Simply the best! D&M has always done an excellent job for us at a great price. Honest, dependable, and professional are just a few of the words I would use to describe the staff at D&M. From the moment you walk in they make you feel welcome. They listen to your concerns and diagnose the problem before they give you a quote. When the work is done you get a follow up check in to see if the vehicle is running smoothly for you. I would not take my vehicles anywhere else; they have earned my trust.

I ve never personally had a vehicle serviced on there, but we do a lot of work with them rekeying and rebuilding ignitions and door locks they bring in all the time, and they always answer the phone and are very prompt on picking parts back up from us, so I d assume that will carry over to the quality of work they do in shop. Employees are very nice when I speak to them in person and over the phone.

I usually do my own auto repairs but, replacing engine mounts was not something I was confident attempting. A friend of mine recommended D&M Service Center to me and I m glad they did because they did an amazing job AND they also had the best price for everything. These guys are awesome! Will definitely use them again and highly recommend them to others.

I was a bit overwhelmed trying to find a mechanic shop near me. Pat Booker has so many of them. I'm glad we chose this shop. Everyone was welcoming. Affordable price. Didn't try to tell me 10000 things were wrong with my vehicle. I went in for a tune up and My car is definitely running smoother. My family will definitely be returning.

Most importantly the work I needed done for my car was completed, so I do appreciate that. However, I feel the communication could have been better. I dropped the car off 1st thing Monday morning and received a call the following day letting me know the specifics of the problem and the cost. Then I was given the expectation of it being ready "tomorrow"(Wednesday). Wednesday came and went and I received no call, so I thought surely it would be ready Thursday. On Thursday I called around 10:30 a.m. to check the status and was told "tomorrow" again due to whatever reasons. Then Friday, 20 minutes prior to closing I received a call letting me know my car was ready. So it would have been greatly appreciated if I were contacted on your own volition as soon as you knew the car wouldn't be ready when you initially expected it to be. It also would have been appreciated if I were contacted well before closing time with an approximation of when my car would be ready for pick up so that I could have time to make necessary arrangements to pick it up before you close for the weekend. This isn't meant to be a bad review, but an honest one. I would return for future repairs with hopes of better communication and less hold ups.Update: Ended up returning to the shop sooner than expected for a separate issue and received exceptional customer service, from the work that was done to them following up with me throughout the process even after my vehicle was back in my possession. Great work done in a timely manner with great customer service. They exceeded my expectations this time. Very much appreciated.

D&M is a hidden gem. There are thousands of mechanic shops, but D&M is one of the rarest with the most qualified, honest ASE certified, and professional mechanics. We have a 2015 Ford Explorer and there was a coolant leakage from bad water pump seal. D&M kept our Explorer for 2 days and fixed it. It runs smoother than ever and no more leaking. Highly recommend D&M!

I ve heard that a good business can only offer a combination of any two of the three things: best quality, best pricing, best timing. You might get something at a great price and very quickly, but it might not be the best quality. You might get something at a great price that s also great quality, but it might be a while before it s finished or in your possession. You get what I m saying?In any case, D&M Service Center somehow pulls off all three. Their customer service is sublime; you feel like part of a loving family. They ve been known to bend over backwards to get things done and help you out in a timely manner, even during a busy season. Their pricing is better or on par with most other mechanics around. If you walk in their door, you leave with a smile on your face.My family and I have used them for many years, and (should Jesus tarry, the business is still around, etc.) someday my grown children will be highly encouraged to use them as well.Johnny and Daren, thank you for the many years of excellent service. First time using D&M and I was very happy to find they do Quality Certified work. They fixed the 4 wheel drive, oil leak and dangerous wheel hub issue on F-150. Great customer service, price was reasonable and peace of mind for my son who drives that vehicle Priceless! Highly recommend D&M, support our local businesses!

It s so rare to find a business that values their customers and also provides an excellent service, but this place does both. I recently picked up my vehicle, and after driving it home noticed there was a minor issue with the repair. After contacting Caliber Collision via phone call to inform them, they immediately drove to my house, on a Friday night after closing, performed the repair and then bought me a full tank of gas. I m sure this isn t standard practice, and to say I was impressed with their effort to make things right is an understatement. There are two other Caliber Collision shops closer to me than this one, but I go 10 miles out of my way because I have such confidence in their service. As long as I m here in this will be the only place that touches my vehicle for repairs!Services: Auto body & trim repair, Auto glass replacement

I was super nervous and skeptical about having to find a new mechanic shop given my step dad had been my mechanic my whole life and We unfortunately lost him a few years ago. So when my car started making strange noise I took to Google and stumbled across D&M and I m so happy I did! My entire experience even just starting from my call to set up my appointment was very professional and friendly! I was immediately greeted and helped as I entered and was given a time frame for my wait that was not too far exceeded which was great because they were very busy. Turns out what I thought may be suspension was just my spare tire not in properly Haha needless to say I felt a bit dumb for having to pay to be told that but it was well worth it because the silver lining is I now know where I will be going in the future! I have already referred over a few coworkers who are on the hunt for a new shop! Keep up the good work guys and I super appreciate the honesty, professionalism and friendliness!

They helped me with two cars. The first, and old pickup truck had tons of issues. I asked them to go threw the truck and fix it. D & M auto fixed all the issue. They are honest and trustworthy. They could have charged me for lots of stuff. They didn't.Lately I brought another car to them. An SUV with almost 100,000 miles. The brakes were making noise. After a couple of days they told me the brakes are fine. They did find and fix what was broken.D&M automotive is the best. Honest and professional. D&M was highly recommended. I too was very pleased with their knowledge for exactly what my 3 yr. old CRV needed. It saved me money from taking to to the dealer as always. Price was fair considering all they did! From now on I ll go back because t trust, that the recommended service truly is needed. (Normally go to the Dealer). I went to D & M after finding out I had sugar in my gas tank. They went above and beyond with their customer service. John let me know that we could take it one step at a time and only do what was needed. My service was $400 cheaper than elsewhere. I had my fuel pump removed and cleaned along with a fuel system cleaner. They called me and kept me in the loop, were very friendly, and answered all my questions.. My car was done in a timely manner even with the business booming! Thank you to John, Derek, and all the mechanics, my car is running better than ever!

I've been here twice now. Both times, these guys have done excellent work and were very thorough, professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They actually listen, make sure you understand what they did and what you need (and don't need). I've never had an auto service center tell me they didn't want to sell me something I didn't need, which is refreshing to say the least! I ve used D&M for 30+ yrs. They re honest, quick but thorough. I like a clean window when I drive. The washer stopped spraying last week, ugh. They found that both front and back spray pumps were out. I m back on the road with clean windows. Thank guys.

I've been going to D & M for years. They have always been able to diagnose the issue with any of my vehicles. They are honest and have good repair times. Everyone there listens and explains without talking over your head. I had Colby help me out. He went above and beyond. He was very honorable and tries to find ways to lessen the cost for the customer. He even called to let me know he had found a more effective way for the repairs. My vehicle has been working just fine and I will be bringing all of my vehicles here from now on. I wish more businesses were like this, they have a good honest family owned shop.Service: Engine repair

This company is the most reputable company I have ever known. I ended up signing for a contract with Car Shield which is the worst thing that we can do. I should have asked Daron 1st. I would have saved myself and him some grief. He will never lie to you but sure as the nose on your face car shield will.Save your$$ All those rappers and actors how vouch for then can buy new cars. I am very satisfied with the service I received here. This was the second place I brought my car for AC repair. The first place I went to (which had great reviews) was unable to diagnose the problem. They told me it would cost almost $1000 and they weren't even sure it would fix the problem. Then I brought my car to D&M. No appointment was needed. I just dropped off my car and within a couple hours they had identified and fixed the problem, for a great price as well! Very happy to have a working AC now that the Texas heat is coming back. Thank you!

My 2007 van has 190K miles on it and the ONLY times it's needed to be serviced (replace radiator, brake job and valve cover gasket) have been in the past year and all three times I've taken it to D & M. I was referred to them by another reputable mechanic in Universal City who didn't have time to replace my radiator in a hurry but said that's where he'd take HIS vehicles if he needed to. I actually called them twice within 3 months to ask about the cost to replace the gasket, with the third time to book the actual appointment. That 3rd time, as soon as I said I was calling to book a valve cover gasket replacement, the gentleman on the phone asked, "Susan?" Ha ha--they remembered me! They gave me a courtesy ride home (and pick up) when the car was ready. Saved me $25 in Uber fees! I love this business because they are 100% trustworthy. When I had the brakes done, I told them if they found anything else needing to be done to just do it as trying to reach me at work (I'm a teacher) can be difficult during the day. They've never tacked on unnecessary repairs and have just fixed what was essential. Like I said, my van heretofore had NEVER been in the shop, and I moved here just after it rolled over 100K miles. When I had the first major issue in 2015, I had no idea who I could trust. A friend had been a mechanic at Woody's Garage so I asked them first but they were booked solid and Richard there told me he trusted D & M. I recommend them HIGHLY!!

Jacob is outstanding. Been there for 5 years I an establishment that been in Universal City for over 40 years. I brought it in for a safety inspection and they took care of it without a hitch. This is a full service gas station that does everything! Been here since 62. There were issues with my car but Aaron, the manager, handled them all. I d left for a few minutes to go to a breakfast place and he came over to give me an update on what was needed to be done. Wonderful service. I ve been looking for a new auto-repair person and this shop has my business. Military friendly, affiliated with Johnny s who been here for 40 years, family owned. Would not let me pay until all things were tested and working properly as I waited for a battery the car needed arrived. Pure word of mouth are their main source of advertising for business! Got my business!!
