coasted into the adjacent parking lot. It was as if the battery went dead, but I had never heard of that happening while driving down the road. We walked to Ash automotive to see what our options were. It was a busy Saturday and I figured that they wouldn't be interested in helping us. I was so wrong! The guy brought a charger and his diagnostic equipment over and got the engine going enough to amble it over to the shop. He stopped everything he was doing to efficiently diagnose the problem, determine that it was indeed the battery, ordered a new one for rapid delivery, and we were back on the road in no time for an entirely reasonable price. This guy could not have been more professional and trustworthy. It is good to know that a place like this exists -- I would trust them with any of my vehicles.

I don't recommend this place. Owner with an unwelcoming attitude, Verbally Quoted $250 for replacing Spark plugs in 2009 Toyota camry which is much more than midas, and Jiffy lube.

Highly recommend Ash Automotive. I took my 2009 F-150 to a different mechanic to have the motor replaced and it sat in their parking lot for over a month because they were too busy and backed up . After countless days up checking up on the truck just to be told they haven t even started yet my buddies recommended that I call Ash to see if he would be able to do this motor swap. so I called ash automotive to see if they could do the job and he assured me he could have it done in a week. I had the truck towed to his shop and sure enough the following week the truck was finished with a fresh motor and was back on the road. They even noticed missing bolts here and there and threw some in and tightened stuff down for me. They do great work. I ve always been the kind of guy that does his own repairs but a motor swap was out of my comfort zone and I ve always been sketched out by mechanics but these guys knocked it out of the park and restored my faith in mechanics. No upselling, and no bs. Did exactly what I wanted them to do. Will definitely be bringing my cars here for any big jobs I don t have time to do myself.

When waiting for an oil change over a year ago, a conversation developed between the people waiting on their cars about good places to get your car repaired. One man, who seemed to know a lot about cars, said that Ash Automotive on Hwy. 3 was really good. Recently, I needed an inside door handle replaced on one car, and an outside door handle replaced on another car, (Hyundai's door handles do NOT last). So, I called local Friendswood Repair Shops, Dealership, etc. Ash was the lowest price and I went with them. SO HAPPY that I did. Left the first car in the evening, they called the next morning, it was ready! The second car had to have the paint color matched and painted, was done perfectly. They are a very busy shop, but so polite and helpful. Answered all my questions. They are my new GO TO for any car repairs!!! I have taken my truck to Ash Automotive three times in the last 3 years. The first two times were how I knew they were a trustworthy company. I took my truck there and told them what the problem was. Rather than having me bring it in so they could look at it, they told me to try a few things first. The fact that Ash was trying to save me money rather than get me in the garage was a true Testament to customer service. I just picked it up, again to get my alternator changed and when I asked them if there were any other problems they told me no. I fully trust that they, at least, gave it a close enough inspection to see if there were any other issues that would require attention. I will go out of my way to be a customer at Ash Automotive because I believe they're extremely trustworthy and they do good work

Set up an appointment for a diagnostic on my vehicle. When I got there he claimed they couldn't do it because his OBD monitor couldn't read back to a 1998 vehicle. My son who is a diesel mechanic said the 1st and 2nd model OBD monitor would read my vehicle. They seemed like they didn't want to mess with my vehicle. My son looked at my vehicle and diagnosed my car without the use of an OBD monitor. It was a simple diagnosis and they could have easily figured it out. I do not recommend going there,they have tons of vehicles there that apparently aren't being worked on. They have very few mechanics there so I don't think they have the time or staff to complete manpower hours to complete any job. I would recommend going to another mechanic shop where they have the staff to work on your vehicle. I was told they only have 2 mechanics on Mondays,I don't know how many they have the rest of the week but apparently not many because the business is full of vehicles that aren't being worked on.

I'm from out of town, and I took my car here to get something looked at before I drove 1000 miles home. I thought something might be wrong with the CV axle, but they took a look and told me nothing was wrong with it, greased up the part that was making noise, and returned it to me the same day. Exceptional experience from beginning to end! The owner has the highest integrity and honesty and actually cares about the customers. Price was extremely fair. Took car in for valve cover gaskets replacement, spark plugs, new ignition coils, oil change. Ash went above and beyond and replaced my coolant reservoir that had a hole in it, that is outstanding customer service and I was very impressed! I have had zero leaks and car is running much better. Service only took 2 days. Gladly taking my 2nd car in next week for some work!

I would always recommend Ash for any issues you have with your car.He would always give you honest suggestions and will fix it with most affordable price. Me and my brother have been trusting Ash for over six years now and will be a lifetime customer.Always a five star service.

Excellent. Incredibly fair pricing and very helpful. My transmission went out and they were able to refer me to a local towing company they work with to have the car brought in and fixed the car within 24 hours. We need the van to move the kids around so I greatly appreciate their prompt work.

Seriously the only place we will take our vehicles to. My husband s dad has been going to him for years, as will our family. Honest, trustworthy and affordable. I never have to worry about him trying to nickel or dime us. If you don t want to feel used or lied to, Ash Automotive is the place to go. Thanks for all the car help!

Mr. Ash and his auto advisors are all top rate. Their knowledge of the cars is impeccable, and they are honest, charging fairly for the work done and honoring a warranty, even when the time limit has expired by a month or two. I wouldn t bring my car to Amy other mechanic because of their knowledge and integrity.

I was recommended by a friend to Ash Automotive and the experience was unprofessional and horrible. Ash had my vehicle for over two weeks without being looked at. I was very patient because he informed me that he very behind and under staffed. Well he thought he found the problem with my vehicle and "fixed" it. Well four days later my wife had the same issue with the car. We paid over $500 for the "repairs". As anyone would be, it was frustrating and disappointing. My wife and I took the vehicle back to Asha and with out most respect we told him that the issue was not fixed because it was doing the exact same thing we originally brought it for. I'm not sure if he was having a bad, but he refused to look at it because we told him it was not fixed. So he took that very personal and took as if we said he didn't know what he was doing... never once did we say that. Even if we showed Frustration he should of tucked his personal feelings aside. So he just straight up refused to look at it again and fix it. He gave us back our money, but this was extremely unprofessional. Never again Mr. Ash and as someone who lives in the neighborhood you will not be getting recommendations from me. We took the car to the Honda dealership and found out it was the starter the whole time. So now a big company is getting my money instead of a small business. Sad.

It seems redundant at this point to leave Ash any more good reviews - it seems pretty obvious that he's a stand up dude and runs a legit business. That being said, I've never had a warranty on my vehicle before and didn't realize that I was supposed to check in with them first before getting any major repairs on my vehicle if I wanted them to pay for it. Ash spent about 20 minutes on the phone with them to get my repairs reimbursed, which apparently is basically unheard of. I've been going here for everything from oil changes to major repairs on 2 different vehicles for almost 3 years now and I have had nothing but positive experiences.

Friendly staff & service!!! Ash, the owner is an excellent mechanic himself. He is honest, and will tell you exactly what you need, and he will never overcharge his customers at all. I have done business with him for at least 10 years now, and I have no complaints at all with his service...
