Fixed my 2001 buicks transmission a year ago. Offered me towing for 100$, offered me a warranty and had the lowest price when i called around. Was a very sufficient family owned business and got my car out as soon as he could. Great business with great prices. Very pleased with his work.

He did the work on replacing my transmission on Saturday. Took half day to do. Also said I needed a new torque converter. So had that also installed from and by him. Paid over half the bill in cash as he requested. That remaining in a check, thank goodness. Drove my pickup 507 miles and everything locked up on it. Had to have it towed back up to the Fort Worth area costing me money. With my job I have to have dependable vehicle. This locking up of my transmission, torque converter, and engine cost me to have to pay close to $3500 to pay for 8 people's wages for the day due to the fact no one could move or work that day.Call Scott about the problem. Said it wasn't from his work. He was sure of it. Had to be my engine.After tearing into it myself to find out what the problem was, I found it to be a broken bolt in the torque converter he put in. Bolt wedged in and locked up everything and bent the flywheel, left major grooves in the torque converter,Call Scott again and said no way did that happen. Must have been how I was driving it. And would not stand behind his 12 month or 12,000 mile warranty. So I immediately went and stopped payment on his check I'd given him which had not cleared the bank.Guess we now will be going to court over this matter. I took photos of everything I saw and found that created this problem.I RECOMMEND .... DON'T EVER USE HIM, NO MATTER HOW MUCH CHEAPER HE MAY BE. IN LONG RUN IT HAS COST ME AND EXTRA $5000.Definitely did not save me any money or time by having him do the work.,.

I had to take my truck to this transmission shop 2 times because it was never fixed correctly the first time. Picking it up for the second time i noticed the check engine light was on so i assumed he must ve bumped into something but never fixed it. My transmission is still not correct so i gave him a call and complained and asked for him to fix it once again. He has yet to take it back in. I do not recommend this shopService: Transmission

This is a rare find in the automotive industry; fair, honest, and fast. Told me the day it'd be ready, and it was Scooter has always done right by us. He quoted a price to rebuild my transmission, and that's what it was. When I had a leak, he could have hosed us, he didn't. I would recommend them with 5+ stars and them some.

Did what they said they would do, when they said it would be done! And actual price!!?? Hubby seemed pleased, he knows mechanics and this was something he couldn't do now that he has trouble with his vision. Lots of people won't work on Cbryslers or Dodge. We are very grateful!

If we could give this place more stars I would give them. We have tried to find a REPAIR transmission place for a Volvo all over. We tried Waco, Temple, Killeen, Gatesville, Stevenville, other places in and around that listed as repair places until you mention Volvo. At Scooter's this guy said he wasn't afraid of anything and unfortunately yes, he did repair Volvo transmissions. God bless him! No appointment needed, he is open 8 - 6 Mon - Fri. He is in Weatherford, which is a drive and that's fine.Well unfortunately before we took the Volvo in, we read the comments online and it really scared us off. With what we read ... no wonder he isn't afraid of anything. Read the comments if interested and draw your own conclusions. CAUTION

SCAM REPAIR GUY!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Guy (Scott Wisdom and Darlene Wisdom) will tell you 650 keep your vehicle 10 weeks and charge you 1500 bucks to pick it up then When you do pick it up it makes this awful grinding why always and when you try to call Scott immediately afterwords his phone is off he doesn t respond to text and ghost me for a week and a half When I finally get it towed back over to his shop he delivered a box of parts and I don t drive a whole truck and charged me 1500 bucks

My dad brought his truck here to have his Transmission rebuilt because it was slipping. My dad was patient and let Scott take his time, but when my dad got his truck back 3 days later he begin to hear a grinding noise from the transmission so he had to take it back. When he got it back this time the transmission once again starting slipping, so my dad took it back for a third time because he paid $1,600 for Scott to get it right the first time. Also when we have gone there, the music is extremely loud and no one can hear you. They look high as a kite from drugs, and they are very unprofessional.

When I took my car to scooter's transmission for repairs, I was given an approximate date it would be ready and I was called the next day it was ready, I have had no problems transmission is working like new again and I appreciate the speedy service I was given. I would recommend Scooters transmission to my friends and family he and his wife were very courteous.

Definitely needs to be shut down! Paid him $1450.00 kept truck 2 weeks said to come get it and couldn t get truck out of 4 wheel drive ! Didn t put bolts back in torsion bars ! Have the worst transmission leak! I have video of it all ! Want return calls I have a bill that I will be serving him with! Worst person EVER!

Horrible experience. STAY AWAYY!!!!. He is nothing but a crook, liar, and a thief. Charged close to double what his quote was, says ready to pick up but vehicle has same problem. Ignored my repeated calls and text messages. Won't give refund or pay to have a professional do the job right. Says he warranties the work but refuses to fix the problem. Again best bet is to just STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!

Said it would be 2 day with a warranty with the price of 1200. He had my van over a month still didn't fix the problem and changed the price ro 1900. Plus he told me to f@&k off.

Yea great price spent 950$ r and r myself 4 times now. Been better off spending the 2300$ with someone else cause thats what I've spent in tranny fluid and filters. Wont return calls or text. Learned a valuable lesson dont pinch pennies to save a dollar.....

Poor Advertisement and has 2 Inappropriate Confederate Flags which is so outdated. It s 2021. I pray for you that you realize why you only have 3 Low stars and see that maybe that s why your business isn t thriving. Get a grip on your self and find god! Praying for the hate you have in your heart but greatful that you expose yourself.

Worst experience ever!!!! Hes good at taking your money. Leaving you to figure it out on your own when he doesnt do the job right. Bad idea to deal with this guy. Hes also very rude when you want him to fix his mistakes. In my case its been two weeks and still waiting

Just want to say a huge thanks to scooters transmission the owner an his workers are fantastic he does quality work for low prices he kept me informed thru the hole process sent me pictures of the work he was doing kept me informed on what was wrong with my transmission he went the extra mile did a couple things that he noticed were wrong with my vehicle an assessed the problem an let me know about it an did it all in a very timely manner would definitely recommend family an friends to scooters an I will definitely be doing future business with these guys

The owners Scott and Darlene aka Judy Stole/emptied my wifes deceased grandparants and uncles storage unit. We wil be filing charges with the sherriff's development . I wouldn't recomend these low life people to anyone

Complete failure is what they are good at! Do not use there or get sucker in on there prices. DOES NOT DO COMPLETE REBUILD ON TRANMISSIONS!!!!!!! be aware what are doing before you have them work on your vehicle.

I'd definitely recommend SCOOTERS TRANSMISSION to friends and family love that they offer free towing and 12 month or 12,000 mile warranty it's convenient and shows they really care about their customers also cheap prices for excellent work and it's family ran they always give friendly service never had any problems definitely a SCOOTERS TRANSMISSION customer for life thanks SCOOTERS TRANSMISSION keep up the good work

Excellent service I bought a rebuilt transmission from them the price was good I installed the transmission and the pump bearing broke called them and they answered the phone right away and told me to bring it back which I did they stayed after hours to fix the problem and did not charger me for it went back installed the transmission again only for the pump bearing to break again so I called once again and they answered right away and told me to bring it back so I did we tore it apart and fixed the problem AGAIN FOR FREE money out of their pocket just to get me running again very professional they took the time to help me find the problem without charging me any extra we found out the problem was a wrong torque converter is why the bearing keep breaking which was not their fault or problem they should have charged me to fix the bearing both times it broke scenes it was not because of anything they did but they didn't they were more concerned about getting to the bottom of the problem instead of how much money they could make off of me

Great guy, fixed my transmission, after 3 other mechanics couldn't, ended up being a burnt wire and he didn't charge me anything!!!Again thanks for the help!!!!!!
