The team at Maxx Outdoor is amazing! They were so helpful and informative from the beginning to the day they delivered our big blue beauty. They went 1000 extra miles to help us. No joke! This team of genuine, caring individuals not only helped us make an informed decision but also walked us through financing with lots, and lots of patience. Their service didn't stop there.... Jessica, who answered my first call, always cheerful and happy to help, really drove 1000 miles, 2 states away, ensuring the safe arrival of our purchase. The honesty and integrity the entire team demonstrated was truly the best experience I've had with a purchase or any other business dealing. We love our new tractor and are so blessed to have met such an amazing bunch!

When you drive up the road, you see an incredible inventory of lawn mowers, tractors, front end loaders, disc harrows, combines, zero turn mowers, etc.....As soon I walked in the door- I was welcomed by every employee I met. This store was like a family. Each and every employee was smiling, cheerful and wonderful. The store is clean and filled with everything you could ever need for your landscaping / farming needs. My husband owns a landscaping business, and I was there to purchase tires for his zero turn mower. This store had these very hard to find tires. I met with Thomas, who was so kind and knowledgeable. He loaded the tires in my truck and I was on my way. I recommend Maxx Outdoor & Equipment for the backyard weekend warriors to the highest professional landscaping business, and to the farmers. This place had a little bit of everything, and a lot of FANTASTIC PEOPLE to help you with everything!

They held a Easter Egg Hunt this year and it was awesome! They had multiple bounce houses for kids, free food(which was delicious), they we're kinda unorganized for the egg hunt, BUT it was their first egg hunt so that's to he expected. Employee's we're very kind and curtious. All in all when I need to buy something for any outside use I'll definitely head to Maxx!

These guys are criminals. I bought a used car from them that they represented as "repaired" and under manufacturer warranty. Then i found out the car had been at a salvage auction before and somehow the title had been cleaned (washed) or misbranded altogether. I later found out the car wasnt even safe to ride in - after i had my kids in the car! They refused to take the car back, and legal fees weren't worth it. I traded the car in and took a huge loss. This place is as crooked as the day is long, do not buy any vehicles from them. I filed a complaint with the state attorney general, hopefully they go after them. Shame on you Maxx Outdoor.

Hailey Blankenship, was very nice and helpful. She greeted us with friendly service and professionalism. I was able to get in with my equipment and get out in less than 30 minutes. repeat business for sure you get five stars and you have a loyal customer. Great job guys.

Ginny and the team were very courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable! This is my husbands go to store for all of his outdoor needs, all the way down to blades for his mower and chainsaw. He loves shopping here and says he wishes all places were as helpful and nice as this one. Thank you Ginny for your excellent service!

Maxx Outdoor is a great place to do business. They did work to fix my side x side and could have easily charged up my bill with unnecessary parts and labor, but they actually troubleshot a tricky issue and did only the labor necessary to work out the issue. The service management and technicians are top notch and I can t wait to buy a mower from these guys and know I m getting a product that the seller stands behind. Thanks Maxx!!!

Excellent customer service and very knowledgeable. They have a "How may we exceed your expectations today?" attitude. Went above and beyond to assist me with a mower blade.

Don't waste your money. Problem after problem from the equipment I've bought here. spent over 100k in less than a year, and another 15k+ in repairs because the extended warranty they push, doesn't seem to cover anything. 6 denied warranty claims, And they refuse to do anything to help. I've been waiting for 2 months on a call back from the manager. And I can't foresee myself getting that call. But, no worries. I'll gladly spend my money somewhere else.

I had a great experience buying my new Gravely mower. The staff was very friendly and great to work with, especially Jessica. She dealt with me over the phone and I told her what I was looking for and she got me exactly what I needed at a price that could not be beat. She worked with me and made the whole buying process super easy and pleasant. I could not have ask for a better sales person. I would definitely recommend Maxx Outdoor Equipment for any of your outdoor needs.

Long story, short story; I brought my blower machine for over six months, they changed parts without asking me did not fix it and they charged me anyway !

I drove 2 hours to test a used piece of equipment.I told the "sales" rep that I wanted the unit but there was an ignition problem. She assured me that it would be fixed before it left the shop. So I ask, "What's the next step to get the sale done?" She just gave me a blank stare and then said she would call me. I left and called the next day and the unit was sold. Very unprofessional staff.I gave an extra star because it's a nice facility.

I had a great buying experience with Maxx. Good inventory, no pressure environment and knowledgeable staff. Haley was my sales representative. She was knowledgeable but not condecending, if she did not know the answer to one of my questions she admitted it and talked to a tech to find out. Haley also told me about a discount program that I was unaware of that saved me money. Other dealers did not inform me of the program and that is when I decided to use Maxx. They even loaned me a trailer so I could get my new mower home. I will use them again in the future. Very satisfied.

I called and asked for parts dept. the individual in parts was rude and hung up on me. My question was simple, I have a Scag Tiger Cat 52" deck and needed 3 blades, his response was we don't deal with Scag and hung up. I did not need Scag parts I needed (3) 18" mower blades any brand would have worked for me. I will never spend a dollar at Maxx Outdoor nor will I ever recommend Maxx Outdoor to anyone I know. I would highly recommend customer etiquette training to all store employees!

My mother n law just bought her first new travel trailer from Maxx Outdoor. Kerry was great and friendly. He went above and beyond for her. I totally recommend this store.... We will be back. Good job Kerry!

Big shout out to the whole team at Maxx outdoors! They were great to deal with from start to finish. Not only did they have the best prices around they also had the most knowledge of their products! (I checked 3 different tym dealers on prices). Huge shout out to Jessica for being my sales associate and for not acting like you are in sales but more of a consultant to help me get what I wanted!! Need assistance? Call and ask for Jessica!

We bought our Sporttrek Touring with Jessica and she was amazing. She was patient and diligent with our questions. The entire team was a pleasure to work with. Jake was a wealth of knowledge on our walk thru!! Maxx took good care of us to make sure we had all we needed for our new camper. I truly appreciate all the work from Jessica and the entire team.

We looked at a lot of compacts and decided on TYM. Worked with Jim who treated us fair and with respect. Showed us the service area and gave us a comprehensive overview of the tractor. The staff was knowledgeable and the pricing was competitive. We ll be back for any of our future outdoor needs. Thanks everyone.

First time requesting service for my Bad Boy mower. Sent an inquiry online. Jenny in service immediately tried calling to discuss options. She then introduced me to Reno and he continued to validate options and pricing. Communication was key. Reno confirmed estimate before any work was to begin and less than 24 hours all service was complete and estimate was exactly what he said it would be. Thank you to the staff and team.

Great sales, parts, and service staff. Jessica Canafax is wonderful to work with, as is Jodi Berman, Great dealership, Mower Delivery person was extremely helpful, very nice buildout of the facility, the staff makes you feel comfortable and without any typical sales pressure. Highly recommend them!

I have my own Lawn Care Business, and I was on my way back to Brown County from Dallas in September, and I saw a lot of mowers here at Maxx Outdoor. As most people know mowers have been hard to get here in the past 8 months and especially in Brown, Taylor and Jones County where I live close to. So when I saw a lot of mowers in Weatherford TX I had to stop. The people inside were decently nice, but I did ask for an estimate on my 2021 Gravely HD mower with only 5 hours and they completely low balled the heck out of there own product they sell. I was offered $2,000-$2,500 on a $5,599 mower with only 5 hours on it. When they did that it just turned me away from the store. A few days later I went to Abilene Texas at the Gravely dealer there and I mentioned that I was in Weatherford and the manager immediately knew the store I was talking about. Site unseen in Abilene I was offered $4,500 and ultimately $5,000 when they saw it. I don't recommend this store if your a customer or a lawn Care Pro trying to sell or trade your mower. 2 Stars just because the lady & guy seemed cool.

I hate paying super premium prices for stihl equipment, but the prices are the same anywhere you go. One thing that isn t the same everywhere is the customer service. Everyone I have felt with was very helpful and accommodating. Especially James in parts. Recommend!

Worst dealership I ve ever encounteredSerious lack of direction, constant micromanaging and narcissistic behavior from leadership. Inadequate record keeping and ongoing budget mismanagement that prohibits leadership from making educated, analytical business decisions. Dealership s leadership has no understanding of dealer operations and perception of reality is skewed and lacked any minutiae of goes on in each department. Used equipment is seldom portrayed in condition advertised due to being in use off site, inventory control is nonexistent, adherence to required dealer-manufacturer agreement is considered optional and unimportant. Staff is untrained and leadership doesn t understand what is required to run the departments. Growth is expected without adequate resources needed to obtain.Any new employee placed in GM Role is quickly undermined and short lived. Individual department leadership is thwarted due to ownership s micromanaging and overruling Management decisions on policy or allocation of personnel. Spent most of my time fixing problems due to counterproductive, careless, and impulse decisions that tied up personnel and wasted resources. Anything promised to you better be in writing or it won t happen.Pros:Air conditioning, bathrooms on premisesCons:Unprofessional leadership, high turnover rates, Power outages, Outdated and Inefficient DMS, Lack of defined roles and responsibilities, limited floor plan, budget mismanagement or lack thereof, management/ownership lacks experience of dealer operations, micromanagingIs Maxx Outdoor & Equipment a good company to work for?No, dealership likely to close due to lack of direction and constantly changing expectations. No morals, questionable business practices, nonexistent integrity, customer base unimportant, profit over people, suffers from shortsided decision making, and serious lack of clear direction.How are the working hours at Maxx Outdoor & Equipment?I worked on average 70-80 hours a week. No understanding from leadership if you schedule time for appointments to go to doctor or have personal business to attend. Constantly increasing expectations and adding responsibilities without compensation or appreciation.
