Spoke with the owner, who explained that the aftermarket smaller nuts are, in fact, both safer and the standard for most, if not all, tire companies. They do provide a special key to be used to remove them when you need to. This place is great and fairly quick at fixing issues. Definitely recommend them.

Brandon and team are amazing! I noticed some sidewall cracking on my tires and came in to get their opinion, nothing more. Brandon noticed they were K2s from 2020 timeframe and remembered there was a warranty recall on them so he checked to see if I qualified. Not only that but after confirming I qualified, he got me in within 15 minutes on a Thursday afternoon. What started as a fact finding mission turned into 4 new tires and 2 new TPS sensors in 30 minutes. I am very impressed by this team and will certainly be continuing to use them for my family's tire needs.

Very knowledgeable staff, I didn't feel pressured to purchase more than I needed for my vehicle. As long as you make an appointment they will service your vehicle in a timely manner. They are always very busy.

Yesterday I found my old Volvo with a flat tire. Ugh! Discount Tire was able to save tire with a repair. Thank you for helping me. You all were great!

I have been using discount tires since the early 2000 s as they were the only place I could get tires for my vehicle at the time. I will no longer give them by business. I came in a few months ago to get 2 new tires for my Chevy Malibu and ordered the ones I had on the vehicle from the website. Then it became a literal phone tag and was told that they didn t have the tire I ordered in stock. In addition they didn t even bother to actually change the order to something they did have in stock. Spent an entire week being told multiple stories about what they were going to place on the car. Got to the store for my appointment and didn t even bother telling me what they had in stock and ultimately put on completely different tires that were cheaper and didn t even have the guts to give me a refund for the amount I was owed AND never got a call back from the manager about what they were going to do to correct their mess up. Shame on you discount tire for the terrible customer experience.

Tire air-check! Free of charge!The other day; they installed my locking lug-nuts for me...I didn't even buy them from Discount Tire, but they did that for free, as well!These guys are great!Always courteous! Always friendly! Always professional!You may find a cheaper tire, some place else, but it will be a "cheaper" tire and you won't get the level of service you're looking for!Really great job, fellas!Thank you!

Rude associates. Pulled up at 5:02pm just to get air in 1 tire. All the other doors were open everyone working or standing there. A few associates walked by my vehicle several times and didn't even acknowledge I was there. Finally I rolled the window down and asked someone for Air. He responded we are closed. We close at 5pm on Saturday. Now mind you as I am sitting there I watch a guy pull up and go inside with a tire and get waited on. So it really just came down to someone was to lazy to grab an air hose. Will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

I have used discount tire since I started driving (16 years). As of today I will no longer use them. I paid for a warranty on tires after I bought a vehicle. Discount Tire did not sell me these tires, they already came on a certified pre-owned vehicle I bought, but they did inspect them and allow me to pay ~$90 for a warranty around 18 months ago. Since I had used Discount Tire for so many years (with great service) I went to them to cover this set of tires instead of the dealership that I had bought the vehicle from.The situation:I was leaving work and ran over a 1/4" drive socket extension that somehow ripped through my back driver side tire (as blunt as a socket extension is). To prevent being stranded on the side of the road I put a rubber plug into the tire and put some air in it with a compressor I had with me. The next morning I went to discount tire when they opened to have my tire repaired/replaced. When I told the employee that I put a plug in the tire to get home he said they will not cover that tire. He said they would put my spare on if I would like. I had a warranty on this tire that I paid for....and me putting a plug in it and moving on was for my safety to get off of the road the fastest way I could. If they won't replace my tire (with a warranty I paid for) over me doing what I have to get out of a dangerous situation then they are no good to me. The tire would have had to been replaced anyways because of the blunt extension that ripped a hole in the tire. That didn't matter.I have no problem paying for service....but that's what I am paying for, service. I have bought their tires and tire warranty for all of these years with no claims. When I go to use it my coverage I paid for and basically get told to kick rocks...I'm done at that point.I ended up at Wal-Mart down the road and bought 4 Goodyear 65k mile rated tires for $708 out the door (with warranties & tire lifetime balance/rotation). I would over-pay at Discount Tire thinking I would be taken care of when needed. This didn't end up being the case when I needed it. I would give 1 star, but overall their employees are typically really friendly and helpful...and they were helping customers 20 minutes before their advertised time being open.

We purchased a new set of tires online and the exchange from old worn out tires to 4 brand new tires was quick and easy!!! We were helped out by incredible staff members. Michael answered the phone and confirmed the tires were at the shop and ready to go. After arriving Dale assisted us with confirming our online reservation and taking our vehicle back. If we have any issues with our tires on our vehicle we know exactly where to go! Thanks, y'all!

This location is super busy, but everyone is helpful! Alan offered to put me in the system to save my place in line so that I could leave and come back. My flat was fixed in less than thirty minutes when I came back, which was amazing compared to experiences elsewhere.

I have had nothing but good experiences here. I have the worst luck with tires and these guys are everywhere. Felis was so helpful and everyone at this store is always so nice. I m not surprised it s always so busy and I can t say enough how grateful I am.

Price was right. Service was top notch.Making an appointment makes all the difference in the experience you will have.I had a small vibration at highway speed after I left and came back a few days later and they took care of it immediately.Now it's perfect.

Always helpful.I literally forgot to pick-up some PS4 tires for months. I finally call Waco Dr. Discount and they had a note on my purchase and they re-ordered tires. They called when they came in and two hours later, viola car and new tires are perfect. No charge.Can t say enough about the years of good service.

Staff are courteous. However there a couple of issues that will make me go elsewhere.1) if they have to order your tire you have a 2 hour wait to put it on.. You had a 2 hour wait the day before to diagnose tire problem. Returning clients should be fast tracked.2) You can only make appts 48 hours before. Tire issues are usually emergent.3)

I got great tires at a great price and they were fast and efficient. My only complaint would be that they replaced the tpms on three of my tires without telling me. My car is brand new (2023) and the sensors were fine when I arrived so I am assuming that they broke the sensors and just covered it up by replacing them. I only noticed what they had done after getting home. I just wish that they had informed me. I would have preferred OEM sensors but the ones they put in seem to work ok.

Setting an appointment online is a must at this busy location! Bought my tires on Wednesday and set my appointment for 345 on Monday. I showed up and checked in online and by 415 my car was ready. Very easy and efficient.

We bought 8 tires for 2 trucks.We had 2 appointments one at 9 am & mine at 1 o clock needless to say that when I pulled before 1 I parked next to the other truck that hasn t even been touched and then said it would be another hour before they even get to mine . It s now 3:01 and nether one has been touched. I m glad to know what my time is worth to them, what s the whole point of making an appointment if you still gotta get there 30 minutes early just so I can stand in line to get checked in the line is always packed to the door, get a row of chairs down the middle to at least give us something to sit in and please unplug the phone or turn of the ringer if it s just going to ring and ring . I had y all price match Sam s wholesale prices because I thought y all were quick but I m regretting my purchase as I feel that Sam s wholesale would have gotten me in & out and for the same price that you priced matched.If your time is worth anything go with someone who will anybody else.

I arrived at about 11:15 on a Monday, hoping to beat the lunch crowd. There were at least 8 people in line in front of me and lots waiting. I almost left but so glad I didn't. I didn't have an appt for my slow leak but I was out of there by noon. They move fast and are heavily staffed. Every person I came in contact with was super friendly and helpful. Bonus, the patch was free. They have a new customer in me.

Always recieve exceptional customer service. Recommend scheduling a time to come in if you are impatient as the location is very popular so they have a lot of customers to attend to. Keep up the good work! Y'all are great!!

I just bought five new tires and sensors for my Jeep. This place was super busy. The phone was ringing off the hook and NOT ONE EMPLOYEE was rude or short with any of the customers. The gentlemen did not talk down to ladies as is sometimes seen in auto repair facilities. In fact every customer was greeted with good southern manners. They work hard and deserve to be praised for it. Oh, and they play Jesus music in the lobby! Thx Discount Tire!

First, I went in for 2 front tires. I ended up getting sold 4 new tires. This was a Saturday. Sunday morning, my driver back tire was sitting at 16 psi. The tire would not hold air, "luckily" I bought coverage. My son brings the car in Tuesday at 3:30, they saidnit would be a few hours to check my tire. I call, speak to a Brandon, I did tell them how are they going to sell me a flat tire, then make me wait to fix it. Brandon said to bring it BACK to Waco and he would fix it in 45 minutes. My tracker is now show another 2 hour wait. I DO NOT recommend this place. Support your mom and pop shops!!! They will upcharge you, then sell you flat tires, and force you to wait to fix their mistake.

I bought my tires online. I also scheduled my appointment at the same time. When I arrived at the store I had to wait a little more than 20 minutes to Speak to associate. Then I had to wait another hour and a half plus to get my car back. Normally the stores have water or coffee to give to the people that are waiting but this one did not. The store was pretty uncomfortable and warm. It wasn't really dirty but it could have used a good cleaning. Because they had so many customers I feel like they were rushing through what they were doing, Which unfortunately Meant for me that they installed my passenger front tire incorrectly. This caused me to have a blowout going down the freeway. I was going 70 plus miles per hour and then my tire just blew out because whoever put the hub cap on didn't put it on correctly and it Broke the valve stem I believe. However, Felix came to my rescue and brought me a whole new tire and rescued me from the side of the road. Felix deserves a raise. Still I had to go back the next day to get my tire back and therefore wasted a tank of gas. When I got there the next day I had a wait in line for 53 minutes before I was able to speak to someone even though I called ahead of time. Where I was finally able to speak to someone, They did say they were going to jump me ahead in line, But it still took another 30 minutes to get my car back. I like going to discount tire they're usually really friendly and they don't talk down to women I really appreciate that. This was definitely my worst experience. But I will go back to them because I think this is a fluke. And again Felix deserves a raise. Felix is an angel.

I have been told repeatedly by some friends to take my tire that I just bought recently that I learned was used from another place in Elm Mott and w/going less than 3 miles since, that Discount Tire would fix it , no questions asked. I did not know this.But this was not the case and I can understand why. As I can imagine some may take advantage of this but not me.I got there, and went in and first of all was advised that it would be a 3 hour wait not 1/2 as advertised.Then the clerk, took my keys and check the tire as well as the other ones and my tires on this car I recently bought less than a week ago show my tires to be between 2-3 , green and red.I was advised that they could not help me and did not even offer to put air in my tire to leave the premises. I asked how much tires would be or at least one tire and told $96 for each. No other options as I was also checking the credit card application with the QR code.Pretty much felt like my car or me as a customer was not worth going the extra mile to help me. Perhaps because I mentioned also that on payday I would be getting 4 new tires at Walmart and did not mention that at Walmart the tires are $40-$45 w/guarantee.This rep here also made me feel like there was nothing else he could do for me. He was wanted to get rid of me and my problem with my flat.I do not like to give bad reviews but this is my experience, first impression and probably the last at Discount Tires, even if my monetary wealth changes one day.
