Pretty good store similar to the critter store lol. Yet it's a cute store can't really say abt their own food because I didn't give it a try but I will when I pass by again. Yet it's nice and clean and alot of Restrooms to. Kept pretty tidy to.

As close to the famous Texas gas station as you can get. Clean, large restrooms. Tons of drink and snack selections. Only negative I can say is their sweet tea is too sweet. Great location for me since I drive from Houston to Corpus Christi frequently. This is close to the middle. The staff was nice and friendly too.

We had a bad experience, we payed for gas with debit card inside but the pump was not working and it marked like if we already had pumped it out. when we tried to explain to the staff they were rude and complaining about being the only one working there. We asked to speak with the manager and she was able to help but still customer service was very poor.

I have never stopped there before last night and with all the truck parking available I decided to try it. This place is pretty awesome, kitchen is open till 7 PM, but there is food available around the clock. Lots of drink choices, lots of snacks and lots of shopping available. Guys/truck drivers there are twice as many stalls in the restroom as there is a loves truckstop, and the food is better. Please all you trashy disgusting disrespectful truck drivers go somewhere else else. This place is pretty nice. Store is open 24 seven. Great place to bring the wife and kids.

Great staff, super clean bathrooms, TONS of food all day and night, ridiculously great bakery (pecan covered banana muffins!!??) and state of the art lighting and soda machines. GREAT place to park your semi truck, AND: TWO obstacles courses for your dogs!!! I will make it a point to ALWAYS stop here with my pups whenever I'm in the area

Stopped in on the way up from Brownsville. Super nice stop. Just off the exit. Plenty of gas pumps. . Auto deisel at every pump. And big rig pumps out back. Souvenirs .tshirts. hats. Hot food. Tacos . Pizza. Dining area. Walk in beer cooler.

Yall I loved this place! Nice little gem we found on our way to Houston. Definitely recommend everything is very nice. The restrooms super clean the food was delicious especially the bbq sandwiches! We will be stopping here when we travel up north for sure! 10/10

Store was clean and well stocked. Now,the dog park was a great place. I thought it was so fab of the Texan to have a safe place for the dogs to play. I will say the patrons who do not clean up after their pups should feel shame , to take advantage of such a nice gesture, and then ruin it for others.

The store looked good. Excellent drink and road snack selection. Customer service was a little lacking. What really got me was I went in at around 4:30pm, and grabbed a bowl from the hot box. When I went to open it, I noticed the fries were stale, the hushpuppies may as well have been pebbles, and the timer on the ticket said, "Enjoy before 1:30pm". Needless to say, I was feeling nauseous on my long drive home.

A very good copy of the friendly beaver store. Huge place with lots of stuff. They have jerky but they don't make any themselves but they do have Praseks which is very good. Clean restrooms. Lot's of good coffee to choose from. We'll definitely stop again

Ok! This place is away! It s like mini buccees! You Texans we love buccee. This place has Everything you need but better cause they let truckers park here! In my book that s amazing and friendly. They have all types of food.

Nice little truck stop to take a break and grab a snack. It's basically a baby fake buc-cees. But it has clean bathrooms, huge food selection and friendly staff. Would definitely stop again if ever traveling through the area.

Not buc-ees or anything close to it. Don t listen to other reviews. Pros are a dog park and semi/large truck friendly. Cons are everything else. Dirty bathrooms. Dog park had poop everywhere to the point where our dogs couldn t play there. We let the cashier know and he just nodded and said nothing. Everything is more expensive than their nicer cousin and all products for sale in there are basically generic brand. Very little in house products. Fresh food was just okay. Definitely not worth the cost. Just find a buc-ees or go to an actual truck stop.

Good location and amazing choices from freshly made salads and fruits to hot food choices. Wonderful service and a nice feeling when others take time to help and answer questions with awesome recommendations on things to try. New favorite spot to stop at when passing through.

Brand spanken new come on down Texans and get all the food and snacks and while your at it fule up your 4 wheeler or even your big truck plus they have DEF and plenty of parking for big trucks keep up the great work Texan

Great flavored ice tea selection and on the menu they have good catfish, kolaches, pizza, burgers, and sandwiches. They certainly give Bucees a run for their money!!

Stopped here a few weeks ago driving thru. Big fan of The Texan chain. This is a good one but the restrooms need some work.

I like this place it's like a Buccees but not as big, but their coffee is delicious and they have alot of great stuff in there to look at and buy.

Burger was fresh hot and delicious. I added their green salsa before every bite and it made it even better. Bathrooms were spotless, and convenience store and drink options were pretty big. Will be back every chance I get.

Nice newer store with gas and treats. It is pretty much a duplicate of Bucee s in my opinion but they do not compare in cleanliness of the restrooms which is a trademark of Bucee s. I would definitely stop here again just hope it is cleaner next time.

No coffee and bad customer service girls behind register fat one ans one with bad teeth luckily Manager on duty was able to handle receipt issues I would not stop here again for diesel fuel

Was great when first opened for some time. Coffee started failing to be fresh or even available. Potato wedges were cold. Not hot. Not warm. Cold. Now waiting for order and computer failed and they neglected to notify waiting customers or cashiers.

This place sucks ! Waited over 30 minutes for food, never got our food because they didn't make it. Then took another 10 minutes to figure out how to refund my money for the food we never got. Just go to Bucess we're they train the employees properly!
