Pros: Staff are nice and informational. Have the military discount on the notes in the system since I lost my keychain.Cons: Where do I begin. I went in on Thursday morning to just get an oil change but ended up getting a new filter and my coolant flushed since it was about that time. Told the worker that I didn t have lots of money to spend but gave me some discounts (positive). However later that day when I was driving the car it had overheated. It was very scary because I was on 1604 with my dogs and it was almost impossible for me to move over and get out. When I inspected the car we found that the radiator hose was not properly secured and had been rubbing against the belt causing it to make a hole and have steaming coolant spurting all over my engine.I had told my husband what happened and we had to have the car towed. He went back the next day and told them what happened. Their manager was not in and they said he would give us a call. Ended up getting a call on Saturday and when we called the number the mailbox was full. Went in again on Sunday and they said he wasn t in, called Monday afternoon and he had said that it was not their responsibility for what had happened. They were the only people that had lifted the hood of my car and had worked on it. They had told me that they do not mess with anything but the cap of the coolant but then how did my radiator hose get loose and damage my car?Now we have to take the car in ourselves and fix the damage that was done because they are not liable and it wasn t their error. Didn t have a lot of money to spend and now ending up having to pay $200 extra to get it fixed and they have to flush the coolant so I pretty much wasted $100 getting it done. Due to this issue and them not taking responsibility I will not be coming back to this location or any other Take 5 locations. Just getting my oil changed at a real automotive shop.

The Take 5 on Pat Booker (near Randolph AFB) in Universal City does amazing and thorough work, just as quickly as advertised too. They are staffed by friendly and knowledgeable technicians who help to make their service an enjoyable experience. Well done and don't change a thing!

I enjoyed going to this location because i Thought they were fast an efficient, but I will not be returning. My vehicle had gone in for an oil change and a coolant flush, everything seemed normal until the car started leaking fluid only a few hours later. While on the freeway trying to get home the temperature of the engine spikes. Once in a safe location I check under the hood to see my radiator hose had been pulled down by my belt and the wheel had burned a hole through the tube. I manage to tow my vehicle home and let the shop know what had happened. While the staff was friendly they refused to take fault. They claim that they didn't touch the hose, only the cap. The supervisor, who it took forever to get a hold of, also stated the same thing. When i brought up to them that it happened on the same day they worked on my car, and that they were the only ones to look under my hood, I received the same response. I got a sorry, my employees should have told you about the tube, but its not our fault and they would not be doing anything about it. The only thing that was offered was someone to look over my car and to make a determination which could take 3 weeks, and I'm sorry, but I can't not drive my car around for 3 weeks. I will not be bringing my vehicles back to this place, and i will recommend that veterans of the base not to return either. On a previous trip they spoke to me about how they don't like serving veterans because of the discount the company offers to us. I guess they don't make enough money off of the community. Well here is hopes that this location will make less money now.

we ve gone here for oil changes and inspections for both of our vehicles, and have great experiences each time. the employees are very knowledgeable and respectful. we always get out of there in a timely manner.

So far the BEST customer service and quickest place I ve gone for an oil change . Joe and Mike amazing service. Very well explained and patience. I have a 2024 Toyota vehicle that every place was giving a hard time for oil changes but these guys got it done I ll be returning to this location only . 10/10.

My experience at the Take 5 was awesome! I have no complaints. I went here for an inspection and my tech was Martin. He was nice and respectful, knowledgeable about my inspection. I know I will be coming back! Everyone there seemed like they were enjoying their job! Happy techs happy customers!

I ve always went to this Take 5 for the past 4 years and always have had excellent service and always in and out, even with 2-3 car waits. I'm not one to complain ever because I ve worked in the service business myself but this was just to much. I only went in for an oil change and an inspection, but all employees seemed to have something going on and were very slow. What I thought was going to take maybe 15 minutes being there was only 2 cars in the pits and 2 others were Open and there were 4-5 employees there, Ended up taking 45 minutes to an hour. 2 of them seemed to be arguing about something and were taking awhile. I had mentioned to the guy working on my car that I just wanted economy even though I got 1040 the last time I was there, but he was distracted from the arguing and almost charged me for the 1040 instead of what I wanted. Then The guy next to me seemed to need a full work up and the girl was just on her phone taking longer than most likely needed and was also distracted with the arguing. The arguing while I (as a paying customer) is present was just very unprofessional in my opinion and seemed to prolong the service. I normally always have a good experience but this time not so much.

Phenomenal customer service and friendly employees! I was warmly greeted as my car entered the bay, and they were kind enough to explain to me on my eligibility of topping off between changes, gave me the tire air I needed, and checked all my filters for me free of charge. They were so honest and thorough with everything they did, and I really appreciated it.

Adrian did a great job working on my oil change and honoring the warranty of the windshield wiper blades being replaced if they fail to function for safety reasons and free of streaking when in use. The entire team worked as a unit and communication was clear on every step they followed from start to finish. Recommend this team at Take 5 for your vehicle maintenance upkeep needs on Par Booker Road, Universal City, Texas

Have been going here since 2020 maybe 2021 for my oil changes. They ve always been very fast and efficient. My most recent visit they were very kind and filled my wiper fluid as well as put air in my tires saving me some time. They didn t have the filter they needed so one of their techs quickly went to the store to get it

Every time I get my oil change the service is phenomenal. Last night Chase and his team ensured I was taken care of even though it was close to closing time, and had a great attitude the whole time. This crew deserves to be highlighted as an example of great service both in auto service and how people are treated I.e. customer service.

Don't like how I was being pressured into buying this and that. I paid 93. Normally pay 70 something for full synthetic. He put a new cabin filter or some long things that cost 25. Then he brought down to 16.99. then he says he took of 25.00 but I really don't think that he did. If so my oils change would have been in the 50-60 dollar range. I'm not going there again.

First time not going to the dealership for my change oil due to the long waits & difficulties of getting an appt so I tried Take 5 Oil Change and it was the best experience , staff took my car in and got it done less than 30mins. Everyone was very nice specially the gentleman that was attending me, for sure my go to now for car maintenance.

I love going to take 5! They changed my oil and did an inspection within minutes! They do a thorough check of the air filters and even gave different oil options for the car. Highly recommend!

The three young men that helped me were very, very knowledgeable and very courteous they informed me of the issues with my car that I ve only had for six months bought from a dealership that needed to be addressed right away they fixed everything else that normally goes with the oil change took very good care of me, and I would recommend them to everybody. I know my two children also use them and are very very happy with them

yes this location is fire frfr I almost was going to leave cause the price of the oil change has gone so up but luckily I stayed only cause the attendees there there was a cat Charles who convinced me to Stay and offer me a coupon to make. Myprice better he was quick and very informative with the benefits of take 5 he deserves a raise for sure

I went twice on Tuesday, October 10. 1st was around 0930, and Blake conducted an inspection on my wife's car. He was new to the shop, but knowledgeable, and his managers did a good job of helping him navigate their POS system. He was fast, but very thorough. After I got my truck from my wife, I took it over to Take 5 at the same location, around noon. Charles was my technician and was happy to help, along with Clarice, the manager on duty. They were both friendly and efficient. They offered products and services relevant to my oil change and general maintenance on my truck, but we're not pushy or overbearing at all, if I turned anything down. In the end, I will continue to go to Take 5, because of their fast, friendly, and affordable services. They have a new life-long customer, that they have legitimately earned, taking me from another "10-Minute Oil Change" shop that has honestly gone downhill lately.

Went in for an inspection: even with two cars ahead of me I was seen quickly! Also nice to see that inspections in Bexar County are only $7 it s cheaper than Houston!
