Eagle Transmission is absolutely amazing!! The staff is friendly , knowledgeable, and with great communication skills. My Dodge Avenger started having a lot of problems. I took the vehicle up there, and they provided a no cost assessment. The car ended up having a bad transmission, catylic converter, and several other issues. The mechanics worked efficiently to restore the engine like new. If you ever find yourself in need of a great mechanic, please reach out to Eagle Transmission. You will be glad you did!

My vehicle jerked hard upon leaving a stoplight and got stuck in 3rd gear and a CEL (p0750) appeared for faulty shift solenoids. It had driven perfectly before this. Limped it up to this shop for a diagnostic and after being offered a used trans for half the price I eventually settled on a complete rebuild ($3,101 @ 213k miles)and it took them a little longer to complete than estimated (a total of 15 days from date of drop-off). When I asked what exactly caused this failure and they were unable to provide a solid answer other than "the transmission was old and worn out." I took the car back within 30-days for a recheck.Jump ahead a year+ later the car is still driving good at 240k+. The trans did develop a leak that got worse over time, but nothing extreme. I took the car back for a regular maintenance fluid change and to address the leak (which was allegedly due to some loose trans pan bolts) and was charged $208.This shop has a lot on their plate and they can get backed up pretty quickly so I can understand their hassles. Overall I suppose I'm satisfied. These prices are about what I expected to have paid. I will continue to do future fluid changes myself every 30k using the appropriate ATF and hopefully the car will continue rolling down the road.

I called to see if they serviced a particular vehicle the man told me to bring it up there, I drove from Grand Prairie to this specific location and got told they don't service my kind of vehicle because it is foreign. Thanks for wasting my gas and time when you need to tell your employees what vehicle you guys service instead of having customers happy and wasting time just to get told no , this is not how you do business.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Eagle Transmission to fix my car's transmission, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the service they provided. From start to finish, the team at Eagle Transmission was professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating. When I first contacted Eagle Transmission, they were able to schedule an appointment for me quickly and easily. Once I arrived, they promptly diagnosed the issue with my car and provided me with a fair and honest estimate for the repairs. Throughout the repair process, they kept me updated on the progress of the work and made sure to answer any questions I had. Most importantly, the repair work itself was top-notch. My car is now running smoothly and I have no doubt that the transmission repairs will last for years to come. I can confidently recommend Eagle Transmission to anyone in need of transmission repairs or related services.Overall, I was incredibly impressed with the quality of service provided by Eagle Transmission. They exceeded my expectations in every way and I would not hesitate to use their services again in the future. Five stars all around!Service: Transmission

At last! An honest transmission shop. They charged me nothing since the problem did not relate to the transmission. He could have suggested a $5500 rebuild. Instead, he told me that not all transmission problems are such. They involve other components. I highly recommend this shop for this integrity.

I had a rebuild done on a 98 jeep wrangler. They did a fantastic job at a very decent price. The job is complete in a reasonable amount of time, and I was kept up-to-date. Like a lot of people I m skeptical about a lot of businesses, but found everyone at this location as someone I could take it face value. Eagle Transmission of Watauga will be my go to place and I highly recommend them.Service: Transmission

I chose this company to fix my transmission because their customer service was excellent. I called over 50 companies trying to get help with my car and Todd was eager to help. He responded immediately and explained the process to me putting my mind at ease at a time when I was losing it. He immediately sent a tow truck to pick up my vehicle. So far so good!!!!Service: Transmission

John is a smooth talker. He wanted to keep the car for 2 weeks to rebuild the transmission. Said it'd cost a fortune. I'm glad I declined. As soon as I paid the $99.95 diagnostic fee he was very cold. I didn't get a good feeling. Glad I got out before I got in too deep with this place. The one star reviews speak for themselves. There's just no shortcut on integrity. If there's no trust there can be no relationship with a mechanic. As soon as I left the Service Engine Soon light went off. The mixed reviews of this place are a red flag. Just giving my honest impression.Service: Transmission

So far so good:). The shop was very thorough and everything seems to be in great running order after having the transmission repaired in one of our vehicles. Unfortunately, there is construction going on next door and mice decided my truck would be a fabulous new home while it was there. Of course, because they were not working inside the truck they didn't know anything about it and I found the evidence after I left. I cleaned it up, but the rodents had damaged something in the connections for the air bags and Eagle got us in and fixed that right up. Under the circumstances, I think they handled it the best they could and hopefully the mice have moved along... It will after all the construction is completed.

We took our vehicle to this shop for a simple repair (water pump). The part was going to have to be ordered so we waited. Finally the part came in and they put it on. We did not even make it a mile down the road and the vehicle started smoking. They admitted to putting a faulty part on the vehicle causing more problems and agreed to try again. After months of having our vehicle and going back and forth they told us that the motor was blown and they needed 12 grand to fix it. We only went in for a simple water pump. We continued to pay for our vehicle for a year while they worked out the details to get it repaired. We then get a bill in the mail stating that we needed to pay them because the vehicle was sitting on their property. There is a lot more detail to this as well, but I would definitely not recommend using this place. They took advantage of our family and could not fix what they did.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

Excellent service with the manager, he handled everything very well with my transmission oil change and even knocked off ten bucks from the regular price. He was already $50 less than the other guys in Fort Worth Then he gave me $10 more off. Wow what a deal. He also gave me a thorough inspection on my car. And everything sounded good. You can't ask for any more than that. I would highly recommend Eagles transmission for any of your transmission needs.

Women please be aware. I took in my mother in laws van for a diagnostic. I was told the torque converter needed to be replaced and transmission rebuilt. I was originally quoted $4350 from Ken the regional manger. The office manger John called me to pick it up I was charged $4850. $500 more than the original quote! I paid it and two days later my mother in law couldn t start the car or get it into gear. I took it back and explained the same original problem. When shifting the van jumps. When it goes into reverse as well as drive. They kept the van another 3 weeks. John explained that the transmission mounts needed to be replaced. I asked why wasn t that fine when they removed the trans. He said he would only charge me for the mounts and not labor. When we picked it up, I got in and literally THE SAME PROBLEM. During this time I have left 20 I repeat 20 messages for the regional manager. Also text messages. No reply. I went out of town and John convinced my sister I m law to pay $1500 for the mounts! Yesterday they said they fixed it, I spoke with the owner he said he took care of. Problem is I ve spent almost $7000 on a 2009 Nissan Quest. And the check engine light is still on. They will avoid your calls, especially if they get your money! Which you have to pay before they bring your car out to you. I am highly disappointed and do not recommend. We will also be contacting the BBB to express our concerns.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic

Not bad but not that great.I selected Eagle Transmission based on their good reviews. I took my daughters 2013 Scion FRS there to get the throw out bearing and clutch replaced. Two days later they called and said it was ready. I picked it up and noticed it was hard to get into first and second gear, but thought it needed to be broken in. After researching online I figured out they didn t adjust the reverse lockout properly. So I took the car back with a diagram of how to adjust it.I went back a second time to get it, and driving home I got it into first gear great, but now second gear didn t work. The guy said he only tested first gear and thought it was good.I come back a third time, it seems to have been fixed. Every time I come to get it, some of the plastic is not put back together and we have to snap it back ourselves. My daughter is not convinced they did the job right, she says the clutch pedal travel is shorter and she is concerned about it, but they gave us a 12000 mile 12 month warranty if something goes wrong. I think it felt fine, but she said it doesn t feel like it used too, and she s the one who drives the car, not me.Unfortunately it wasn t a warm and fuzzy feel good process, and I would have payed a premium to take it to the dealer if I had it to do over with. It doesn t feel like it should, but I don t have confidence in taking it back to them to get it right.

Eagle transmission in North Richland Hills did an amazing job for me . He saved me thousands of dollars he went above and beyond to make sure that the warranty for my car was honored he even helped transfer the car to the Nissan dealership since they ended up being liable for the defect under the manufacturer warranty he set up the tow truck getting the fees covered walking me through what to do and making the sign honor the warranty all things he did not have to do. They are very honest hard-working and trustworthy, which is hard to find. He was respectful and explained things to me and never talked down.

Went to see John at Eagle Transmission in Watauga last week because my car was h having issues going into gear. I had brought it in about a year ago for the same issue. He took it in and worked with me even though the car was just a month out of warranty. He was able to help me out quickly and at a great price. Thank you so much to John and the rest of the guys!Service: Transmission

Eagle Transmission on RUFE SNOW is the place to go. I had work done for my Ford Explorer and one of the technicians was sloppy and didn't do a couple of tasks properly. When I returned with an issue, the management at Eagle took responsibility and made sure that I was 100% satisfied! Even just after the warranty period, a small part broke that held things together in the shifter and while is was a part defect (not an employee issue), I took it back to Eagle and they took care of it at no extra cost to me! Amazing! Not many shops stand by their work at this level! Go go go!

Took my transmission to them. At first everything seemed okkay, they kept in touch, but come to find out they were just being slick. I, no lie had to take my truck back 4 times. They had my truck for almost 2 months. While they had it I had them work on the front end; they forgot to replace the cam bolts. I had them check into a sound it was making around the drive shift, they said it was the carrier bearing, replaced it, it still made the noise when I took it to another mechanic they replaced the U joint, problem solved. After the 4th time on the transmission I told them they did not do the job right, and I wanted my money back. They basically told me to take them to court. So out of pocket I had to take it somewhere else to be fixed. Straight up crooks!!

I can t even begin to explain the issues I ve had with this shop, if you d even consider it to be one. If I could give it negative stars I would. First off, my Car was transferred from Dads Tool Box, whom which I spoke to the owner Will who diagnosed my problem initially, and then it somehow ended up next door getting worked on without my knowledge. Second: mechanics drive other customers cars to pick up other customers (who weren t wearing masks, I am talking about myself and boyfriend) during a pandemic/ yellow soft Chrysler/ grey Lexus or Ford Focus with baby seat in the backThird: the first time Arturo was sent to come jump the car from my driveway, (which there are cameras) the day after we were given it back fixed initially, he was showing me the terminals of my battery in the trunk with his live wire battery still on and let the positive negative shock together about an inch from my face, very professional.Fourth: When the battery was last replaced and needed a computer reset, we were given the car back already running behind the shop and drove away and made it to an auto part shop down the road before the car wouldn t start again and when we called Eagle to ask if they reset the battery John the general manager s verbatim response was um uh well we just unplugged it and plugged it back in, I think our computer reset machine isn t working, my electrical expert isn t here and told us to take it back to basically a real shop, which it ended up being BMW of Arlington. So a backhanded no, he didn t reset the computer system. When he sent Arturo to come jump the car he put the blame of the blown fuse on the Advance Auto Parts mechanic not knowing what he was doing. Pot calling the kettle black if I ve ever seen it.Fifth: Arturo had to pull the blueprint layout of the car to even find the fuse box(which he never even found), when the NEW signs posted hugely on the front of the store specifically says works on foreign vehicles I wouldn t even let them touch my Ford if I had one for an oil change.Sixth: When I went in July 6th for the $90 he told me he d refund for his computer reset machine not working, he told me the only reason he s refunding me isn t because they installed the battery wrong, (which I have a certified copy from BMW of Arlington stating they did) but so he won t have to see my face in there anymore I then asked if he was the owner to which he replied no and asked to speak to the owner to which I was denied and told him to make a note that I d like to speak with him, which his response was if I remember so I ll be calling back every day until his memory problem subsides. Also as I was walking out he told me good luck getting someone to come jump my car like that s literally the only thing they could do was get it started, and also almost everyone carries cables, I only called him so his mechanics could get paid to come jump me for free, but I doubt I ll be needing a jump what with BMW actually knowing what they re doing on foreign vehicles, but I appreciate his concern although I don t need his mechanic to come jump me and potentially electrocute me again. He also didn t want to refund my other money for the other parts of the car he messed up, so I m now dealing with the bank and actual BMW dealership that I should have done in the first place to get my money back and he then threatened to have my car towed since he knows where we live The most unprofessional shop and human I ve ever had to deal with, seriously take your car to an actual dealership it ll be worth it in the end, and if you drive a foreign vehicle definitely take it elsewhere because these huge new works on foreign and domestic vehicles sign was not there a week ago.

I had my clutch replaced by Eagle. It was one of the most reasonably priced out of the shops that I contacted and they did amazing work. They kept in communication and made sure that there were no surprises. I have driven my car for weeks without any issues. I would recommend them to anyone and give them all of my future business.

I was having trouble with my Dodge Dart s Steering column that caused my windshield wiper motor to stay on. Bob was able to take a look at it immediately a day after calling him to let him know what the issue with my car was. He gave me a free quote, and my car was able to be fixed a couple of weeks afterward at the price quoted.Bob s service and engagement was above and beyond anything that I had ever expected from a shop. I took my car on a Monday and he told me it would be ready by the next day, and so it was. Bob has earned my trust, by not only staying true to his word, but by delivering quality service you d expect from a car shop. This will be the shop that I continue to go to whenever an issue with my car may arise again. Thank you, Bob!

My husband took our car in last week because it was not running on full power how it s supposed to. They had it for 3 days never heard anything from them until my husband had to call and ask what was going on? They said they had checked it and ran the car and that nothing was wrong with it. We go pick it up and to my surprise it was in the same condition we took it in for. They did absolutely nothing to fix the problem. We had to take it to another repair shop and within a day they told us it was the motor, it needs a new one. Thankfully it s still under warranty. But I do not recommend this shop.
