A quickie lube place told me my battery needed replacing. I bought it at a Walmart in Conroe a couple of years ago so I felt it was still under its 3 year warranty. John, a service rep, was AWESOME in helping me obtain & install a new battery at no cost even though I couldn't find my receipt for the old one. I was in & out of there on my lunch hour! I'm so thankful for John going the extra mile for me!

Absolutely nothing negative to say about my experience. I came to purchase 2 tires and have them installed. They were friendly, professional and the work seems to be done as well as anywhere else. I had reservations about going here thinking it might be a lesser quality of service, but as of now... I'm very pleased with the results. I will now be bringing my vehicle here for oil changes as well.Service: Tires

This was my first time ever using a Walmart Automotive shop and they blew my experience out of the park, especially for not being from around here. I was on my way to work when my car wouldn t start and I had never had any kind of issues with it like this before. I was able to jump start my car and get it over to the shop within a few minutes. As soon as i pulled in and said what happened they got to work. They were able to get me in and out within 30 minutes while putting in a new battery. Everyone was super friendly and was able to explain to me what they were doing with my car. I highly recommend and i appreciate their work so much, definitely saved me hours of stress.Services: Auto battery replacement, Battery

I drove up and no one came out to even say anything to me. When there was 3 guys checking 2 cars. I waited for like 30 mins and finally got out and one of the guys said he was leaving on lunch and sent me to wait to speak to the other guys. Finally after about 15 mins more one of the other workers cane to tell me that they are super short handed and it would be about 2-3 hours before they couod even change my oil. Really 45 mins waiting just so you can tell me I would need to wait hours more. No thanks

Due to the cold weather I woke up to a dead battery on my car. Although they were short staffed like everyone is, they had me in and out within an hour. There were multiple customers calling, complaining and so on. They kept their cool, managed the chaos and still were polite even when people were not polite to them. I intend to write to Corporate on how well they performed under the pressure. I work for Landry's and know how difficult these times are for everyone. I would steal everyone in the Auto department for my company in a heartbeat. Amazing customer service is getting rare these days. Keep up the good work.

I had some of the best customer service at this location! Having worked in an customer service atmosphere myself, I know that a bad attitude is not going to make any employee work faster to help their customer.I initially walked in to have my battery looked at and was told there was quite a wait. Having other priorities to tend to I thought I'd try a different place. I then walked back to my car and it wouldn't start! So, guess I was waiting after all. I got an oil change and they swapped my battery with a new one. Lucky for me, the battery was under warranty. They couldn't have been nicer. From there I went on my merry way. While driving home, I noticed that the battery light was still lit on the dash. I decided to take it in the next day to make sure it was nothing else. Again, very impressed by the customer service. I only caught one name, Marie, she knew her stuff and was straight forward with the entire process.

So apparently it takes over 2 hours just to change two tires on a car. Terrible customer service, and the guy they had working on the car was obviously clueless. They claimed it was because of the type of tire, low profile. But we ve had them done other places before and never had a problem. And it only took maybe 30-40 mins max at the other places. Will never be coming back here for auto stuff again!

It's great as long as you don't need keys made. Every time I've gone in there their key machine has been down. But Associates in the rest of the store were great

I would give them no stars if that was an option!!! Do not go there unless you can waste all day and don't care about how people treat you.One man knew what he was doing and sadly, he was not part of the management team out there. I arrived, and went inside to tell the clerk what I wanted to do, she says 'I can't take care of that for you; you must wait outside in your vehicle and a ticket writer will come take down what you need'. So I did exactly what she advised me to do. 15 minutes later, I am still sitting outside in my hot car, with 5 kids and no one has even spoken to me. I got out and went to find someone, and was greeted apologeticly by one employee. He tried to get something done for me but was told that the ticket writer went to lunch 20 minutes ago. He even told them that I had been out there waiting and should have been advised of that. Eventually this gentleman took care of what I needed so that my ticket can get turned in. I was told that I was car number 3 in line, and I told him that was fine, I had 2 hours of time to spare.Back inside, as I waited, I was told that it would not take that long and they would get to me ASAP. I only need two tires re-balanced. Sadly the man that took care of me in the beginning had taken his lunch and I feel that is where the slip up happened. There were 8 different employees out there, with 3 in the cashier area, and from my experience from working at a tire shop, this was way more employees than the place needed, so people should have been in and out of there in less than 30 minutes.2 hours and 10 minutes later, 3 more vehicles (that got tire service, not oil changes) had been placed ahead of me and I was out of time. I watched them come and go and here I was still waiting for the work to be started. I asked for my keys and left, with out the service that I was there to receive. The entire department, with the exception of the one man, did not take care of business. Promote the man with a beard and fire all the rest!!!

Let me start off by saying that I am a VERY patient person. I have worked in the service industry in some form or fashion most of my life. I came to get just a standard oil change. There were no other cars in the bay. I arrived behind one other person who pulled up right in front of me. After an hour and 52 mins, I walked back to check on my vehicle only to learn that it had not moved. 4 employees all walking around with absolutely zero sense of urgency. Will never return. Like this review if it deterred you from doing business here.

Sadly, it's hard to get qualified help. Inventory of minivan tires is at a all time low.

I've never thought very highly of anything wal mart but after my battery went dead on my truck I needed it replaced. It being the closest place to me I decided to take a risk. Once they opened up they got me in replaced the battery and got me on my way very quickly. Very pleased with the service.

will NEVER get an oil change here again.1) They take forever2) They don t know what they re doing3) They break your car parts and don t tell you about it.In this case I went to this Walmart (btw all of them do this) got a oil change months passed by went back they told me I had to sign a waiver because my oil was super low I went ahead and did it waited 1 hour 30 minutes with one person ahead of me. Today 6/27/18 i went to Valvoline to get my oil change because i really didn t want to waste all my day waiting on a oil change. The guy at Valvoline told me my oil was leaking due to a stripped out drain plug (which Walmart did and never notified me about) anyways Valvoline replaced it showed me everything was good and I left happy. I rather pay 60+ dollars for a quality oil change than go to any Walmart that has repeatedly broke something in my car and not notify me. I advise everyone else to do the same.

I went in for an oil change the hours online stated 7am I had a few things to do before so wound up getting there early no big deal i waited till they opened. Around 710 I noticed they still hadn't opened I called and no one answered. I walked all the way around and after talking to 3 people they didn't know why they weren't open. The manager of the tire care was then rude when I asked why if it says 7 they weren't open till 730. He told me to talk to a Walmart Manager. So I did. He was friendly but didn't seem to care that j had waited almost 45 mins at that point and still no one had worked on my car.

I usually NEVER go to Wal-Mart auto due to a bad experience with a tire replacement years ago...just so happened they were the cheapest oil change in town so I tried again. Not only did they break my console and NEVER. took it serously or even called me back...and I informed them before I left the parking lot, but they also damaged my tire replacing a valve stem...so now I have to pay for a new tire as well!!!!! Now I remember why I pay more to go somewhere else!!!!

We were stuck in the store for 2 hours before they told us they couldn't fix my tire because the hole was out of the range they are allowed to fix. After the first hour we went to check on it & they hadn't even started yet because they couldn't find my car... Even though it was parked like 60 feet in front of the bays... They even had my keys, I guess they were too stupid to press the lock button to make my car honk...Never using this Wal-Mart Tire Center again.

Had a tire go flat, first time in 20 years. Staff repaired it very quickly and we're great to work with.

For being an Auto service shop, one would assume they know about vehicles. I found out today they do not and I was informed this by an employee there. I would NOT recommend at ALL to anyone. Wal-Mart is true to what we have come to expect from them: Employees do not care to help customers or they have no clue what they are doing.

Good prices. Great tires. Good prices on oil changes. Bays are cleaner than the inside of the store. Most of the employees are happy and friendly.

Affordable, not fast but they are usually busy and the wait is reasonable when taking the volume of customers into account. I usually plan my shopping at the same time and it's usually ready before I'm done.

On a Saturday evening they didn't hesitate to get us in to patch a flat only a half hour before they were closing. Did a great job and were extremely nice.

They work fast when they get to you but having someone come out and physically approach about the service you need can take a while, at times.

They put the tires on the back instead of the front, which is what I requested. 2 out of 5 , would not recommend
