One of the Best Shops in the area. They helped me out in a big pinch when a vehicle I'd had purchased needed a timing belt but I didn't have the time to do it and thought I could wait a week. (Never put off maintenance itl bite you like it did me.) They were professional prompt and took care of me despite never seeing me or the truck before. And to top it off they have BG there. Awesome made in the USA products that do what they say they do. The protection plan is a plus too!When I'm down in Texas I'm bringing whatever car i drive down to them for any service work.

Have any of yall ever wondered if there was ever a perfect mechanic, well the answer is no, however if yall are looking for a shop with Integrity, Honesty THIS IS THE SHOP, they take the time to explain why and explain how to repair your vehicle The right the first time This shop was recommended by Dean Stewart, yes from Stewart Automative in Tyler, so if you are ever in need for for an honest shop give these guys a holla, Thank You everyone at Mikes My Wife an I appreciate yall

I spend a lot of time on the road; with my band and with my family. My family vehicle (Chevy Suburban) broke down in Tyler, TX and I found Mike's Automotive on Google and went to his shop strictly because of the high reviews. Mike and his entire crew were extremely personable, straight forward and got right to work on my vehicle as soon as I arrived. They figured out the problem within a few minutes and had the part delivered within 1 hour. Thank you Mike, Carlos, and your entire team for the great work...and more importantly, for being good, honest people. We recently moved to the Tyler area and have been looking for a reliable and honest mechanic. Our 2008 Tundra was in need of some brake repair and after an internet search we found Mike's Automotive Repair shop. Mike's shop had great reviews so we dropped off our truck in the morning and that same afternoon it was fixed. Mike took time to explain the repairs that were made and some areas to keep an eye on for our old truck. Great service, we highly recommend Mike's auto repair. Mike's Automotive has been working on our cars for the last three years. I don't know much about cars, so I'm always apprehensive about who I'll use. I'm always afraid I'll be taken advantage of. I tried Mike's out on one of the few issues I actually knew something about, and they were great. They even made an effort to keep my costs low. I was very impressed. I've used them 2-3 times since and always received the same level of honesty and service. Good people. Great owners.

My 2003 Toyota Camry XLE was having vibration issues at different speeds. While on military leave visiting family, I decided to have Mikes Automotive take a look at the vehicle and see what they could find after my Dad recommended them to me. Mike and Joe were very helpful throughout the entire process and they found the issue was my drive axles. They gave me the quote which was fair and well priced. I had the car fixed and it feels like a new vehicle. I couldn't ask for a more pleasurable experience from an automotive shop and just had to write a positive review. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP.

This is the only automotive shop in Tyler that I will ever use! They are honest, dependable and trustworthy! Especially if you are a woman or single mom! This is a shop you can trust! They are very reasonable and won't try to "fix" things that aren't required! Mike and his staff are amazing! I will be a customer for life!

Late on making this review but I finally got around to it after helping my grandmother. She took her car here & they replaced things that didn't need to be replaced, didn't repair the actual problem & left her with a $600 bill. She called to try and negotiate a deal because she didn't authorize the other repairs but they wouldn't budge. So disappointed with the way she was treated & she refused to let me call. Thankfully we found a good mechanic who did the actual repair for next to nothing after we called 6 other shops!

I just moved back to Tyler and was glad to see Mike had his own shop. I will definitely be using him. I was reintroduced to him by a friend of mine who was getting repairs done. He was polite and started and finished the problem quickly as Mike always did before. I would recommend him to anyone needing a honest and reliable mechanic.

This place is great! Best mechanic in ETx! My mother brought her vehicle in and they treated her with more respect than her past mechanics in the Mineola area! They explained everything clearly and made sure she understood what was going on. They also only fixed what was needed and helped hunt an elusive issue she's had with her headlights for 2 years.

Mike's Automotive demonstrated the epitome of customer service. They were kind and went out of their way to make sure I was a satisfied customer. Since I only have one vehicle, they took me home and picked me up when the work was done. The problem was an obscure one, but they stuck with it until it was resolved. I recommend them 100%.

There is ONE mechanic in Tyler to take your vehicle to. Mike and his guys are honest and professional people. I took my wife's Ford Explorer to have the climate control screen looked at. Joe ran diagnostics but was having trouble figuring out the issue. I called the Ford house and was about to take there, preparing myself to have to spend $2,000. However, when I went to pick the car up Mike was in the driver seat running tests on the car and as it turned out, they had fixed the problem-saving me potentially thousands. They could have just as easily told me that the part was just going to have to be replaced, but they were diligent and honest in their work. Thank you to all of the people at Mike's Automotive-we appreciate you more than you know!

Excellent car repair. Highly recommend if you have auto problems. They will diagnose your auto and tell you what the issues are. They will explain what is needed and what it will cost to repair. These guys are very good at what they do. Honest and reliable. They do guarantee there work.

Mike s Automotive is the place to go! I had a weird issue with my truck and they took the time to get it diagnosed and give me multiple options. Family and locally owned is always a plus with great service

I don't understand how can you run a business like this? Called a week ago to bring the car for o2 sensors and suspension issues. The lady was nice on the phone and personally but when I got the car to the shop she asked the mechanic and came back only to tell me to go somewhere else. Wasted my time driving for an hour .
