Sonny and team were great. I was in Waco for business when the transmission went out in my truck. They had me on the road the very next afternoon. Highly recommend!Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Had my transmission rebuilt in my chevy pickup, I had an issue with it making a vibration sound after the rebuild. I dropped it off for them to check. they told me it was fine and wasn't the transmission, I'm out of warranty now, and out another transmission, if your having a 6L80 rebuilt beware.

I originally gave Oliver Brothers and Sonny five stars, because my car worked after they fixed it, and I thought that they had done a great job. But 3 weeks after getting my transmission rebuilt by Oliver Brothers, I discovered that the fluid was overfilled. I didn't expect that from a transmission specialist. I checked the fluid 3 weeks later. Sonny doesn't seem to think that overfilling a transmission with fluid is a problem. So because I do not live in Waco TX, but in another state, I asked Sonny if he would be willing to reimburse my additional expense of getting this fixed. I sent the receipts to him and a week later, at this point, have not heard back from Sonny. With tax Oliver Brothers transmission rebuild cost $1700. Plain and simple; I should not have had to purchase or fix anything after that. For that I lowered my rating to 3 stars. I'm just writing this review for awareness. I'm not trying to get even or anything, just be aware of what your buying. My transmission is working fine, thank God. it was flushed of the overfilled fluid and replaced with the proper amount of fluid. It would have been nice to have heard back from Sonny too after I presented him with the receipts,.

Put a used part into a transmission rebuild that went out a year later and was only under a 90 day warranty. Had to pay for a second rebuild. Would not recommend this shop to women because they pulled the wool over my mother and sisters eyes the first time.

I recently had a transmission failure on my car. With the car being out of town I was searching for a transmission repair shop that could handle the repairs correctly, quickly and fairly. I found all of these to be true at Oliver Brothers. They were both professional and knowledgeable in their dealing with me. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing repairs or maintenance to their vehicles. It was a real pleasure to work with this group.

These folks could not have been any more helpful. Period. My daughter was stranded on Baylor campus. I'm in Houston. Within minutes they had her towed to their shop. Diagnosed old transmission. Installed new one. Tested and found a glitch. Fixed that. All quickly, professionally, and more than fairly. Other than being Dallas Cowboys fans, I couldn't find anything wrong with them. Made me rethink my whole position on mechanics!!If your reading this, hire them now. You won't be disappointed.

Horrible service! Paid over $2,000 for a transmission rebuild and had to take car back to shop 4 times within 3 months of rebuild with warranty. Was left stranded on highway because transmission totally shut down. Sunny told us to bring car back to shop and he would fix proplem. We get the car towed back to them on our expense because Sunny said he was not responsible for getting the car back to the shop even though the work he did was what caused this to happen! We waited another week of it in the shop because they said it had to be totally rebuilt once again. This time when we recieved the car back, it was making a loud whining noise coming straight from the transmission! Once we showed up at the shop again the next day, Sunny said at this point it was not his responsibility anymore..and there was nothing else he could do for us. So there goes $2000 down the drain..and still have the same exact problem! I took the car for a second opinion somewhere else and was told the transmission needed to be rebuilt. Once again.. After Sunny claimed to have rebuilt it 3 times total in 3 or 4 months! Do not waste your money here!

They are an upstanding company! Honored my waranty on my rebuilt transmission. No charges incurred and several parts replaced due to part failure. I will go there anytime!

I work with my truck and it is a must that it stays on the road. They took good care of me and did the work in a timely, professional manner while keeping me in the loop at every stage of the repair.

They were not able to fix my transmission it was under warranty and still walked out paying an extra $600 for parts that were replaced and I was not even aware of either way my transmission was never fixed. Do not recommend don't waste your money.

I used this guys for my new brakes and oil change, extremely happy with the customer service and their thoroughness. Explained what I needed and showed me, I would definitely recommend them!!
