They are awesome! We were on our way to Port Aransas from Dallas, when our Transsmission failed. They help tow and gave us electricity while we stayed there. They fixed our transmission and did a great job. I recommend

Updated review: a year ago they got me on the road after a transfer case and differential failure but a month ago transfer case started whining and leaking all over. Turns out t-case clutch failure not even 5k miles later, maybe because they used transmission fluid in a picky transfer case (they said they would use right stuff when I asked). Tried to reach out within warranty and didn t hear anything back. Careful with 4x4 stuff.

I took my wife s car into Ramirez Transmission Shop to have her transmission replaced because it went out on her. We found that Mr. Ramirez was fair honest and trustworthy. He was able to get her car out of the shop in a timely manner and kept her updated on everything that was going on. So if you need transmission repairs or replacement I would highly recommend Ramirez Transmission Shop.

Took my car there a couple of years ago to get repaired. Got it back and they stone a lot of brand new parts I had on the car and switched them out with old ones including a battery I had just bought. Don t trust them. I had to bring receipts for the parts to be reimbursed for them. And you can t find my name in your records because I married since then and to be more specific it was 2018.

Let me start by saying these guys are great. We did have one heck of a horror show getting my car fixed but it was no fault of their's. They kept us informed of everything going on and what they were doing to get it taken care of. They even let me borrow a personal truck of theirs to take my wife to Sugarland for surgery. That is way above and beyond taking care of your customers. I would highly recommend them because of the great customer service.

This place was rude, gave an attitude and got offended when we asked simple questions about their diagnosis. Took my girlfriends car in to have a small shutter checked out. The guy at the front desk (Al I believe) called back to say it needed a new transmission. When I asked him about what they checked and how they concluded that we need to spend $5k+ on a new transmission, he told me that the owner has 50 years experience and that s what he diagnosed. When I asked him about the fluid levels, etc he became rude and asked what I was trying to get at . I politely told him that I was just trying to get on the same page of understanding, to which he started giving me more attitude, the same explanation that the owner has been doing this for 50 years, and that if we wanted to second guess that, we should take our business elsewhere. We picked up the car and are taking it somewhere more professional and who can answer simple questions rather than simply stating how long they have been in business.Edit: Ended up getting the transmission done at a dealership, including a 3 year warranty good at any GM dealership nationwide, for less than what they were charging for just the transmission.

Cannot say enough good things about the owner and employees at this shop. They went out of their way to rescue us after a transmission breakdown on the hwy. Had us back on the road in under an hr at a great price. They were truly lifesavers...

If you have transmission problems, THIS is the place to go. Super friendly and very nice. They get your vehicle back to you when they promised. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. B B is very helpful. Thanks BB and staff.

They were very polite..fast on the service..I was expecting a much hire bill for a rebuilt transmission n installation not even close..great shop..I do recommend this company...thanks Ramirez trans. service...n got a ride home when I dropped my vehicle off too..imagine that...

Place is terrible I walked in to see everyone drinking and partying not working on a single thing and the man told me he was too busy drinking his beer to come outside and look at my truck he wanted me to Try again in the morning

I have an older vehicle that needed transmission and air conditioning. Repairs, they was able to fix the problem at a reasonable cost and all repairs were guaranteed

Switch out my new battery with an old battery and took parts off my car and put old ones on it. I have receipts for all the stuff they took.
