I've been a regular customer here since 2014. This is the only place I've brought my BMWs and Lexus. They've even worked on my Nissan truck. Bottom line: This is a respectable business that does good work that is warrantied. They even offer military discounts. They tell it like it is and try to save you money. Very highly recommend!

Ruben Jr. has always been professional and honest when it comes to my wife s 2006 Mini Cooper S. We have been taking it to him for years for advice and repairs. Sandra has decided to keep the vehicle and make major repairs to it. This father and son team are always ready to explain in detail they're opinion and advice on the best way to maintain your vehicle. They believe "why cut corners if you drive a high-end vehicle." I have used them for over 15 years while owning at one point; BMW-2, Mercedes-2, and Jaguar-2 vehicles. I will continue to use their expertise and remain a grateful customer. From the moment I called to when I arrived, they are very professional and friendly ! Family owned business ! Took care of my jetta's needs! I highly recommend this place! I had to travel a good distance to get there, but worth every mile!! I I wouldn't hesitate to go back!

I highly recommend Master European. They performed an oil change service as well as brakes and rotors on my 2015 Mercedes-Benz S550. They completed the services in one day. I have a Mazda 2015 touring, and they are very professional kind and helpful. I only trust them to change my oil!!! Both Ruben and jr have years, of experience. They both know, exactly what can be wrong with your car. They will tell you, if it is worth fixing. They are honest , in telling you if you re, better off getting a new car. I definitely recommend Master European Automotive, if you have a European car. Since that is what they specialize in! Will definitely, return!

They have provided me with excellent customer service every time I ve taken my car to them. They make the necessary repairs and provide honest opinions about any potential issues they find. Their prices have always been reasonable and much less than other places I ve been in the pass. They have provided me with fast service every time and I ve never had to return to address any work they ve provided. They take the time to explain everything clearly along with clear options. I will continue to take my Audi to them and highly recommend them for service on your vehicle whether or not it s a European model or not.Update 10/11/2022: I still feel the same way about their service and continue to recommend to hem and take my vehicles to them for service/repair.

My neighbor, who has been using Master European for over a decade, referred me to Ruben. I never needed a mechanic until now. Had to get A/C work and some other things done to a Nissan. My son is getting ready to drive and wanted to make sure his car is road ready. They are Very honest, upfront, and very affordable. They are now my to go to mechanic. This was my first experience using Master European to work on one of my cars. After taking my car to 2 other shops that were unable to fix my AC problem, I was advised (by the second shop which specializes in air conditioner repair) to try Master European. From start to finish, all of my interactions with these guys were friendly, informative, and professional. Ultimately Ruben troubleshot the problem, explained it to me and gave me a few different options to resolve it. The fix was preformed even better than I expected, in a reasonable amount of time, and with an extremely fair price...and I finally have air conditioning! Friendly, honest, knowledgeable, and great work...I ve finally found a place that I can trust for car repair. Thank you Ruben and Ruben jr, I really do appreciate everything. I've used Master European for years. Total professionals. Very honest. Great diagnostics and communication without the upsell. Experts with BMW/Mini, Porsche, Benz, Audi, Jag, VW, also not afraid of my ragged old Subaru. Oh my Gosh!!! Are there such a thing as an honest mechanic? Definitely!!! Ruben Jr. & Ruben Sr. are FANTASTIC!!!! You would do yourself and your vehicle a great service if the next time your vehicle needs servicing, you take it to Master European. These guys not only know vehicles, but they are friendly and HONEST people. They provide you with dealership services, but with out the price. I discovered them 5 years ago and I am so happy that I have found a mechanic that I can trust. Thank you, Master European and thank you, Jr. for giving me a peace of mine with my car. What can I say? You guys are awesome!!!

Master European Auto is the only place that I truly trust to work on my vehicles. They are always honest and professional, and they consistently provide me with updates related to identifying the problem, options, costs and timelines. They also distinguish the strongly recommended repairs from the optional ones, saving me money and time. They also are able to work on a wide range of auto issues (engine, electrical, mechanical, etc.), making them a one stop shop. I strongly recommend them for auto repair needs!

Rueben Jr. did a great job fixing my alternator. He went over the issues that should be taken care of and a time frame that the issue would become a problem. He was very knowledgable. He gave us a place to find parts for my 2006 BMW. What really impressed me is something so small, but huge in my eyes. Since we have sprung forward, my clock has been wrong. Rueben Jr. fixed it without me ever saying anything about it. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you from keeping me from adding an hour to the time on my dash board. I will be back for the items you recommended. Thank you once again. A job well done. She is running smooth once more.

I had a weird squeaking noise from the front right area of my 2006 BMW X5. I had just driven from North Carolina to here and wanted to make sure that the noise was not going to create a really bad situation that would hinder me driving back to North Carolina. Ruben was very thorough in showing me the bushings that had basically come loose or broken. I have a mechanic back in Boone that I would like to have work on my car and he assured me that it would be okay to drive it back to North Carolina. I appreciated his honesty and the time he took with me to show me everything that was going on. I would definitely recommend him and if I had to get service done around here he is the one I would use. he was upfront in telling me it would cost $50 to have him look at it and if I wanted the work done the $50 would be applied to my job.

Took my 535i in for a check engine light. I had already taken to another shop twice and it wasn't fixed. Ruben and his son were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. After they did some checking turned out the last shop forget to hook back up a hose. Younger Ruben connected it and said drive it and let me know if you have any other problems. He didn't charge me for the fix. These guys are class act. He could have taken me to the bank. Very honest guys! You have new customer from now on!

These guys are fantastic.Turned out they were closed on Sunday, but not only would my sunroof not close upon arrival, my car would no longer start! How stressful!I had to leave it and just hope nothing happened. I received a call that night from the owner. They're diligent enough to check on their lot on off days & moved it into the garage to avoid the unexpected rain that came that evening! Phew!Since then, they've fixed my motor and handled a few other common repairs with old cars.I've had very few problems, driving my car between 96-123k miles.Their customer service has been outstanding and personal. I won't be taking my cars anywhere else. :)

Really happy happy I took my 2001 BMW here. The customer service and repairs to my vehicle were excellent! Ruben diagnosed my problems and visually explained what repairs would have to be done. I highly recommend these guys. Very friendly and professional. No more BMW of San Antonio for me.

The guys at Master European Automotive are THE BEST. I've brought my BMW, Toyota, and Mazda cars to them for the last 3 years and they have never failed to accurately diagnose the problem, find the best parts, and get the repair done right the first time. These guys go the extra mile to find the best value for every repair and always stand behind their excellent work. The mechanics are highly trained and effective at troubleshooting and fixing only what needs to be done. They've fixed everything from my air conditioning, to body parts, to major engine components. Because of their professional excellence these guys saved my Mazda truck from a possible blown engine and have done wonders with my vintage BMW. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

I took my 2011 X3 in for a battery change and they were wonderful. I made an appointment and they were able to get me in the next day. It took less than an hour and they charged me less than my quote, which included a customer discount. The technician was very nice and knowledgeable. I will definitely be returning for future service appointments!

So, (context) I took my Z4 to the dealership and they wanted to charge me ridiculous amounts of money and never really diagnose my car's SES light. I took it to Master European and for a $100 bucks and 1 day without the car, my SES was gone and the car was humming smooth. Since then, I've taken my car to them twice, both times, great prices and great professionalism. Since I do a lot of my own work, they are generous to provide tips, tell me where I messed up, and even take time to look up stuff on the net to help! This place is top tier...among the best mechanics I've experienced! Won't go anywhere else...you shouldn't either!

I don't leave reviews but for this place I had to or else I would feel guilty. took my 2006 BMW 330i. I had it serviced at BMW San Antonio and Brake Check but both places were not able to fix my vibrating problem with my brakes and rotors. Had I known about this place I would have saved plenty of money. They know what they are doing. Before you get work done anywhere else get their suggestion first. Not only are they priced right but they will tell you what work needs to get done instead of making you pay for things you don't even need like BMW. I have no regret and can stand for everything I say. I am also a military spouse and they gave me a military discount. Thanks guys keep up the good work.

Took by truck to Master European Auto...best choice I made.My whole experience was great. Ruben was very friendly ... his mechanics are just as friendly and very knowledgeable. I appreciate that they do not try to upsale.I will definitely be returning for any service need I have.

They are fully transparent with prices and timelines, and they always find a way to squeeze you in in order to get your car looked at. I recommend their services to all folks in the SA area! I went to Master European for a pre-purchase inspection. I don't live in San Antonio, but I was looking at a BMW in town. I chose Master European based on the reviews I read and the fact that they had the computer system to read the BMW specific codes.My experience was less than stellar. The best thing that I can say about them is that they were willing to work me into the schedule, since I was coming from out of town and dealing with a dealer that I had never met. They were able to read the codes and print them for me. And they charged me what they said they would. But that's where the positives end.For a pre-purchase inspection, you would hope that they would look at the different mechanical systems and tell you what was in good shape and what needed repairs. But at the end of the day, they misdiagnosed at least two problems, one of which should have been fairly obvious for anyone familiar with the vehicle. Luckily I have become fairly well versed in German vehicles over the years, so I had a pretty good idea of what was actually going on.I am lucky to live in a city with some excellent independent BMW mechanics. I'm glad I didn't have to rely on Master European to actually do the repairs, because I have serious concerns about how much extra money I would have had to pour into the vehicle chasing their incorrect diagnoses.

I went here today and it was my third time going, still haven t paid a dime. All three times very different issues. They are great at listening to your issue and then giving you options. I fully expected to hand them money each time and each time they said hey try this and if it doesn t work bring it back and we will take a look. You won t find many places more worried about people over money. If I ever do need an actual repair I will 100% go here because their honesty is above all. If you re reading reviews deciding on wether or not to go here, stop, go here they are good honest hard working people not looking to take advantage of anyone.
