Twice I have brought my car here. Twice they could have charged me for repairs. 1st time I thought I needed brakes. They told me my brakes were fine. 2nd time I had it towed to them. Instead of telling me I needed a new engine, Molly told me that they had a bulletin from the manufacturer and it should go to the dealer. She also told me to ask about that bulletin. The result was that instead of charging me thousands (which I would have had to come up with), Ford paid for my new engine. I am forever grateful to G&G and will not take my car anywhere else.

After I spent 2k to get my complete ac redone as I was told if you only replace a few parts it would cause junk to fill your entire system well after 4 months my ac stopped working and I can t get in touch with them about their warranty. The system is full of junk as they said it wouldn t if I replaced all the parts all of the parts weren t even replaced as I was told Doors have been closed on the shop for a couple weeks so I had to take it to another shop and lo and behold. My AC is full of junk. The reasoning behind the one star rating is because I cannot get a hold of anybody so they can hold up their end of the warranty. I was expecting this place to be a reputable company since they have been in business for so long but as of right now from my experience, it doesn t look like that is the case I m leaving this review with one star unless they reach out and correct the situation, I am very unhappy a Flores across the street quoted the same work for about $800 less and they will be doing the work to make the repairs I don t understand why people can t just be honest anymore make this right G and G automotive and I will change your review until then I will tell everybody I can to avoid this place like cancer with the economy being the way it is we need all the money that we can get and what just happened to me can only be described by me as theft disgusting performance g and g you should be ashamedServices: Auto A/C recharge, Auto A/C replacement, Air conditioning, Auto maintenance

Friendly and knowledgeable service from the get-go. I had a leaking freeze plug and they told me to bring it in and they had me back on the road in a couple of hours. They provided quotes for other repairs that were far less expensive than other shops around the area. I recommend avoiding Schertz Auto and come to G&G!

Some years ago I took my Toyota to a dealership to have recall repairs done. While they had the car they noticed I had a problem with my suspension. Made me sign a waiver when I didn t have them repair it for +$800! I just drove gently and hoped my luck would hold til I got some $ together.My AC quit blowing cold a couple years back and another mechanic we patronized because was musician friendly estimated +$600. I thanked him and said I d roll down the windows.Finally I could stand it no longer.G&G was recommended by a friend. Not only did they do the job quickly and correctly, they saved me a TON of money! The shop is clean, the people are transparent and professional. The presence and demeanor of Molly (maybe the office manager?) immediately put me at ease. As a woman, that s not always the case in auto shops. But Molly is great and I wholeheartedly recommend this shop to any woman or man who wants to be sure that *ONLY* what needs fixing will get fixed, and fixed fast and right, and that they won t create repairs that you ll have to pay for.There ARE still honest mechanics. Been going to this place over 20 plus years they always taken care of any mechanical problems that I had always polite mechanics Glen the owner and Molly who Manages the office. cost of repairs is always reasonable they never overcharge or look for additional things to charge you for. My father brought his car here for years before I could even drive and I have brought all my vehicles and my family members vehicles here this is one of the best garage if your looking for an honest garage with fair prices come here.

As you can tell by some of the previous reviews, some people just have an axe to grind and don't have much of a problem with stretching the truth. I first came to Glen around 2004. I told him that I only had $500 for the repair and asked for an estimate first. Upon leaving I wanted to kick my self for telling him my budget thinking that the estimate would not probably be $500. That afternoon I called Glen to find out the status of my car. I was shocked and felt a little guilty when he told me that the problem was very simple and that it would be more trouble to take the time to write up a bill then it was worth. He did not charge me for the repair. In the ensuing 11 years I have taken my car to Glen many times and he has always been very honest with me and has always come in under his estimate. Moll, his office manager is also the most knowledgeable lady in the automotive industry. She rocks. I have sent many friends and family to G&G and everyone of them are now very satisfied repeat customers. Glen will treat you right!

Glen is an honest mechanic and has an awesome crew working for him. He has worked on my 1966 Chevy and my sons Nissan Frontier. I would recommend his shop to anyone as it is so difficult to find honest and service friendly mechanics nowadays. Don t hesitate to utilize his shop for your auto repairs. They are real professionals who care for their clients.

Our family has been using G&G Automotive for over 5 years. They have always taken care of us honestly and up front. I usually do my own mechanic work on my vehicles. Times where I don't have a special tool or I haven't had the time to perform the repair is when I have gone to them. I have even taken the choice of parts that I wanted to use and they charge me the labor to perform the job.This trip was for a work out front U-joint. I took them the U-joint. It was taken care of quickly and haven't had an issue out ofnthe repair. Back to running normal.

If something goes wrong with my car, I know exactly who I am using. I've gone to G&G since 2005, and they've never done me wrong. I strayed away one time and got ripped off by another mechanic, and I learned my lesson. Molly is so nice and considerate. I've seen her sacrifice profit for the benefit of her customers. Example, my dad's Jeep had some issues going on so he visited G&G, but then Molly informed him that his Jeep has had recalls. She advised him that he may not get charged if he takes the Jeep to the dealership. Sure enough, it was a recall issue and he had it fixed for free. She really didn't have to do that, and could have had the work done there for a price, but she went above and beyond. I've never second guessed on whether or not they are giving me a legitimate service. After 10 years and 3 cars, they are still my one and only repair shop.

I had G&G replace the fuel pump on a 2001 Mustang and replace the timing belt, water pump, value cover gaskets and repair the A/C on my 2001 Villager. I had dealt with Glenn before and found him to be honest and reliable. You can expect quality work and you don't have to worry about being ripped off. My vehicles are older but in great shape and I intend to have G&G maintain them as long as possible. Highly, highly recommend!

I had high hopes based on reviews but they did a poor job for my vehicle and poor communication. There very good for older late model cars repairs but vehicles that requires advance technological prowess,they were not helpful. The lady is nice but if the guy working on the car get stuck their to prideful to admit their mistakes and faults.

Had been taking my pickup trucks to this shop for years because I trusted them to do the job right; this is no longer the case, I've had ac repair here that failed as soon as leaving the shop as well as parts that were taken off for repair not re-secured properly onto my vehicle. I have also had suspension repair done at this shop that within 2 months failed and am now told that it needs to be done again. I will not be returning to this shop again an would recommend others to find a different company to do business with before trusting this shop to do even the simplest of repairs.

Outrageous. I have been calling around all different auto shops to get a valve job on my 91 Mazda B2200. Every shop I have had quote me said top price would be 300 or 400 dollars, and G & G auto tried to tell me 3500! I don't think so, will never go here and will never recommend this place to anyone. I'll be recommending Main Street Garage where the guy actually had a Mazda B2200 and knew what he was talking about.

took a month to correctly change a compressor, and i was over charged for each item on their receipt according to other mechanics.They never wanted to talk to me either; maybe because Im not an older guy.Would have loved to see an itemized bill, or maybe I wouldn t have haha.At least my cars compressor is still working and it s been about 2 weeks so i m hopeful that they ve fixed it

I've taken my vehicles to G&G for 13yrs and have always been pleased with the way they do business. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I recommend them to all my family and friends.

They were very unorganized and could never get anything done unless we checked in every now and then and babysat them.The office worker was very lacking in automotive and parts knowledge.I found out from another customer that when we weren't present, they would speak negatively about us and our vehicle to other customers even though, we were nothing but patient and polite with them. They, then proceeded to rub it in our faces that they were speaking negatively about our vehicle with other customers.We gave them multiple chances but they've proved to not be worth our business. We will not be going back.

Always honest. Fixes as cheaply as possible. Does not fix what doesn't need to be fixed. Have sent many people there. Molly is unbelievably knowledgeable. Never go anywhere else. Will even fight your warranty for you. Been going there over 20 years

They did a great job on my Honda Civic over a year ago. Timing Belt, all other belts,. and 2 engine mounts. Very fair price and they showed me all the old parts. About to go see them today again for a bigger problem. I hope they can help. Input Shaft Bearing. :(

Glen and his crew rebuilt my 1984 Chevy C10 Deluxe inline 6 engine and done a fantastic job. Molly is a wonderful person and very knowledgeable.

These guys have always done there best for me. Owned by Glen and Gerry, Glen fixes my car up in a jiffy. But if course it's always just minor things. But his whole crew are good!!

Went there on the recommendation from my brother in law. They replaced the air conditioner system, two months later a magnet in the compressor melted, they replace it again, less than five months later it seized up an blew the fuses, they replaced it again and I was charged almost four hundred this time. Well, it has stopped working again, but I will no linger take anything to them to be fixed. My brother in law no longer takes his vehicles there as well since he had to take his truck to be repaired some place else after taking it there to have work done.

My folks have trusted this shop for years, and so do I. Normally, I go to BBB-listed shops; IDK if G & G are listed, but if they're not, they should be. They'd be the only non-listed shop I would trust.
