I've hesitated to write this review, but since I've already made the payment, I feel obligated to share my experience. This is going to be a lengthy post, so please bear with me.In short, my experience with Veliz Collision was highly unsatisfactory.On November 10, 2023, while preparing for the Marine Corps birthday, I had an accident involving a deer and needed my vehicle towed for repairs. I chose Veliz Collision and initially, everything appeared to be proceeding smoothly. Kassandra from the shop was communicative and helpful whenever she was present. However, problems began when she was not around.Weeks into the repair, I was informed repeatedly that essential parts had not been ordered. I eventually agreed to a substitute part of lesser quality to expedite the process, but this decision did not seem to speed things up. I found myself without a rental and had to borrow a vehicle from family.The repair shop only reached out to me when it was time to sign insurance checks for additional damages. Delays and excuses became a regular occurrence, and despite promises, the completion date kept being pushed back.When I was finally told my truck would be ready, new issues arose, such as the need for a new battery, which I ended up installing myself amidst an approaching freeze. Following this, I discovered the front camera system was non-functional, which the shop attributed to a recall issue, suggesting another party would fix their error.Additionally, my air conditioning was malfunctioning due to an unrefilled refrigerant following repairs. This, along with the front camera's improper repair (a GLUED electrical connection to the camera) discovered by a dealership mechanic, highlighted a concerning lack of attention to detail. Repairing the botched camera work cost me an additional $1,200.Throughout my ordeal, I noticed other customers receiving prompt service, which led me to believe that turnaround times could be influenced by personal connections.In conclusion:- The quality of work was subpar.- Communication was virtually non-existent.- Overall, the experience was exceedingly poor.I cannot recommend their services based on my experience.

I had just a little bumper repair done here and they did an amazing job! The customer service from this family owned business really makes you feel comfortable. I m was able to communicate through text the whole time while waiting for my car to get repaired which was really convenient and helpful. They also gave me a ride to pickup and drop off my rental. I will definitely be using and referring them in the future!

Took my X5 here after hitting a deer and messing up my front hood and grill of my car. The owner immediately looked at it and knew right away what needed to be done. Had the car in and out with no complications and the whole team was just very professional about explaining how the claim would work with the insurance and they even helped with the deductible on my end. Satisfied customer and if I ever need the service again I will definitely be returning here!Service: Body & Trim

I ve got additional damage to my vehicle than what was there and I can t get the manager to call me to discuss! I m very disappointed seeing as this shop has nearly 5 stars. I trusted them with my vehicle and it goes to show no matter how many stars your business has you can still operate as if you had 1 star. I really hope they make things right! The repairs were under my husband s name.Update!!I was tired of the mess that this place caused. There was more damage found immediately after picking up my vehicle but I would never again take my vehicle back here because I would never trust them to repair my vehicle. This company was absolutely horrible to me and my vehicle which I paid for with my hard earned money and if I can help others by telling my experience then I will.

Do not recommend they had to work on my front bumper couple times , damaged was still visible when they called me saying it was ready , second time some of the trim was not put back in place properly & even after that my front bumper was not installed right , the right corner of the front bumper was not clipped in right so I had to clip it in myself at home & it doesn t stay clipped in. Also my drivers side headlight needed to be replaced due to damage , they replaced it & something is wrong with the replacement because is nothing like the one i had & it doesn t align with my passenger side headlight no matter how much I adjust it. The shop said that that s how the light goes but my other headlight shows different. I ve had the same headlight replaced before & it looked nothing like now , so my light is still messed up. Took them nearly a month just to do a bad job

Chop Shop.WARNING DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. They will part your vehicle out and swap with cheaper used parts. Called police, and Victoria City Police Department is aware of their frauds, this isn t their first job like this. Don t believe? Call Non Emergency Number and ask.

The whole family is super nice and I have friends who have had their vehicles done here. They treat people the way they would want to be treated. My friends were super satisfied with the work they did, the finishing touches were superb. Great work completed by great people!

They do good work here. I sort of hit a gas pump a few wedks ago so needed to get my taillight fixed. First visit I paid for item and was told to await their call once part came in. Sure enough a few days later I got call went by and in less than 15 minutes it got fixed! They even held on to my credit card when I silly me left it behind lol. I went back the next day to get it!

I have used VLZ for many years on dozens of vehicles and they have never been anything less than upfront, honest and professional. If you want grrat work from honest people, this is your place! Can't say enough about this family-owned, local business. Did I mention that they waive our insurance deductible every time?! Beware: They kept my truck for 10 months, constantly telling me that truck was being repaired only to find truck in high grass after 8 months. Also made repairs without my consent. Overcharged me as well.

VLZ did a fantastic job on my car, super friendly and awesome customer service, felt like family from the time I walked in the door to when I picked up my car. The job they did on the car was phenomenal, looked brand new to me. I will definitely be doing all my business with them! If you bring your vehicle here you will not be disappointed!

I should have written this review 4 years ago when this all happened.Short version:VLZ Collision on Salem road ripped me off. They wasted my time and money and didn't even fix my car.Long version:If you have anything more than a small dent, I'd advise you to stay away. Probably shouldn't trust VLZ with the small dent either.I would've been better off burning thousands of dollars and taking a sledgehammer to my own car. At least I'd have had the enjoyment of hitting my car with a sledgehammer and a nice fire; instead of wasting money paying VLZ to NOT fix my vehicle after a long and drawn out process.Here's how it began: A wild hog ran in front of my car when I was on my way to work at 5am. I chose VLZ Collision because Toyota wouldn't fix it and VLZ seemed to be reputable.First they said all it needed was a new compressor. No problem. They said it would cost extra to fix the small cosmetic damage. I declined the cosmetic repair. Like a week later...Now it needs a new radiator. Ok.More time passed..."It needs a new head gasket." That later turned into "it needs a whole new engine." I had already sunk money in so I sadly went along with it because they said they could fix it. It was a mistake to agree to more "repairs." I should have cut my losses after they said head gasket. But at the time I just really needed my car back to get to work and finish college.Very shortly after getting my car back I would get stuck going 2mph, during traffic, at lights, etc. So my car now had really horrible acceleration, the AC blew hot and many other major problems. Very unreliable and unsafe.(Before the accident and VLZ, my car worked great. No problems.)So I took my car back to their shop. When I got it back from them (deja vu), the car still had the same problems. It would overheat now too. Even short trips were hard on it. There were even more problems I did not mention.So after a ton of money, over like 2 months of waiting, and many phone calls to VLZ...I had an unsafe, unreliable vehicle that a tired snail could beat in a race.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

I love going to VLZ collision and automotive. Every time I go they give me great service and they always have a great attitude.I needed to get tie rods put in on Both the driver and passenger side and each one was supposed to take an hour. Well the mechanic got done in head of time so I told him about a ball joint I had that been sitting in my car and asked him if he can replace it.With no hesitation he agreed to get it done with out a problem.I recommend going to them.Thank you so much VLZ Collision and Automotive.

10/10 will definitely recommend VLZ collision to anyone i come across needing any type of vehicle work done! From the beginning speaking with Kassandra Veliz and getting everything set up because this was my first car accident I was a little clueless to seeing the final product my experience was amazing! They kept me updated on the estimated time of completion on my vehicle, when parts were ordered and put on. They got things fixed and taken care of in such a great timely matter. We were told our paint job would take two weeks it took almost 2 months. We were promised almost every day that it would be ready that week and it never was. We were never given any updates until the last week and that was because I insisted they call me with updates every day. They broke our radio antenna and just left the broken piece in the truck without acknowledging they had broken it. I will NEVER use them again. They ruined what should have been an incredible gift experience for my fiance.Service: Painting

Extremely nice and knowledgeable staff. Knew exactly what needed to be done and they give very reasonable estimates. Their work looks great! No matter what has happened to your vehicle it'll look good as new!

If you re wanting to get your vehicle worked on and don t mind waiting be my guest. I had an appointment to take my truck to get worked on to install some side mirrors and I had left my truck there for over 24hrs. The next day I called to check on the status and they told me it will be ready at 4pm. I go there only to find my truck wasn t touched at all and they said they were backed up on cars and to bring it in another day. Meanwhile I was without a car, catching rides and missing work. Won t be coming back.

My girlfriend wrecked her 2016 Dodge Journey and VLZ replaced the whole front end and helped me out with a brand new windshield. Paint job looks amazing very nice shine and was done when truck was expected to be ready. Keep up the amazing paint work guys!!

I have taken several of my cars here to either get custom painted or body work done. It always comes out great. This is the only shop I will take my car. I have been to other shops and have had nothing but problems with those other shops. If you want it done the right the first time this is the place.

Fantastic customer service! Cassandra really helped me through the whole process and made it much easier. The shop did excellent work on my car after I hit a deer. Everything looks brand new. Absolutely recommend!

My husband and I are in Victoria from West Virginia and we re having truck issues...VLZ was very kind and understanding! They also took the time to listen to what I had to say and explained everything to me and answered every question I had. Most shops treat me like I m stupid because I m a girl this shop did not. I HIGHLY recommend these wonderful people:)
