Wonderful people took my grandson's car in for a transmission they had it done faster than I thought it could be done. Very happy with there service. I would highly recommend them.

Called to have a diagnostic done on my car due to no action from gas pedal!! Pearl has been doing this pause for no cause thing took her in to BigO twice, unable to determine the problem she would start and keep going. Well this time she didn t, Hunter from Repairsmith came out and did the diagnostic, very informative about the codes and put in the request to repair The only reason they didn t get 5 stars is because I got notification the throttle Body was an unsupported Labor Hunter said it was, went to bat for me and once the parts were obtained Mike came out and did that and 4 O2 sensors in less than 2hrs Very informative also, very thorough and didn t depart until he was satisfied with a good test drive!! Technicians are very knowledgeable and caring!! Thank you Hunter and Mike! Overall great service!

Quick, friendly, and affordable service. Answered every time i called. Fixed my truck in less than a couple of days. I am grateful they didn't try to upsell me on all the other problems with my vehicle. Simply got me on the road which I needed, because I was moving. Thanks again for the honest and efficient service!

Brought my 3000GT for a clutch and flywheel change. They got it done after one day. Everyone was very helpful and respectful. They were very honest and straightforward. They seem very knowledgeable and have a lot of experience. I shopped around the same area and their prices were the fairest. Compared to the other shops who all seemed rude and dismissive. I will definitely bring my car here next time and I will definitely be recommending this shop to people. Thank you Smiths!

These guys are fantastic. A co-worker recommended them to me to get my air conditioner fixed. They were fast and honest (yes, there IS such a thing as an honest repair shop), and the work was done for half of what my other two estimates were.These guys rely on word of mouth, and they are definitely a shop that I will continue to use and recommend.

We have had two cars now fixed at Charles Smith. They are one of the few mechanics who will work on older or classic cars, and they did a fantastic job with our Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. They did the work for a very fair price, and I think they must have tuned it too, because it was running far better when it left their shop than it ever had before, and it's been through several highly rated mechanics before we learned about Charles Smith Automotive. We liked them so much that we took our RAV4 to them also.They are very friendly and honest, and do a great job. I should mention also that we usually aren't on a timeframe, and they are willing to put up with us taking a few days to make decisions, which really takes the stress out of decisions for us, but they seem to get the jobs done efficiently and well. They also have good and honest advice if you are trying to figure out the right choices to make with your repairs. They will be my go-to mechanics whenever we are stationed in San Antonio.

I have found my new Mechanic. Charles/Smith Automotive was referred to me by another shop and I am very a happy customer. The work was done quickly to my vehicle and the shop owner very pleasant. I will continue to use Smith Automotive and refer them to everyone I know.Thank you!

The clutch on my Dodge Neon 2005 SXT went out and needed to replace it. After buying the part and taking it to Charles, I can say that I was impressed by the level of professionalism, timing, and knowledge of the repair. Would recommend.

Theyve been the best at taking care of myself and my childrens cars. I couldn't ask for a more honest AND respecful mechanic. Always very friendly and they will tell u the truth...Ive been with them 17 or 18 years .Thank u yall for always caring. You ROCK!!!BECCA

Well these guys plain suck. I had my vehicle in there posession probably 4 times or so. I had an 05 dodge 2500 with a fuel pump issue. These guys fixed the issue by replacing it. Well long story short yes they replaced the fuel pump, and told me it was a mopar pump. After 3 or 4 times that i had my vehicle towed there(i spent over 400 in tow fees after repairs) i took my truck to a dealership and low and behold the fuel pump they put in was an aftermarket part when charged for a dealer part. These guys are rip offs would not reimburse in tow costs. They also use aftermarket parts while charging more for certified. Dont go here anyone ever. Seriously stay away

I currently live in Midland, but my best friend is using my 2001 Nissan Altima in Converse. She woke one thursday morning to find a driveway full of transmission fluid. I normally use G&G Automotive for all my auto service needs. I called them to see about getting the car fixed, they told me they were backed up 1 1/2 weeks. So I called another place who also said they were a week behind, but referred me to Smith Automotive. Once I got the car towed over Thursday around lunch, they had it looked at and parts ordered by that afternoon. the car was fixed (automatic transmission fluid pan had cracked) so for a new pan, gasket, AT fluid and labor, it was only $235. All the guys that I and my friend talked to, both over the phone and in person, were EXTREMELY friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and QUICK. I cannot recommend them enough, and will definitely use them again for any future repairs i need. SIX THUMBS UP

The shop told me to come early, I hot there at 8.45am. They told me it would be 2/4 hrs ... they worked on other cars that came after I did ... finally at 11am they saudered the wires in my dash... charge me $180.00 for keeping my time/ labor ... they left my they did not even check the windshield hose to see if it s secure... It was just disconnected,,,, I am very disappointed in there service as a woman I feel I was taken advantage of ... will not used this shop again .

He's a Legit guy! Won't Lie to you! He knows his stuff! Helped me out even though he wasn't going to make $. Spread the word. He is busy so plan ahead! Not many good mechanics out there! he is one!
