Go to your franchise dealer because coming here will cost much more in the long run than the high price at the dealership. No big deal that I had to provide my own filter, have before. They first take off the cover on top of the engine looking for the filter and then realize it is under the vehicle. I mention "please put splash shield back on the vehicle. then 30 minutes pass and asked what kind of oil would I like. I told them that whatever is recommended. Another service tech asked what pressure I wanted in the tire and said whatever is recommended, then I proceeded to open the drivers door to get recommended PSI for the tech. I'm then revisited by the tech and told what oil is recommended. I tell the tech to go ahead and ask again please be sure to replace the splash guard and fasten completely. The tech states no problem. 50 minutes after arriving and watching most techs play with their phones instead of helping the techs working and checking the vehicle it's time to pay. I once again ask that they double check the splash guard and that it is easily missed to reattach. The tech said we have checked it during our routine check after the oil change and it has been pulled on to make sure it is securely fastened. So, after an hour I'm leaving my 15 minute oil change and headed home. it's not until Tuesday that I'm told by a neighbor, guess what? A BIG PLASTIC PEICE IS HANGING FROM THE BOTTOM OF YOUR CAR. That's correct they didn't fasten the splash guard back. I'm a hour and 1/2 from the station. I can't drive the car without damaging more. If the techs cannot replace a splash guard after instructing three times and blatantly misinform that it was completed then how can we be confident that they put oil back into the vehicle or the correct oil? What about the filter? Did that get replaced? Thanks guys appreciate the professionalism that is going missing in our society today.

Wouldn t honor the 20% off coupon had sent me via email. They said it was because I brought my own oil to be used. The coupon had no mention of this or any exception rendering the coupon useless.The attendant also dripped oil on the engine cover while removing the spout from the engine and didn t bother to wipe off the excess oil. Time to find a new place.

Too bad I have to give 1 star because this Valvoline doesn't deserve 1 star. For starters, good luck getting something as simple as an inspection performed because they can't even do that correctly. In January, they entered incorrect mileage while performing the inspection. So come March, I tried to sell said vehicle and was informed I couldn't because Valvoline entered the mileage incorrectly. I went back to Valvoline to have the issue resolved and was told by a manager 'Avante' that I would have to pay for the service again and they would not credit the service even though it was their mistake. I proceeded to pay just so I could get the issue resolved. Filed a formal complaint the next day. Asked the regional manager to call me back (which I've yet to hear from) and requested a refund (which I've yet to receive).I understand mistakes happen but it's all in the way these issues are handled and clearly Valvoline lacks competence, customer service and accountability. If they can't resolve issues or perform a simple inspection correctly, how must they be doing on their oil changes? I will NEVER go there again.

Valvoline instant oil changers did a wonderful job, changing the oil in my car. They gave attention to detail, reviewing all the systems and explaining everything thoroughly. The staff was very professional, polite and courteous. I highly recommend Valvoline instant oil, change to friends and family.

Left a previous review and they were great.This time around Jessica and Maurice running the line were so rude. Maurice instructed me to go to the first bay, when Jessica saw me driving up - she is literally screaming at me to wait. I was not going to drive into the actual bay just was trying to get my car centered. However, I m like okay I know! I will wait, no problem. When Maurice guided me into the bay, she came over to fill in my information. I did let her know that the last time I came the next day my car did not have any oil in it at all, which was weird because I came to Vavoline to the day before to get my oil changed. She mentioned them having stores in Louisiana because that s where I traveled to and when I realized my car did not have oil. My reasoning in tell her this was to make sure they double checked before I left. She said no problem. Then I hear her go to the front of the car where Maurice was telling him about how i mentioned no oil was in the car last time and said why wouldn t she called the Louisiana store. Like I said, I ve dealt with Vavoline before and and it was a good experience but maybe this time they were having a bad day or something. Doesn t matter why I didn t go to the Louisiana store, my dad checked it and had oil to refill my car, the main thing was making sure they did it right this time. Not sure if I will be visiting Vavoline again after today or recommending them to anyone. I have been in sales and customer service over 12 years and regardless of how I felt about minor things someone did, I wouldn t treat them this way.

With my on-board oil life monitor reminding me I had no more time to delay, I sought a nearby facility. I stopped at Valvoline Instant Oil Change at 650 E. Interstate 30, Rockwall, TX, 75087 (just east of Ridge Road). Luckily, I was ushered right away into an open bay and greeted by Bryan, who coordinated the services received during my visit. Myesha supervised and Nolan worked in the pit below. All worked together with efficiency and skill. Before long and without my ever leaving the comfort of my car the team had supplied my car with fresh oil, windshield wipers, proper tire inflation, and an array of other items had been checked. I also discussed a possible future transmission service with Bryan. Every step of the way, he kept me updated on the progress being made. He even had me start my engine for a moment while Nolan confirmed no oil was leaking from below after the refill. I've never been advised of that step by any other facility and I found it a mark of thorough work. When everything was completed, Bryan explained every aspect of my invoice. Whether or not it is encouraged by management, I was grateful that no aggressive upsale was attempted. Instead, Bryan informed me about the services I sought and their costs without injecting any unwarranted sense of urgency. Nevertheless, I felt certain I would have been advised had anything required immediate attention. The team's approach, the efficiency of the process, the convenience of the location/hours, and the variety/cost of services have ensured I will make this Valvoline Instant Oil Change my first choice when my car needs more of the basic maintenance that is crucial for any car's longevity.

Fast, Friendly, and Completely Professional!I pulled up and was immediately guided into a bay. Covid has everyone remaining in their vehicles. The staff were working on another vehicle but wasted no time in greeting me and getting my information so they could get things going. They went over everything with me, my options and things that needed to be serviced in the near future, but never did they pressure me to purchase anything I didn t need. My diesel van takes a whole lot of oil so it took a little longer than normal, but I was in and out in 25 minutes. It was a great and very fast experience and I was back on the road and completely satisfied with my experience.A few weeks after the oil change, I received a letter from Valvoline informing me that one of the staff members present that day had later tested positive for Covid-19. In the letter, they provided me with lots of information about the individuals infection and onset of symptoms to help me form a timeline to help monitory my own health. But I honestly wasn t worried, everyone at the location remained socially distanced from me and masked the entire time. It was a very considerate step and I really felt Valvoline went above and beyond my expectations here.I definitely will be back for every future change!

Poor customer service,Also, they were not able to do a typical oil chance. That takes 15 mins.Took them over an hour, and still, they could not get my f150 to a normal oil pressure .Very disappointed

There were a few things that had annoyed me about the shop. But one of the workers honesty won me over. I came in to do an oil change because my mileage was on the sticker and he pointed out that since I did a synth that I was only at 3,000 mi not 5000 mi. I appreciate that honesty and will be returning in 2000 miles

It was hot and they didn't invite me to wait in a cooler place while they changed the oil. They didn't exactly make me fill like they were entirely competent. Especially when I had to ask a couple of times for them to reset the maintenance required sensor

Are you kidding me? Oil change is over $50 and here s what I got. On my way to work, I m trying to get an oil change, and when it s time to go the machine is down. I say I have to go to work so he disappears and comes back five minutes later saying he can t find the manual pad either smh When I finally left my car was veering into middle of the road and I have to pull over and some of my tires are over 40 pressure and some are in the 30s. Who runs this place now? Ridiculous. They also didn t reset my system and they got the mileage wrong. Apparently the conventional oil will last 9000 miles. Yeah right. Yes it was this morning 7/12/23

Fast oil change, and you don't even have to get out of the car. Shop was super clean. The folks are professional and polite. Also helpful! I had a coupon for $7 off, and the scan didn't work. So the man gave me another promo that was $12 off. I think I've found our new regular shop!

I went here with higher expectations and the service was just okay. There were several employees working. I would say in total about 5. Only one person was actually servicing the two vehicles. The others were just standing around talking. I was asked about my tire pressure preference number only for that to never even be adjusted. I'm sure the technicians have experience working with vehicles my only other issue was how young everyone looked and me putting my trust into them actually servicing my brand new vehicle correctly. Would I come back? Maybe not, I'll try another location.

I always take my car to the dealership for service and this is my first time. The team was amazing ,fast, efficient and have a great system that they make sure everything is checked. I'm very pleased!

On this Tuesday afternoon it was easy access, no waiting and I could sit in my vehicle as the oil change service was performed.The service technicians were professional and thoroughly checked the tire pressures, brake, power steering, coolant & battery fluids. They added windshield washer fluid, ckecked the oil drain plug and gasket, reset the oil service indicator and checked the serpentine belt. I had a coupon for a discount so the total price was $40.25! I am very pleased.

Rockwall Valvoline is my "Go To" for my oil changes. The staff are always polite and friendly & professional and they all seem to work well together. Any one that I have dealt with has a smile & answers any questions or concerns that I may have. Vey knowledgeable with services provided and as well as any additional services. I never feel pressured and it is nice that they provide other services and you get a print out of those additional services. Today 10/14/2023 I needed an oil change and I was in and out no more than 15 mins. The manager Avaunti and Tech Riley(Topside) were courteous. I did not get to meet Tech Kayman(Bottomside) however, I want to say Thank you to all 3 for servicing my White Rose today. (aka my Ford 150) (LOL)Service: Oil change

I just wanted you to know you lost a long time customer today. Today while I was waiting in line I was asked to change lanes with another lady who had technically been there longer than I had. I was fine with that, you moved me into a lane with a vehicle that was in the bay and had something wrong with it, but you kept telling me that it was just about to be done. Meanwhile, I watched the vehicle that had been behind me move into another bay, and they were finishing it up and I was still waiting outside being told that the vehicle in front of me was just about finished. But, from what I could see the three technicians that were standing around looking in the hood looked as confused as they did when I first pulled into that lane. Anyway, if we re really talking fairness you should have pulled me around in front of the vehicle that had been behind me , just like you did for the lady who I switched lanes with. Anyway, just telling my story. I will find another oil change place for all of my future needs. ThanksService: Oil change
