Awesome man. He knows his stuff and yes it dose take a while first come first serve! People come all across the country to have him fix their vehicle s. He done an incredible job on mine. I recommend him 100%!

Went in thinking that I needed a rebuild! Ended up being some other code problems! Mike was very helpful and polite to explain everything! Was very happy with the service and I will return if I ever need to! Thanks Mike

Awesome place took my truck in. bid was 2800 for the transmission, they repaired all that was wrong besides transmission bill was 3200..for everything they did to my truck excellent..thank you all at Mike's trick shift really appreciate you

When I went into shop, per instruction of lady in front, I asked for Mike. He said I'm Mike. Then turned his back and ignored me. If he was too busy to speak to me he could have told me, instead of rudely ignoring a customer. Then after I left, he called me and rudely demanded "what the H#LL is your problem? I explained it was his lack of customer service skills and told him I'd take my business elsewhere. I got tired of him constantly calling me. I quit answering his calls. He even left a message. I deleted without listening to it. I had to block his number on my phone. Take your transmission work somewhere else.

We'll not stand behind his warranty He rebuilt my 2012 transmission supposed to be good for over a 1000 horsepower Around 10000 miles almost 7 months later Is me on the side of the road I take it to him he tears it down says the thru shift is broke and it is not his fault when I come to get the truck and charges me $3100 more and said none of it was under warranty plus said it showed signs of wear on the clutches meaning it didn't have enough line pressure so he added a 400 dollar pressure kit without asking. I do not recommend using him to work on a bicycle I'm very upset would not work with me at allService: Transmission

Well I got burned pretty bad here.1 mile later my transmission is out at another shop. He didn t replace so many things that it needed.Just a terrible rebuild. Didn t replace basic stuff like bushings. And the pump. And the bands.Didn t do any of the simple upgrades that everyone does when they are in there either.Enjoy your leaky anchor of a car when you get it back.Better off going anywhere else.

After talking to several local engine and transmission mechanics in the area, all agreed that Mike knows transmissions, does excellent work, and runs an honest business. Based on those recommendations, I chose Mike to rebuild the tranny on my '02 F250. The work was completed quickly and he even took the time to show me how he customized the repair. When another engine mechanic caused the loss of fluid and damage to the tranny, Mike worked patiently with me as I attempted to get the engine mechanic to cover the cost of repair. I consider Mike an honest expert in his field.

Mike has built two race transmissions for me a 4R70W for a Cobra Mustang that was using a 200hp shot of nitrous and a C4 for my '90 Mustang GT.The Cobra had MANY bottles of n20 ran through it and the trans never had any kinds of problems AT ALL. The C4 runs just fine but I've yet to actually race that car yet. I can't speak on the other folks negative experience with Mike other than sometimes working with the public you get "those kind of people" that you just can't please no matter what and want something for nothing. Don't know if that's the case but there's always another side to the story.

Well, here is my husband's story as to not use them.So, my husband and i pay 2800 for this shop to redo his transmission back in May of this year. A week later there is an issue with the truck and he takes it back. We are already assuming somone broke it installing it back into the truck. The transmission is leaking fluid (mind you, it wasn't doing this prior to being dropped off at the shop) and so forth but the shop says it isn't covered under warranty and they didn't cause the issue. They recommend a different shop, my husband takes it there and they say it is a part he can replace. We pay to replace the part, but now there is another issue. Yet again not covered. They are blaming my husband for cracking the transmission housing which he did not do. The owner says that the other shop saw the crack when my husband took it to them back in May. He calls the shop and confronts them and they said no they did not see the crack. So bascially the owner just threw the other shop under the bus and he saw the crack in May.The transmission had been leaking since the shop touched it. We believe a worker broke the housing and is not owning up to his mistake. The worker's mistake is now costing us over $7800.We DO NOT recommend Mike's Trick Shift whatsoever.

Mike is a raging lunatic. I can't imagine ever doing business with someone as mentally unstable as this guy. Yelling, screaming and calling a customer an ass hole for leaving a phone message asking for an update on their tranny. Life is too short to deal with people like him. There are plenty of other performance transmission shops out there. I recommend going with anybody else.
