Stayed here for both eclipses (Oct 2023 & April 2024). This park can accommodate tents to big rigs. We have a large Class A and had plenty of room. They are pet and kid friendly. There was excellent star gazing and eclipse viewing on both occasions. Many travelers from a variety of states were booked. On our second stay, there was a music artist who entertained us with an outdoor session. He was great. Staff are friendly, and the general store has a good selection of items. A food truck has been on site at least one day of our stay each time. The river is across the road, and you can walk/hike around it. The RV park is also a short distance from Lost Maples State Park for a nice hike. It is a very quiet, relaxing park. We will definitely stay here again.

This is the second time staying here. Amazing place to stay and relax. Showers get nice and hot. We stayed on a RV lot and a campsite right next to each other. Parked the bikes on the RV lot, set up the tents on the campsite. It was perfect. Since the last time staying here, they have vamped up the place with more benches, firepits, and the grass even looks greener. Everyone is very respectful and friendly. We will always stay here when we plan to ride the Twisted Sisters, and would definitely recommend to anyone!

I was lucky to get a spot at the last moment due to cancelations. Had a great time. Staff was super friendly. We had a few clouds the day of the eclipse, but were able to see it through totality before the thick clouds rolled in. The clouds actually made the pictures look more dramatic.

Beautiful and serene!The cabins are quaint and clean. This is a great place to go for a quiet getaway with your significant other or for a family adventure. You'll get to see the beauty of nature, the starlit sky at night and the sun-kissed treeline in the morning. There is so much to explore! There is also a cute little store conveniently located on site for all the little essentials you may need.

This was a great experience for us! The camp grounds are well kept and the bathroom facilities are very clean! You can tell that the owners really put thought into this to make it great for everyone from RV, campers and cabin people. I highly recommend this camp site! It's close to Lost Maple State Park. It has a small country store right outside of the camp grounds with a food truck!

Spent 10 days in our RV for the 2024 eclipse. The park is quite and peaceful. The wifi was very reliable and the bathhouse was very clean. We enjoyed our stay.

This was our second stay. There is something special about this place and area. The staff are very nice and the facilities are very clean. This trip we got to see the stars and the sky was amazing out here. Will continue to want to make trips out here with our travel trailer.

We enjoyed our stay at Lost Maples Rv and Camping. The location is perfect if you are planning on hiking at the state parks in the area. It is 4 miles from Lost Maples State Park. The facilities are clean and the water pressure in the showers is amazing! The grounds have some awesome big trees and are well maintained. We will be back for sure!

We really enjoyed our stay in cabin 43! The cabin was clean and had all the basics you need. It was a quiet couple of nights in the campgrounds and we could see so many stars! The woman managing the grounds, check in, etc was very nice and available if we needed anything. Don t plan on using wi-fi for anything other than calls, text, email. The store had basic convenience and grocery items. Very close to Lost Maples State Park too. Overall excellent place and we will be back!

Last year stayed at Garner SP. This experience was much better. The owners are on top of everything they do here from the convenience store with quality gas. Tent & RV camping plus cabins to boot. The shower facility is laid out way better than State Park with plenty of room.

Nice, quiet small campground. General store & gas available on site. No playground but large, well-spaced sites in the middle of some of the best motorcycle riding in Texas.

We had a fantastic 2-day stay. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the facility was impressively clean with well-maintained camper areas. The bathrooms were spotless and well-tended. We're eagerly anticipating our next visit!

Pretty location, good sized sites, leveling no problem. Internet not that great, but Starlink works well. I enjoyed my stay, reserved for next year.

Restrooms were very clean and the park was nice and quiet. Was nice having a store right there for basic necessities. Great location for visiting Lost Maples and Garner state parks!

Great place to stay in a beautiful area. Love the proximity to Lost Maples State Park. Literally about 5 minutes away. The grounds are well kept and the showers/restrooms (bath house) was very clean and roomy. (also had hot water!) I will definitely be staying here again. Also love the fact that there is a store with gas station here, too.

Nice place, clean. Gravel pad, which was mostly level. Staff was friendly, price was decent. Full hookups, and plenty of room for my 42 rig. They have gas and diesel pumps, which were pricey but that is to be expected. Nearest other station was 23 miles...Quiet at night, but ALL DAY we got to listen to the not-so-relaxing sounds of the generator running MJ s Coney Island. (See pic) I called the office and asked about it, but was told that s how they run their trailer .We ended up leaving a day early because there are ZERO amenities, generator noise, and we had walked the Lost Maples State Natural area 2 days in a row.Not another thing to be found in the area.

As close as you can get to camping out of the park. It was a bustling place this weekend when I was there. Lost Maples RV and Camping has every RV spot filled, cabins full and camping sites too. The camping with water and electricity has hose hookups and an electrical box at each site to plug things in. The toilets are right behind the general store. There are no showers at this time. There is WiFi around the store and a food truck parked outside as well. The convenient store was closed but we could order the candy, drinks, food, etc through the window. They have everything you can think of. Great place to stay and friendly staff.

Very nice and clean campground. Very nice view with a small trail to explore up the hill. Close proximity to the state park and sabinal river.

The cabins were very clean and nicely pit together. The campsite has really spectacular views of the hillside and is a modest drive away from several attractions. Great launching pad site

This park was clean and quiet, close to Lost Maples State Park, wonderful dark skies, site was level and had grill, fire ring, and picnic table, full hook up, and not to mention I had to move my reservation twice and they were so nice about it! I would definitely stay here again.

A very clean, quiet campground. Office staff very accommodating. The small General store is a great addition. We have been here twice in the last month. Once on our way out West and on our way back. We will be back next year!

I rented a cabin and would happily stay again. The mattress could be better, but I understand I m not in a fancy hotel. Great stay for the price. The lady in the office ( I can t remember her name) is professional and organized. This place is also just a few minutes from Lost Maples Nature Center. It was also nice to have the store at the front of the property.

Beautiful place with a very friendly and helpful staff! Loved that the bathrooms had AC/Heat. It was clean and well kept. This area is known to not have great cell/internet service. They have WiFi, but our friends who stayed with us that had Verizon didn't always have the greatest luck with good internet. I heard AT&T cell service does great here. We have TMobile & did pretty well with service.

I really like this place. Managment is awesome.You can actually talk to someone if you havequestions. They reply to our emails promptly.The cabins were great. Great views of the areaand the stars. From this location you are closeto many popular rides. Highly recommendanyone staying here. Whether you ride amotorcycle, swim, hike or fun family time youwill enjoy. So will your pet.

This campsite is quite nice! The bathrooms and showers are cleaned well and kept stocked. The cute little general store in the front is perfect for things you forgot too! Will totally be booking a campsite through them next time we re in the area!

Had a great experience for our first time camping at an RV park. The grounds were well maintained. Store had everything you needed if you forgot something or just wanted to pack lighter. I got to say, even though there were multiple reviews about MJ's food truck, I was really impressed with how good it was! We had RV spot 15 and it was just perfect. We would definitely come back.
