I pulled up at 4pm with my check engine light on and car shaking. The owner offered to do same day repair, but couldn t get parts in until next day. Since I had to be on the road at 6 am the next morning and couldn t wait for parts, he did a free diagnostic and explained how I could do it myself if I really needed to hit the road before he could get to it.Awesome guy! Very nice Rottie!

Kevin is honest, and quick. He has taken care of me and my 2006 2500HD for over 10 years now and it s still running like a top!

Kevin is always super nice. And honest as the day is long. Last time we saw him because my check engine light was on. He diagnosed the problem and told me what to do (in this case go get a factory gas cap) and didn't charge me, because he didn't complete the repair.He is prompt and professional.

Love this place. Kevin is hands down the he beat in the area. Honest, fair, and gets straight to it. Took my jeep in and he took a look called like he said he would told me what he thought the issue was and even gave me a few options.

My car shows overheating notice and asks me to drive moderately. I stop for a couple minutes and when I start again, the gage goes down to normal. I took it to horizon auto in rockwall and they told me the problem was with the thermostat. For about 1100 they said they replaced the thermostat and flushed the radiator. Shortly after picking up the car, the same problem happened. Took it back and they told me IT was the head gasket and quoted me over $5000. I took it to Kevin and he replaced the water pump the very next day and problem fixed. I recommend this guy. He s HONEST and a GOOD mechanic.Services: Transmission, Exhaust, Auto engine diagnostic, Air conditioning

Kevin has serviced all my vehicles for the last 10-12 years. The fact that he has done them that long is a testament to what I feel like is his professionalism in in the auto repair business. I find him to be honest and up front about the price of his services and I have had to wait for him to get to my vehicle a few times but I attribute that to other people see him as I do and him being busy because of it. My experience at KATC has been absolutely phenomenal. Kevin is an honest, down to earth, genuine mechanic who I feel truly has your best interest in heart. Fair prices and he doesn't try to sell you into extra things you don't need. I had to drop my car off to get some repairs done and he personally took me home while he worked on my car and picked me up with my car after he was done! I will 100% most definitely be going back here and everyone else should too!

Kevin is great. I highly recommend this shop. I had a complicated horn repair and it took some serious digging because it was electrical. I needed my car for work and he was able to patch it up for the day and I returned my car the next morning for continued repair. Hes very kind and knowledgeable. He noticed some things moved around (from previous repairs elsewhere) and fixed them up as he ran into them. Any future repairs, I ll be back without a doubt!

I really can t say enough about Kevin. Like most people, I m extremely dependent on my car and I ve not always been in a good financial state to handle a visit to a repair shop. But Kevin is the only mechanic who s ever looked out for ME AND my vehicle.My entire family now goes to him and I always recommend him to everyone! He s the mechanic you dream of that will always tell you the truth and will give his expert opinion on spending your money wisely and you always leave with peace of mind your car has been fixed. I can t count the number of times I d gone to my car dealership back in the day or a tire shop for a specific replacement and left with a list of recommended and urgent repairs needed. I d go to Kevin and he d explain and discuss all the issues they listed. Often their recommendations were BS, trying to make money off my lack of knowledge. Sometimes it would be a relevant repair but not as dire as they made it sound like and of course, it was always more expensive than what Katc would charge me.I moved to Dallas years ago and I still drive out to Rockwall for all my concerns and repairs. He kept my 240,000 mile, 15 year old Nissan Murano running well beyond what I thought it could and was in good condition when I finally sold her all thanks to Kevin. I shed some good tears saying goodbye to that trusty vehicle.Kevin isn t just a skilled mechanic. He s got a heart of gold! I came into his shop ten years ago looking for a trustworthy mechanic and left making a new friend. Thank you so much Kevin! It can t be overstated how grateful I am.

Everyone hates to have to take their car in for repairs, but KATC makes it painless. Kevin is clear and concise with diagnosis, doesn't try to get "add ons", his pricing is terrific. He saved the day for my son and there are just no words to express how much we appreciate him. THE best experience having a car repaired I have ever had. Would I recommend him? ABSOLUTELY! Kevin, Thank you so much for getting the car running so quickly! We will be calling on you for any future repairs!

Involved in all types of car club charities and events.He is a really good person to support and network with, my brother sent me to him as I am a Art Car Artist and had a old van that I painted and love, needed a van Dr. Lol, he has taken excellent care of me in the last 18 months!Houston Art Car Parade, here we come!

Kevin is a very nice mechanic. My belts broke on my VW twice. He figured out the problem and fixed it. My a.c. is also working better and I can tell it's driving smoother. Thank you Kevin!

We live about 40 minutes away, but we have opted to use KATC for our vehicle repairs. You can t find anybody more honest and trustworthy, so the distance is worth it. If you live close, it should be a no-brainer. Highly recommend.

Been 4 times and you can still hear me coming a mile away with my brakes!! My brakes actually locked up a couple of times!! Didn't waste my time to call, because I knew I would get the same response!! Every time I've contacted there was...I've got a lot of work, but my husband paid for a job to be done!! I just gave up!!

Another shop did a botched brake job, Kevin fixed same day. Had another problem with the car Kevin later(transmission), Kevin doesn't do transmission work but looked at car, found problem and didn't charge me a dime. Will always use Katc in the future.

Best mechanic in texas, took my dodge ram to him for a/c repair... had my truck back same day and truck is like an ice box. Kevin I cant thank you enough for getting my truck back freezing me out again lol
