The staff really came through when we needed them. We got a flat tire on I35 during rush hour. They went to another location, picked up our correct tire size, and got us on the road as quickly as they could, even though they were short staffed. Big clean waiting area. Just don't use the restroom. :-D

I was a walk-in using the CarAdvise App to get a discount on windshield wipers. I was greeted immediately and was told what the price would be. It was a little bit higher than what aI was quoted through the app, but still less than what it would have been if I just purchased the wipers without the app. He also put them on for me. I appreciated the service and that it was done immediately even though I was a walk-in customer without an appointment.

Great location for Vehicle inspection! I waited less than 5 minutes for my vehicle to begin the inspection. Well staffed with 5 bays open at all times. The manager on Duty was kind and efficient. Handicap accessibility ramp with 2 Handicap spots right out front. Comfy seats, TV, coffee and water while you Wait!

Good service, good attitude, good teamwork and energy between the guys even in the last half hour before close, and they seem genuinely interested in keeping customers appraised if there s a delay or issue. The music coming through the wall from the shop is pretty good, too. The jackets say Steve / Steve / Abraham. Good guys.

Very good customer service and communication. Hard to come by those attributes these days. Good experience and why I return here every time.

Dropped off tires for flat repair. On the previous week then went today (almost a week later) to be told they were not ready. Apparently right after I left they called ONE TIME and that's it no message nothing. Anyhow I am told that 1 tire couldn't be repaired and the other could and it would be $315. No options nothing. Then when I asked which tire was it that needed replaced I get a roll of the eyes and told that he can check (he made me feel that I was greatly inconveniencing him). So finally after finding out which tire could be repaired I ask if they could proceed that I need right away for work. Mind you this is simply just putting a plug in a tire. I was there over an hour and 15 mins with NO communication from the employees or management. Absolutely horrible service I will definitely not be going back. Discount Tire is far better in so many ways. There are too many choices these days to deal with any bad customer service and too bad they could have had a new fleet account. I recommend saving yourself some time, frustration and money and go elsewhere.

Poor communication! Scheduled an appointment for 10 for a tire rotation. I was told that there was four cars ahead of me and it would take 3 hours for my car to get serviced. They told me that would give me a call when the car would be ready. I called at 5pm to ask for a status and their response was we close at 7pm. and my car wasn t in the garage. Ended up being car less the whole day and still my car wasn t serviced. It would have been courteous if they would have told me that they were booked for the day and to reschedule.Service: Tires

This place is terrible! Not only do they not call you to give you any status on your vehicle? They dont even do the job!I took my truck there for brakes at 11:00 on a Saturday, never got a call about status?I called them before they were closing and they said they were waiting for parts to start the job. They told me that they had recieved what they needed but that it was too late to get to.They then told me that they would start on it first thing Sunday morning.I said well,I need it done so thats fine.Well I waited at home waiting to hear from them, knowing that they close at 5:00pm so I called them at 4:00 to check status? They told me that they only had one mechanic on duty and that they couldnt get to till maybe Monday by noon.I blew a fuse and said Ill be there! I got there and the manager was sitting in customer area talking, when I got closer to the manager I said you guys suck at calling your customers back for status?I then said Im here to pick up my truck and take it somewhere else where they would fix it and CALL me when its done! The manager kept saying Im sorry but we only have one mechanic on duty,I stopped him and said thats not my problem!I then told the manager if you guys cant handle the work load, then dont accept the work to begin with?So I picked up my truck and left. This by far was the worst experience Ive ever had at any auto repair store! I will never go back to Firestone again!

Horrible. I made an appointment and went on time. They told me it would take about 3 hours, so I left and came back. Mind you, I was with my 4 year old daughter and we were just wandering around the strip mall while we waited for the front rotors to be changed. We went back a little over 3 hours later, and I was told they hadn't even taken the car back!!! They sent us away, saying to try back later that week. Apparently appointments do not mean a single thing to these people. I will never go there again, and I will tell everyone to avoid Firestone.

Does not time manage or communicate. I made an appointment 3 weeks prior for 2k worth of work. I dropped off my car, and took an Uber. They called me 5 hours later to tell me their qualified mechanic didn't show up that morning and hadn't ordered parts BUT wanted to keep my car overnight. I used to love bringing all my used vehicles here but this location has gone downhill with poor staff.

If I could give zero stars I would. This place is JOKE - charged $2K and the car still gave the same code - won't fix and won't refund and they lied and said "its all good". Stay away from these scammers.Service: Auto engine diagnosticService: Auto engine diagnostic

I went to my Dealer and 2 Discount tires, the one in New B and Schertz, for TPMS scan. All three places spent 30-45mins trying to scan and assist me with my next step, not one of those places charged me anything. I get to Firestone, he tried to scan 1 tire, says it didn't work. He took less than 5 minutes and they charged $21.99 plus tax. I take my van, my wife and sons car to the Firestone in Cibolo, not anymore, they have lost me as a customer. Its not the amount they charged, its the point that they charged for doing nothing. And its apparent, my 3 previous stops treat there customers better. Not only do you not get my 4th vehicle, you lose the 3 you had. BYE

I hate leaving bad reviews but this is justified. THE WORST SERVICE EVER! Good people but they are so slow its crazy. 4 days for a sensor. 4 DAYS! Come on now that's just crazy. Also They need to stop lying saying, "we'll be done in a couple hours". A couple hours means 2 hours. Not 4 days! I could keep going on and on about the problems but just go to another location or another business entirely. Who ever manages this place might need some training cause you will lose valuable business being slow and unresponsive

I took in an older car(2001) to get brakes fixed. After 3 days passed I was told that they were too busy to start working on the car. Day four: I waited until 5pm to ask if they had my car ready and the answer was no because they couldn't find a part that was needing replacement and that they could not fix my car brakes indefinitely. I did a simple search on Google and like magic I found the Car part needed. Either the mechanics at this shop are totally lazy or incompetent. Needless to say I had to get the car back and pay someone to tow it to my house. I guess my car didn't fit there standards

Firestone did a wheel alignment for my vehicle and did a wonderful job. It took them around an hour. Jason was super nice and explained exactly what they did.

Ever since Steve retired, this Firestone no longer lives up to its reputation. I had a 3 o'clock appointment. My car was still not touched at 4:20. After I asked, the car was moved indoors. Another customer had a 1 o'clock appointment, and his car is still sitting in the parking lot. Not acceptable. Will be looking for another Firestone.

Great staff and very friendly service. I went in for a state inspection at about 4pm Friday and expected a long wait. To my pleasant surprise they got to my vehicle very quickly and had my inspection completed quickly. The two staff members I interacted with were both very friendly and I truly enjoyed my conversations with them. Just an unexpected great experience. I highly recommend this place for your car care needs.

I have always been told to never use the car brand service centers, because they will overcharge; as well many years ago my family stopped using Firestone but I was pressed for answers to why my car was overheating as a commuter it is important. I took my nissan versa to them & the diagnosed the problem being a damaged radiator, I went on Saturday and was quoted $800, I did not have it. I got the credit card that was helpful but probably a mistake. I brought it back Sunday after thinking about, my car was not completed until Wednesday. It was still overheating, and my shift glider was broken. I returned the following Sunday, to have them fix, or retry, no service technicians showed up. The following Wednesday, after reaching out to the customer service my car was done, witj a new thermostat, car still overheating when idling. I went today at 7, because I realized the fan was not coming on, today it was diagnosed that no electricity was getting to the fan. I feel this may have been the original problem but now I $800 , car is still overheating, and because the help is slim, I have to wait until Monday to try again. If you value your time and have the money go elsewhere. I can say the manager Rick Black is good with providing assurance that somebody touched the car; he is the reason for three stars but, don t waste your time unless you have plenty of it. Contact your car manufacturer technicians. It will cost the same.Services: Electrical repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Air conditioning

If I could leave 0 stars I would, most definitely. We brought a car to them, for the starter, nearly a month ago. It's still there! Almost impossible to get anyone on the phone to answer as to what's going on. When we do, it was some excuse or another. "The guy working on it has been out sick" (For weeks?!) "The guy working on it got fired, but we're on top of it now" (weeks ago) My husband asked for the corporate #, was given something entirely wrong. Now he says some higher has been promising to go by, but that was over a week ago.SO frustrated!

Store 654841 Universal City TX, STOLE my money! Refuse to help resolve my problem and refuse to refund me! I went in because my of my Indicator lights (swerve & At) were coming on intermittently and a stutter in engine as I m driving. Firestone 654841 diagnostic-coolant system/thermostat. I ok the service because Firestone has previously serviced my cars with great results- so I trusted them to have diagnosed it properly! After picking my car up I drove about up 8 miles and BAM! The original problem lights flashed and the stutter in engine. I called while on the side of road and received no help from Mike (tech/sales). Once safely home I contact HQ and Management shifted me around to a different store. No result again...all I got now was my car towed home! I have call HQ 5-6 times, had one email from are manager Kyle Smarr and no one has answered my phone calls or emails! I feel like my money has been stolen from me! Firestone you had a loyal customer and you did me wrong over $650!I would greatly appreciate a response simply to discuss the terrible treatment/customer service I have received from store 654841 (Richard & Mike) and the store in Ciibolo (Jason) .Thank youService: Auto engine diagnostic

It was excellent! I got there 10 minutes before they closed and being a female it was not wise for me to drive around with a tire that is low on air. The guy happily help me out. So for me this is a great place.

Do not come here. Called in advance and ser up a appointment for an alignment was quoted over the phone it could take up to 45-60 minutes to check vehicle ok that seemed reasonable . When arriving the man quoted me 2 hours ok that was fine too . So when I decide to walk to gym and return 2 hours later to see my vehicle had not even been moved . You could imagine how frustrating this was .

Let me start off by saying I have been using this location for close to 10 years. I cannot recommend using them. I had a feeling that my tires had not been rotated a few times when I brought my vehicles in. I had my truck in for service and had marked my tires with a sharpie to ensure they were rotated, 4 hours later I received a phone call my truck was ready. I inspected the tires, they had not been rotated. Spoke with Richard he got it done, another 30 minutes of my day. After driving about 5 miles my tpms system reset, while they rotated the tires this time they failed to adjust the tire pressure, my truck has 60 psi in front 80 in rear, drove home on improperly inflated tires due to incompetence of a worker. This weekend on Saturday march5th dropped my car off at 8am, received call at 1030 it was ready for pickup. Guess what tires not rotated again, back to back experiences where work stated to be done was not done, again showed Richard the marked rims on my car and just given excuses. Promptly cancaled the service I scheduled for .My wife's vehicle. Will be finding a new tire shop and mechanic. How can you trust them to do anything major if they struggle to simply rotate and balance tires with proper psi.Matthew Stevens

I've been to this location three times now, with two different cars. The first time I ended up there thanks to a nail deciding one of my tires would be a good place to hang out. Maybe nails get a kick out of that, but my poor tire was so traumatized it couldn't even be repaired, so it had to be replaced. The work was completed in a reasonable amount of time for a reasonable price, and I haven't had any issues with it.The second time, I needed state inspections for both cars. They were completed quickly, and the info transferred to the state database right away, so I was able to go online and renew the registrations that same night. Also needed to get the routine checkup sort of inspection for the older car, but I hadn't made an appointment and they were really busy, so I made an appointment for a few days later. The checkup did take a little while, but they check a heck of a lot of things, so that's to be expected. Due to the car's "symptoms," I'd thought it had a brake issue, and it would've been easy for a dishonest shop to just go along with that and charge me who knows how much for work I didn't need. Turned out the tires were just out of balance, and taking care of that was covered by the tire warranty.A few other things were found that need to be addressed, but the breakdown of the estimate was very clear in differentiating between preventative maintenance, routine maintenance, and actual issues that should be addressed soon (but don't present any immediate hazards). All three service advisors I worked with were friendly and helpful in explaining everything, and I appreciate that they didn't do any of that high pressure sales pitch nonsense like so many places do. The mechanics all did good work, and no one did anything to mess up either car when they drove them. I received much better (and cheaper) service here than I did at the dealer where I bought one of the cars. I won't be taking my car back to that dealer, but I will return to this Firestone.

I called this store today at 5:45pm with a nail in my tire. Wasn't sure if they could get me in, but Mike was great! He said if I have patience he would get me back on the road. They were great and the wait wasn't too bad. This came after I had stopped at the location on Randolph and they with an empty bay told me they could get me in tomorrow.

I was purchasing a used vehicle thru Carvana and wanted to get a full vehicle inspection before the 7 day guarantee was up. On the 3rd day of having the car, and having driven it about 250 miles, I brought it to Firestone on Pat Booker road for an inspection appointment. This was on Saturday, April 9, 2022. I left it for 2.5 hours, went back to get it. The manager on duty, Steven, pulled the car up and came back inside to tell me that the car needed new motor mounts as well as a torque mount. He also said it needed rear brake rotors. I told him I didn t understand how a 2014 with 40k miles and absolutely no indication in my driving it that the mounts needed replacement. I went out and started the car. To my horror, the check engine light as well as some other warning lights immediately came on. When I shifted it into drive I got a violent clunk and it slammed into gear. I immediately turned the car off and went back inside to confront him about this. He stated that it happens sometimes. This was unacceptable and I did not believe that. He accompanied me out to the car, started it while I looked under the hood. As he put it into gear, it did the same thing and the entire engine appeared to twist abnormally. He came back out, looks under the hood and realizes that a sensor connecting to the air filter was disconnected. He plugged it back in and the issues seemed to disappear. The transmission engaged and shifted smooth as butter like before I took it to them. As I drove the check engine light and all others disappeared as well. The next day I had the car reinspected by a reputable company and was told that not only were the mounts good, but still like new. The rotors also, had a lot of life left in them. I cant believe Firestone tore my vehicle apart, didn t put everything back as it was presented to them, and expected me to drive away in a car that would not only have been dangerous to drive, but would have caused serious and expensive damage to it as well. Will NEVER return to another Firestone facility. This is after having used Firestone for the last 15 years! Don t trust them, especially if you value your vehicle.

I m new to Texas from Springfield Mo and I m pleased to say that I received great service at this new location as I did back in Mo. It s always nice to see store separated by hundred of miles putting an emphasis on treating their customers well. After visiting two separate locale shops who told me different things and were not able to help I was upset that it was going to be an expensive repair to my vehicle possibly exceeding several thousand dollars. I took the car to Firestone and dropped it off, they were willing to take the time to throughly check the vehicle unlike the other shops. They were upfront and clear it might take a few hours because they had to fit me in between appointments, luckily I live just down the road so that wasn t a big deal for me. After a few hours I got a call and the vehicle was ready and it was only going to $10 to the repair! They determined it was a loose air box and tightened the bolts and my car no longer made the noise it had been! After leaving I drove around a bit to make sure it didn t come back. The car is complete fixed and does not make any noises any longer! I am so thankful that firestone was willing to take the time and help me out! Service like this is what keeps customers coming back! I look forward to working with this location in the future!

Today is a Sunday. They are open from 9-5pm... Went in around 9:40 to see if someone could take a look at my car because I have noticed an oil leak...Upon entering the store area, I was not greeted. Then when the attendant finally decided to service me, she said oh we can t help you today, I only have one tech. I expressed how the leak seems to be pretty bad and that I did not feel comfortable just driving my car around looking for open shops. I even showed her the pictures of the leaked oil. Still no budge. I stood there for a minute to search on my phone for other nearby mechanics that were open. At that time another customer walked in and was instantly greeted. On top of that she began to help him with his issue.I was already feeling a bit reluctant to go here because of a previous encounter with her and not getting greeted (which I left instead and went elsewhere), but I was desperate and they are a block away from my home. Even though they still have available appointment space online, I should ve just went elsewhere to begin with. Now I m down the street and the problem was found and soon to be solved in less than 30 minutes.
