Went in to pick out a new Mazda with my wife. Best car buying experience we've had! Entire team was polite courteous and extremely friendly! No pressure tactics at all and we were very satisfied! Cannot recommend Velocity enough!

Truly a top-tier car buying experience at Velocity! Their entire staff were kind & accommodating. Lily Urea, our product specialist, was an absolute pleasure to work with, helping my fiance and I to explore our options without feeling pressured and actively advocating for our autonomy throughout the process. Both she and Jose Garca, their manager, went above and beyond in making the whole thing an awesome experience.Between the excellent service, extensive inventory, and no hidden fees, we cannot recommend Velocity enough!

Took my vehicle here after another local mazda dealership couldn t figure out what was wrong with my vehicle. Lenard was my service agent and he was excellent from start to finish. He provided me with a loaner vehicle and had my vehicle a week. They were very thorough with their diagnosis and even found an additional issue which they repaired. I ll never go to another Mazda dealership again! Thank you Lenard!

If you are car shopping in this economy, I really encourage you to go to Velocity Mazda. Lily made the experience pain-free. It was the best car shopping experience I have ever had.Interest rates are 3.9% for a 36-month loan (you do need good credit). The Mazda CX 5 was the car of the year by Consumer Reports for 2023. I cannot begin to tell you what it feels like. The heated seats! I haven't had a radio for 5 years. I haven't even had hubcaps for over 5 yrs...I lost them on highways, one by one over the years. It starts with a button, not a key. There are 643567 safety features on it. I can start it from inside the house during the winter! It has a screen like an iPad and I can tell it to call someone without me touching anything! No, I didn't pay extra for anything...it came that way. The Saturn, which I am replacing with this, is 21 years old. The Saturn was my first car with power windows. I thought that was as good as it got. LolNot only is the car amazing, but Lilly and Silvio were awesome. No pressure whatsoever. They are very knowledgeable about their fields. Lily is a downright blessing to anyone she comes in contact with!

Absolute INCREDIBLE experience with Velocity Mazda! Jose, the manager was fantastic to work with. He made it so easy to get everything done in a very efficient manner. We were even able to do this transaction remotely, as I don t currently live in Tyler/East texas area. The dealership itself is also so very nice. It looks brand new! I would highly recommend this location if you re looking for a new ride! They are fantastic.

I had the pleasure of working with Damone Feldman when I purchased my CX-30 2023 back in January 2023 at Velocity Mazda. Damone s friendly and attentive approach made the car-buying process a breeze. He provided excellent assistance, ensuring I made an informed decision. I couldn t be happier with my new car, and the positive experience at Velocity Mazda. Thanks to Damone and the team for their outstanding service!

Update: After sale experience, I personally wanted some things done to my new mazda during the purchase. They said they would take care if it next week as my schedule did not allow for right then. We included it in the sale and I purchased the vehicle. They took very good care of me after the sale and got everything done that I wanted with no issue or hiccup. It was nice to see they really cared after the sale, even John saw me and made time to come over to make sure it was to my liking.Had a very pleasant trade in experience thanks to John M. and the team at Velocity. Mazda is doing different things than other dealerships and it shows in a good way. They are respectful and non pushy, probably because they know they have a great product and amazing value/service. I got a CX-5 and hands down best value on the road right now. Don t believe me look at all the youtube reviews about it.Love my suv and love my experience with them, the whole team from the person who priced my trade to the finance guy. The finance manager was able to achieve better terms than I could on my own and it was with mazda finance which is another plus. John was a breath of fresh air and made sure each stage was seamless. Kudos to whoever is managing Velocity you built an amazing team.

I can't say and be appreciative as much as I can to Velocity Mazda and John Musoga. I contacted them about a truck they had and John got back ahold of me. I live 1000 miles from the dealership in Va. The purchase would be difficult. I told John what my budget was and he had my back. I purchased the truck with fees and even delivery charges to VA under my budget. John done great n made this internet sale a success. They were 5000 cheaper for the mileage that was on the truck compared with everything else you found on internet. My experience with them was great n very satisfying. Thanks John

As a rule, I just hate dealing with car dealerships. I don't like the games or the high pressure. However, my experience with Velocity Mazda was easy, calm and pleasant. No pressure. Great experience. (Fun car.) Ask for Damone.

I absolutely love this dealership! The easiest car buying experience in my family s life. I highly recommend coming here. Not only will you find the vehicle to suit your needs, but the customer service is outstanding! Lily was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and simplified the whole car buying process. I love the fact I never felt persuaded into anything. I came in with a knowing of what I wanted and left with my expectations beyond exceeded. The whole ordeal made me feel extremely prioritized and grateful. Thank you, keep up the great work!

If I could rate Velocity service lower than one star I would. I have a Mazada 6 grand touring, the headlight was hit by a rock and it broke. Went to the dealer and he wanted over $1000 plus labor to replace it. had them order the part only later that day I discovered I could have the light replaced for $500. Called Velocity requesting the part be canceled. Got a call from the service center telling me that I would have to pay 20% ($200) for restocking fee.

The service department was a great experience. Blown away. They communicated professionally throughout the whole process. Travis, Diana, Kyle & Joseph sent videos prior, clearly stated the cost of what needed to be fixed, setup a loaner and then dropped off our vehicle and grabbed the loaner. Everything went great. Thank you!

I spoke with Diana at the service department at velocity Mazda in Tyler Texas. She was very knowledgeable and straightforward with me about all the repairs being done on this vehicle. If I could give her six stars I would. This is a great place to get your vehicle serviced.

We recently purchased our first Mazda, so this was our first experience with Velocity. We were highly impressed with the dealership, it's staff, the selection (even with the current new car shortages), the buying (and trading-in) process...as well as a fair deal, especially while others are selling well over MSRP.We were in the market for a new SUV for my wife. It was a bad time to be looking, but we did it...and made it through! I had my wife test drive nearly every make and model available in East Texas and after our extensive research, we landed with Mazda...and thankfully, at Velocity in Tyler. Previously, she had mostly driven Fords. Now, to stay on topic of reviewing "a place"...our salesman, Jonathan Villa Montelongo (Product Specialist)-(when we first met him, he was only a few weeks into being a car salesman) was great! He was patient (as we took our time to test drive other makes); he was extremely knowledgeable...both with Mazda and engines/mechanics as well; and he stayed in touch with us...always there to answer any questions we had (or find someone that could help us, if he didn't know) without ever being pushy. We also dealt with John Musoga (F&I Manager) both at the level of sales (he assisted Johnathan very well, we appreciated that) and in financing. Neither of them ever tried to up-sell...anything, it was great! In the end: the purchase, financing and the amount of time Johnathan took to walk my wife through every option and tech included on her vehicle...was painless, smooth and well appreciated.Combined, my wife and I have purchased around a dozen vehicles over the years...both new and used, and this was the first time that I had no regrets...due to the whole process with these guys and Velocity. In fact, I always felt comfortable and held a smile on my face...not always the case for me, when buying any car!In closing, I highly recommend YOU:- Give Mazda a fair look!- Only deal with Velocity!- Ask for Jonathan!- Zoom-Zoom!

I researched a vehicle and found it was only available at Velocity Mazda in Tyler (about 100 miles from me). My salesman Damone was very helpful in getting everything ready for me and it took no more than 30 minutes to finish the entire transaction. Thanks as well to their finance department for getting me in and out quickly.

Joe was so helpful from the start to the very end! He was able to answer all of our questions and gave us the absolute best service. Car dealerships have always given me the run around but Joe made sure to be transparent from our first conversation to the very end. I had an amazing experience and would recommend you ask for him if you re in the market for a new ride!

Unpleasant experience. Our car was purchased here so we brought the car back in for a check engine light. They kept our only vehicle over the weekend while we're in the middle of the process of moving, and the inspection video they sent us they flagged in red "urgent attention" categories things like the wiper blades and the key fob battery. Assumably to pad the nearly $4000 bill and stress us into paying for everything with false urgency. When questioned, the manager informed us that they need to make a profit. To be fair, a dealership isn't really where we should have taken a car to be worked on, regardless of whatever tech they have to check the engine codes. But seeing a video of them wasting time on wiper blades and door noises while presenting a massive bill for labor for an easy-to-exchange part made the overall experience very frustrating and honestly rather skeevy.

Darby my sales rep was amazing! She helped me find the right color and explained everything to me really well. She communicated excellent especially being a long distance customer (did most of deal from home in dallas)...Jose was extremely helpful in getting me the financing I needed and also getting me a warranty that fit my needs. They didnt sell me stuff that wouldnt benefit me like ive experienced in other dealers. The car is immaculate. Darby took me through all the bells and whistles and explained how it all worked. Camden the GM also introduced himself and got us some hats (which we love)! All in all for buying my first NEW car It truly was a great experience and I dont know how it could have been better. I am sending anyone I know there especially if they need/want a Mazda!!!

Velocity was great in helping me find my new car. Everyone is very helpful and polite. My salesman Damone Feldman was amazing. He was helpful, patient, and helped me make the right car choice for me. You should definitely go to Velocity Mazda for your next car.

I brought my vehicle to the Velocity service department for an oil change and diagnosis of a rattling noise in a certain area I'd been hearing when I drove over a bump. They managed to recommend about $2000 in "necessary" repairs in a video estimate (I showed the video to a relative with extensive mechanic experience and he indicated that half of it wasn't needed, the other half was not urgent, and none of it explained the noise). I suspect they didn't try to recreate the noise until I called and politely declined the recommended services because of lack of funds. At that point, their service manager drove the car and discovered the noise was something embarrassingly simple (on my end, I really should have noticed this)-- one of the fold-down seats wasn't latched properly and was bouncing around. I paid for the oil change, they waived the diagnostic fee, and I left considering that I might schedule at least one of the recommended services when my finances improved. When I returned to my car after getting my keys back, the headlights were on. I assumed this was because they had just driven it around from the shop area and thought nothing of it. Unfortunately, when I arrived home (about ten minutes and two miles later), I realized that the headlights remained on even though the switch and the car were both off. Back to Velocity I went, where I was informed after a lengthy wait (during which I was missing work) that a certain part had shorted out, and that it would be close to $300 for that repair.I did not believe I should be paying to fix an issue that wasn't there when I dropped the car off, but was when I picked it up (so clearly occurred when they had custody and control of the vehicle). They insisted that it couldn't possibly have been their fault, then acted like they were doing me a favor by not charging me "markup," but just "parts and labor"-- so, what, they dropped the $20 in shop supplies? How helpful. Considering it was a choice between a) letting them do the repair, getting my car back that day, and b) likely waiting days for another shop to get the part in, and having to disconnect my battery every time I parked until then, I really didn't HAVE a choice. I wanted to push harder on the point that this part just mysteriously broke *during* the time they had the vehicle (not before or after), in which a) their technicians were working on my car, and b) I refused a number of costly repairs that didn't explain the issue I was there for... but I was concerned that they would do something else bad to my car if I pressed the issue any further. In my opinion, the most favorable possibility is that they broke something on my vehicle while doing the other work, didn't notice, and refused to take any responsibility-- I find it incredibly unlikely that the part just coincidentally failed in the few hours the car was out of my possession. It's also not impossible that they got mad that I didn't want to spend the $2k, and purposely damaged the car so they could get some money out of me that way-- I'd like to think that isn't true, but you just never know with businesses these days, and I wasn't present in the shop while the employees were working on my car to know for sure what they did. In any case, I believe Velocity's handling of the problem was dishonest and greedy, focused on taking advantage of the situation to make money rather than customer care or retention, and I have absolutely no faith in the quality of the repair. If the monetary loss were any higher, I'd be filing a lawsuit in the coming days, but as it is, I will be making a report to the state attorney general for what I believe are unscrupulous business practices in violation of the DTPA.It probably goes without saying that I will never return here for any reason (I'll be purchasing a new car in the fairly near future, and it will be another Mazda, but not from this dealership), and I wouldn't recommend anyone allow their service department to touch your vehicle.
