I took my car to Firestone for brake service and to figure out what was going on with my tire. This shop is phenomenal they figured out what was going on quickly and had it fixed by the next day! They probably would have fixed it same day but they had to order parts! Great store, great price, great folks working there! Would absolutely come back!

The sales associates were friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful. The customer service that I received was some of the best I have ever experienced since starting my customer experience with Firestone, which has been several years. These employees could provide training to other locations on providing high quality customer service. Very well done!

I'm not sure if this store is under new management or what, but service has markedly improved. Before, when you dropped a vehicle off, it woulld take them all day to get to it. The last time I dropped one off, it was ready in a reasonable time vs. waiting on it. Both service items were covered by an extended warranty. I didn't even have to remind them when I picked up the vehicle. The only thing I miss is the open wi-fi they used to offer for waitng customers. It helps pass the time and lets the customer be productive.

Every time I ve been here, it s been a Saturday, extremely busy & I ve been there a minimum of a couple hours. What people in the reviews fail to realize is this shop is ALWAYS busy. Just because YOU have an emergency incident or an appointment, doesn t mean someone else doesn t take precedence. Most of the people leaving negative reviews want immediate attention then flock to google when they don t get it. Saw it first hand today while I was there. These guys are always patient with me, knowledgeable about my vehicle & don t treat me like an idiot when I have questions about things I don t know.

Traveling to an Astros game in Houston and we noticed a noise coming from the bottom of the engine. Stopped by Firestone to check it out. It was a loose plastic cover over the oil pan. They gave little regard and used plastic tie downs instead of securing it properly. 15 minutes down the road it started again. Just decided to continue after I looked and saw it wasn't coming off and no exposure to sensative parts. No big deal. It didn't come off. Made it to Houston and back to Brownsville. I feel like they let me down as I expect more from Firestone. Assured me that it would hold. I knew better but said whatever. I am just happy it wasn't serious. I just felt like they were trying to get me out of the door.

Went for a 29.99 job. At the end I had to pay 49.99.Now my vehicle is making a noise.It wasn't there before.

Couldn't tell me how much it would cost just to put on 4 shocks on my 4x4 Chevy. Needless to say I didn't let them work on my truck. If you cant tell how much it cost for a basic job like putting on shocks then you dont get my money. He told me they wouldn't know until they got in there and saw what was wrong. Hello sir I told you what I wanted, I didn't need you to build up a bunch of extra stuff that didn't really need to be done. So I just replaced them myself. Stay away from this place specially if you don't know anything about working on vehicles.Update 11-29-23I didn't see that guy there anymore today. Zachary was courteous and very quick to do my inspection. Firestone, you have regained my trust.

Poorly managed. Employee and manager having multiple conversations while I m sitting in the lobby waiting on a valve stem replacement on a tire. After 55 mins they started working on my tire, when I asked why they couldn t get to my tire first since I was actually waiting on tire I was told that s not how we do it here If a job takes 15 mins to do, seems like you could take care of waiting customer first if it s just a quick fix. Only reason I came here for fix is because we purchased tires here. I wont be back again for anything. I m sure the employees here won t give a flip about this review because the attitude of employees these days is that they just work there but the owner should.

Had a object in my tire and the young man claimed I had to buy a new tire. I completed the process to purchase. My husband said take it to Llantas, fixed it for 15 bucks instead of 177 bucks. Won't trust them to do my vehicle again.

I stopped without calling for Inspection sticker @ 7:45 am. wow checked me in and I'm waiting for 8am . I asked if they sold Tire Gauge? Guess what he gave me for free.. Yay

The people here are thorough and professional while still being kind and thoughtful. It's a shame that this location had only one mechanic. They could do so much more for the community with more staff.

I came in for state inspection and it did take awhile but that's BC my windshield wipers weren't up to par and they had to wait for them to come in. I didn't mind as I was catching up on reading. They also said I had a hose situation but it was nearing lunchtime so I left but felt they did good work.

Nice staff, but spent 3 hours for an oil change that I had scheduled!Update: As I m getting an oil change somewhere else, it s brought to my attention that a piece for the oil filter is missing. I was told that this is something they wouldn t have missed, so they either lost it or didn t bring it to my attention and were content to let my engine not operate correctly. I will never use this location ever again. I only wish I could give zero stars.

Brought my truck into today for an oil change. I have to say, Stephanie at the front desk is awesome. These guys are authentic and straightforward. Would definitely suggest trying this place and see what you think.

Terrible customer service and unexplainable, inexcusable wait times.Excessive wait time with absolutely no communication. I made an appointment for noon to get my tires changed two days prior to appointment date. I made an appointment because this location didn t have all four, two here, two at the Rio Grande location. When I arrived, it took 10 minutes for someone to check me in. After getting checked in, the employee called the other location to have the tires delivered. I was told that all four tires would be at this location at the time of my appointment. They were not. TWO AND A HALF HOURS LATER I m still waiting for them to finish. All I got done was the changing of my tires, that s a 30-40 minute job MAX. Not a single employee came out to inform me of the progress on my car or how long it would take.I m not the only person to experience this. There were customers who were there before I arrived, who were getting a lot less done, and were still there when I left. One customer came in at 10 AM and didn t leave until well after 12. Absolutely ridiculous.

$180 for oil change and windshield wipers! This was a horrible experience. Called ahead several times for diagnostic pricing and was told it was free. Then I m there and they said it was $100! Did a general engine check though. Had an appointment and it still took 3 1/2 hrs. Then they didn t top off ANY of my fluids and they let me drive off with a nail in my tire and my check tire pressure light on! I went somewhere else to have my tire checked (it was at 12 psi). They had their chance. They never found the issue I was asking about in my car either. The tech that checked my car was so lazy that I now feel unsafe and have to get a 2nd opinion. I ll pay the new mechanic the diagnostic charge though. At least they told me about it!

I cant speak for Prior to 2018, but I do my best to get you guys in and out in a timely manner and when I am there I try to make sure that everyone is taken care of in the most fun, friendly, and professional way. I had a bad experience at a different repair shop, and came here to try and get the situation remedied. They went above and beyond to make it right, and even apologized for the poor service we experienced at the other shop. Chris was wonderful, treated me with respect and courtesy the entire time, and I would definitely recommend this location for auto repairs.

I've been here since 8:30 am and still waiting. Getting a car inspection, it was inspected after 2 hours. I was not informed, still sitting until I asked about it, then they stated I needed wiper blades. ok you can put them on, still taking over an hour waiting so far. Its only one other person waiting for a couple of hours. The girl at the counter acted like she didnt want to talk to me. Not customer service friendly. Just think it is 12:05pm and they still have my car...oh wait it's ready, only 3 hours and 35 minutes. Won't be back here!

Good folks, done business with the other Firestone in town but needed work on a Sunday. They fixed what was wrong and found then showed me and fixed other issues that are important. With a new used vehicle I was prepared for significant cost, but instead was reasonable. Wait was a little long but as a former gearhead sometime it takes longer to do it right. Definitely going back when needed

Do not take your vehicle here .If you have a problem more difficult to solve than a flat tire. They will say they fixed the problem, And that they replace something and say oh it's under warranty then to go find out that only the useless thing that they replace is under warranty. Then I tried to go to another Firestone and they tell me they can't Get involved because they don't know what the initial problem was well neither does the one by 5 points .I cannot stress this enough do not take your vehicle here if you have a major problem!!!!!!!!!

If you need your car repaired or need new tires.. this is the place to go. The customer service is amazing and the mechanics are fantastic! They are knowledgeable and honest! This is the only place I will take my cars. They treat me like family every time I go in!

I had my tires changed last weekend on November 2nd with new firestone tires.. I had an appointment at eight that Saturday morning. My truck was not pulled into the shop until almost ten in the morning. There was only two other people in firestone that morning. I was not out of firestone until one in the afternoon. The only reason why I am giving them one star is because the guy at the front was very nice and understanding. I made my appointment a week before and when I showed up, asked to see the tires they brought tires that would NOT fit on my truck. The associate agreed and went to his computer. Even though at the time he put me first.. My estimate went up almost $600 dollars because an associate made the wrong estimate . My point is, I made an appointment and they still took almost two hours to even get in the shop. I missed almost a whole days work because they took half the day when I had an appointment already scheduled.
