Leo is a lifesaver. Not only is he patient knowledgeable, kind, reasonable and fair but he is an awesome person. He offers a great service and anyone making a long drive who happens to have the misfortune of having an automotive issue. Will be glad to have met Leo. I highly recommend him if I could give him six stars I would.

Leo saved my roadtrip! My alternator died on the way from Big Bend National Park north to I-10. Leo towed my Toyota the last mile to his garage, got parts ordered, and installed a new alternator soon after it arrived from Denver. He was friendly, genuine, competent, and extremely fair in his pricing.I would recommend him to anyone stuck on the road - he's the real, deeply helpful, caring deal.I could not have broken down in a better spot than near Leo's.

Great guy great service! Was traveling through from out of town when I needed a tire changed. He helped me tremendously and gave me information on the mountains that we were going to hike. Thanks again!

We had a blow out tire traveling from El Paso to Dallas. Leo was the only person in Van Horn able to help us on a Sunday afternoon. He problem solved quickly and was able to get a replacement tire installed. Luckily we were back on the road quickly. He was definitely a life saver. Highly recommend.

Leo was honest with me about not having much experience with diesel trucks. But he was willing to do what he could to help me out. He not only figured out what the problem was but got it fixed in short order. He is very careful and methodical in his work. He was very reasonably priced even though he had to squeeze me in over a weekend. I highly recommend him.I could rave more about him, his skill, and his compassion, but decided to rein it in a bit. I hope it is okay. Leo is truly the best mechanic person ever!!

Highly recommend Leo's. After having a tire blowout on I-10 we limped into town on the donut. Leo was able to quickly find us a new tire and get us back on the road. I was so appreciative of his kindness and help!

10pm got a flat tire. Call this guy. Picks up and says he can come to me, take the tire off, get back to his shop to patch it up, and then come back to put the tire back on. Did it all in less than 30 minutes and I didn t even have to put a donut on my car. Very affordable! 10/10 would HIGHLY Recommend if you re having car/tire problems.

I got a flat tire and put my doughnut on my car. By the time I got to Van Horn I had already put 40 miles on the spare. You are only supposed to drive 50 miles on the spare. I couldn't go anywhere else. I called Leo and he moved mountains to get me a tire that night. He didn't have my size but he was able to get my size from a friend. Excellent customer service. He kept me updated on what he was doing the entire time.

If you happen to be stranded on I-10 thirty miles from Van Horn like we were last week, DON'T CALL AAA - call Leo. We waited almost 4 hours, along with another driver right behind us in the same situation. Fortunately Balmorhea Towing showed up for the other driver and agreed to also put our donut on. My husband is on oxygen so it was a very scary situation for us. When we got to a hotel in Van Horn, we called Leo because of all these great reviews.Even though it was a Sunday night, he answered! Told us to just call him in the morning and he'd meet us at his shop. When we arrived he had already arranged with the NAPA store across the street to have our tire ready - all we had to do was pay for it and Leo installed it for us. In and out in about 30 minutes! Super service at a reasonable price and we got to meet a great guy in the process. Go there. As him to show you pictures of his chickens!

We were traveling from Arlington, TX to Tucson, AZ. Wehada rear tire that had the belts separate,causing severe vibration to the point it very unsafe. We limped into Van Horn, TX, on a Sunday. Small town with no one open. Leo was open. Although he did not have the tire size we needed, he made a call and located the only tire in town. He had it changed and mounted in no time. Had us back on the road with no issues. Great guy who went above and beyond. Small town kindness wins. Thank you, Leo.

Leo is very helpful and as the other reviews say, he goes out of his way to get the job done! I was just passing through and needed an oil change. He helped me out for a good price and also let me know of one other problem that I should be aware of as I was traveling on. Thanks Leo!

Leo was kind and helped me with my car. Especially during the odd hours when lots of autoshop closed and I needed help with my car. He did not hesitate and came out to help me right away. Service was great and available to help anytime! I would definitely recommend this place! Thank you Leo!

Leo is The Man, and Fea is his sweet dog. I had a rapidly deflating tire on I-10 as the sun was setting, Leo had the only shop willing to re-open to fix my tire. It was a tough fix, but made it back to El Paso without having to drive on the cheap skinny spare tire, so worth it. Thank you, Sir!

On the road from Plano Tx since 9 am, blew a tire on I-20 about 3 miles out of Pecos Tx at 4 pm on Monday 2/27. After getting AAA roadside assistance to change to the donut spare, we continued to Van Horn Tx at reduced speed, knowing we'd have to find a full-size tire to finish our trip to Phoenix on Tuesday. We contacted the only tire shop still open when we arrived in Van Horn shortly after 7 pm. He didn't have a tire, but he did refer us to Leo. I called Leo, and within 10 minutes, he called back with confirmation that he could get a tire, came to our hotel to get the flat & rim, and returned in less than 90 minutes to install the new tire. It saved our trip. Leo is a small-town all-star! The world needs more Leos.

Leo was awesome! He was very helpful, prompt, thorough and friendly. He was willing to help us at 9:30pm on a Tuesday! We needed a tire replaced and he was overly helpful and too affordable. I suggested he up his rates, lol! I would trust Leo any day of the week with my car repair. Thank you Leo!!

Our car needed a full replaced tire at 2 a.m.He is the ONLY place available at this hour and I couldn t be happier. He is incredibly nice, professional, affordable when he could charge premiums and is personable to boot.We had our new tire on and out of his way in 20 minutes.Would recommend 10/10

Needed an oil change as I was passing through Van Horn going to Guadalupe Mountains NP after coming from Big Bend, and luckily I found Leo! He was quick, very attentive, and charged a fair price, especially considering how few options there are in that area. He was also super friendly and gave recommendations on some hikes in Guadalupe!

Leo saved us! We ran over a tire on the freeway that caused our car to rattle and thought our road trip would be ruined. Leo answered our call at 4am & fixed our car within 20 minutes! He was kind and so affordable. Thank you so so much we are so grateful.

My parter had traveled for work to Van Horn, and was unable to get their car to Leo s for a blown tire due to long working hours. Leo s went to her hotel and repaired the tire on site for a very fair price. I was able to coordinate remotely with them and they kept me well informed the whole way. Great service. Great communication.

Ran out of diesel 10 miles west of Van Horn. Leo came to rescue and helped priming the tractor of the big rig. Reasonable pricing, excellent and prompt service, and a friendly approach.
