I came in today for a diagnosis. Mind you I called before I drove usimy gas after they said first come first serve. Just only 15 minutes to get here and the boss said that was done taking any more customers and to come back tomorrow morning. Mind you. I drove my car running hot taking a chance to get it fixed. Bad service (communication with customers before they wast gas to come to the business)

Terrible experience, my family is new to the Waco area and Texas as a whole, just needed to know a few simple things about the car registration processes and inspections but either we were wasting their time or they were above the basic hospitality. Either way, not happy with how my family was treated and will not be using their services.

They were honest with me, I went to get an oil change and they noticed on my sticker that it wasn't quite time to get it changed, they told me that I had another 3100 miles to go for another oil change and that the people who performed my previous oil change didn't reset the mileage in my car. They could have went on and did it and took my money but they gave me the option to wait or proceed, and I really appreciated that.

I love patronizing this business! I have been coming here for many years & the staff are always very friendly & professional. I super love the fact my Mercedes can be serviced here it is very convenient . Ms Melanie(sorry if misspelled) thank you for being so personable & I always love catching up with you. Always friendly good service. We always get our oil changes and inspections here. Went today for diagnostic, the codes kept changing so they recommended taking it to the dealership and didn't charge me for the diagnostic like most shops would have. Highly recommend.

Took my car and are the check engine light on I just bought and tell me that they couldn't find anything wrong with it two hours later check engine light comes back on is doing the same thing

We always take our cars in for inspections. They have great customer service. The young lady working the desk has worked at Precision for years and she's always so nice. Their business is always very clean. They do have an outside area for the ones not wanting to sit inside while their cars are being serviced. We highly recommend Precision Tune. We will definitely keep using them.

Precision Tune is great! I've had them do several repairs for me. They're honest and reasonably priced. Everyone is very friendly and personable. I also use them for state inspections on all my vehicles. I highly recommend them.

Let's just say they tried to charge me for service over the weekend and I drove my car off with the engine lights still on ,the reduced power warning is still on unless they did something to it while I waited for them to pull it around..Yes I did not pay , but why should I? The car never got fixed the 7 times that I've came. Then he got mad and slammed the keys, real professional sir!Service: General repairs & maintenance

We've tried using this business multiple times over the past year for our inspections, but they always have some weird excuse as to why they don't want to. Today it was because the ground was wet. The next place I called laughed and said that was the stupidest thing he'd ever heard. I agree. We won't even consider using this business again.Service: Vehicle Inspection

First time using this location great people, was able to get in fast and they fixed my issue. Melody was a great resource at the front she was upbeat and friendly with all of the customers. Great to have this type of person in your business. I would recommend this to all of my friends.

This is the only shop that has ever worked on any of my cars in Waco Texas. Lawrence was the mechanic that took care of me and he is awesome. I came in the other day for a tire rotation and he saw both rear struts was blown. Happy he saw that cause all the rain we been having. Came in this morning and he had me in and out in under 40 mins. Plus my car drives so much better. Thank you again Lawrence I really Appreciate it.Service: General repairs & maintenance

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!I brought my truck to them to have the manifold replaced because the mechanic Marvin said I needed a new one after doing a diagnostic . He quoted me on a price and told me how much the labor would be and all. I agreed to the price for parts and labor. After I personally ordered the manifold for $182 he tells me the manifold is good and doesn't need to be replaced, that the problem was something else. Long story short I was charged $487 and my car is running horribly with a loud sound coming from under the hood and I can't drive it long . distance because it sputters and almost dies.I spoke to Tanner the owner and he was rude and basically told me they fixed not what I wanted them to fix but what they wanted to fix, and I quote "We don't work for free we have to make money" Rude, unprofessional, and I wouldn't recommend anyone to take their vehicles there.As you can see from his response he is still rude! Yes my truck is 16 years old. And the wiper blades and the other things that were replaced was because I got an inspection done at the time of service and those items were recommended by Marvin which I was double charged for. So please get your information correct.I ordered the manifold and it was not used or sent back and I didn't get refunded for that charge, just charged for a lot of miscellaneous items.Thank you but there is nothing I would love to discuss with you TANNER your business is horrible and your personal Customer service skills are terrible. Just wanted to let everyone know that your comments below are lies.

Customer service is NOT dead! Owner Jeff Tanner and his crew were awesome and very down to earth. They took the time to fully explain the AC problem my car was having and fixed it, while I waited. This type of repair really lends itself to the shady and unscrupulous mechanic. It would have been super easy to BS and pad the bill. The dealership wanted nearly five times what I paid to PTAC. Jeff only repaired what was needed and then gave me instructions on how to maintain and troubleshoot any future problems! Incredible service! I will be back and will tell everyone I know. Great job guys. Thank You!

They were fast, professional and explained everything to me in words I understood, their front desk lady Melody did everything in her power to get a copy of my insurance card for inspection. Their techs were friendly and very courteous to my concerns!

I love this place ! I go here for all my oil changes , the crew here is professional and quick ! They also check all the bells and whistles and let you know if something is going on with your car . Id definitely recommend this place to anyone !!

I was extremely disappointed by my vehicle inspection Friday at Precision Tune Auto Care. After an hour + wait, I received�a phone call letting me know that my car isn't passing inspection�due to Improper switching indication of the Beam Indicator, dysfunctional�stop lamp and a missing license plate lamp.When I asked about the costs, the lady on the�phone explained that in order to fix these they must run first a further electrical inspection�(at a cost of $95 an hour) just to diagnose the problem, and then there will be further costs to fix these of course. When I asked why there's a need for this extra electrical inspection she explained that there are clearly some�electrical wiring issues in my car that require further special electrical inspection,I thought it was a bit odd and decided to get a second opinion at the Firestone around the corner. There the mechanic inspected my car and informed me that all that was needed was to replace the light bulbs in the license plate lamp and to tighten up a slightly loose wire for the stop light (he said it seems like someone yanked it out of place). When I asked about the beam indicator he said that's not even a thing and that my indicator works fine.Save yourself the hassle and money and don't go to�Precision Tune Auto Care!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I've done business with Precision Tune for 3-4 years. They are very experienced, professional, reasonably priced. I highly recommend them for all your auto repair needs.

I never had a problem with Precision Tune. In Killeen or Waco Tx. Any parts I bring them, they are more than happy to put it on my truck. They even tell me if anything else may be wrong while they are doing repairs. And the best part is. I'm still rolling!

First off, the woman at the front counter NEVER smiled. Second, they told me the price for my transmission flush would be almost TRIPLE what the price is stated on their pricing board. I even called ahead of time and told them the make, model and year of my car and the price was no different than what was stated on the pricing board. Third, after sitting there for almost an hour and half they told me they couldn't flush the transmission after all because they needed a "special part". If not for the inspection I also had done it would be a total waste of time. This people seem like total bozos and I wouldn't trust them. I'll NEVER go back to this place!

Took my car in approx. 2 weeks ago for airconditioner repair. Left it there for a week due to my work hours (was told by management that this is best because this allowed them to put it on 'machines' to analyze the problem).On the drive home I noticed that it still was not cooling. Phoned Precision the following Mom. to let them know and was instructed to bring it back.Took it back today. Waited approx. 1 and 1/2 hours then was told that it needed a fan for the condenser, an additional 230-250 dollar fee. I had already paid $1334.56 and was told at that time that the air was "blowing cold".I have checked with other shops and was told that using the condensor without the fan can result in additional problems. They marked on the bill that they had checked the condensor fan. Precisions's tech. stated that it had broken since I picked the car up.I feel this is not a trustworthy shop. My best advice is Buyer Beware.
