I had a phenomenal experience with Honest-1. I took my truck in for a coolant leak issue, and it was diagnosed quickly and repaired correctly and promptly. The digital report was very helpful and allowed me to see exactly what they were seeing from the comfort of my home. The staff is super friendly as well! Sarah, Ralph, and Steven were all kind, understanding, and friendly. I won't hesitate to bring my vehicles here in the future.

I first tried Honest 1 because I got $50 off my deductible with my extended coverage plan there. At first, I was a little skeptical just because of the name. You know, like how the name Honest John s Used Cars would make you cringe?Anyway, we had an issue with the heat in our Jeep. Honest 1 did a great job communicating with the warranty company. Problem fixed. But then, it wasn t. And it wasn t because Honest 1 didn t try to track down the issue. They analyzed the most likely cause of the issue and addressed it. Turns out, they weren t wrong, but there was a bigger issue. So, they fixed that. And all was well.Until later a few weeks, when it wasn t. Brought it back, did a deep dive into the issue, and discovered why the problem was persisting. Finally got to the root of the issue. Dealt with.Warranty paid the expensive parts. I was only out a couple hundred for things not covered.But here s why I m giving them 5 stars: customer service. The entire time they were handling the issue, they kept me updated. Brought me into the shop to show me what s going on. Presented options to me. Really made sure I understood what was going on, why, etc.I highly recommend Ralph, Sarah, Travis, and all of the crew at Honest 1. Next time I m looking to buy a used car, I m taking it there for them to give a general look-over.

I was introduced to Honest 1 through my extended warranty company. From day 1, they have been honest and truly taken care of me and my car. From Sarah up front, to the mechanics, and the owner of the shop who runs their shuttle service - everyone has been wonderful! They'll be my go to any time I need something taken care of on any of my vehicles!

I ve lived in 7 states, visited over 100+ service departments. Hands down the best auto repair facility I ve ever had the opportunity to work with. Travis was FANTASTIC with updates and information. The owner was next level pleasant. Took care of it without delay, highly recommend. Won t get car service anywhere else moving forward.

Sarah and the team at Honest 1 did an outstanding job with my vehicle. They walked me through the estimate, kept me apprised of the work being done, and offered a shuttle as needed. I ve been going for the past 5 years and plan to continue for many, many more!

I travel the country full time in my rv. Dash light on the truck suggested it was time for an oil change. I stopped by Honest-1 to make an appointment hoping they could squeeze me in on short notice. They juggled their schedule a bit and changed my oil while I waited. I asked about having the shocks changed as well, they made that happen as well. The staff at Honest-1 is super friendly, courteous and knowledgeable answering my every question. I am totally happy with my experience here and would not hesitate returning.

They desire 10 stars. I dropped my car off this morning and they had it fixed before 3 pm. They said it was something simple, so they said, "No Charge". That was a first. I have never hear that from an auto repair shop. They even leave cookies in the car.Everyone was friendly, polite and a joy to be around. They have all my business from now on. Needed a new starter. The price was very good, and got taken care of that day. Very friendly, and even offer a car service to drop you off at home and pick you up. Definitely recommend this place for EVERYONE.

Great people, great mechanics, great prices. Most of all a kind and caring professional staff. Fix what you need and leave it at that not tell you you need to fix the whole car. There name is true HONEST.... need your car looked at or worked on. This is the place. The only place I would take my car. The rest of Tyler places will never get my business. GREAT JOB!!!! Although no one ever wants to receive the bad news of a costly car repair. We all know it comes with the ownership of a vehicle. However, I was recently directed to this facility and I can honestly say I am glad I was. Ryan was my service adviser. After making initial contact with him and his warm greeting. I decided to give the folks a chance. I knew I was in for a fairly major repair so I was already not excited. But Ryan calmly walked me through the process of the diagnoses. It was definitely a costly repair and complicated so he allowed me to try and source some options for alternate parts that would solve my current issue. Saving me $1500.00. He gave me an explanation as what to expect with the repair and length of time it would take. There was no questions unanswered, frustrations generated by bad communication or feeling of deceptive practices. Just good old fashion upfront and honest car repair. This is very rare to find these days and I for one really appreciate it when I find a place I can feel this level of confidence in. I would tell all my friends and neighbors about this place and suggest it to anyone who needs a "Honest" shop to deal with. No puns intended, but the place is aptly named. Went there because they had good reviews and felt like I could trust them. Paid 2,900 to fix three oil leaks which included 1,400 in labor for one of the leaks ..and my car is still leaking oil and shooting out smoke. Taking it back to them so they can finish repairing my car or issue a refund.

Labor prices are a bit steep, but a lot of auto shops are now (unfortunately). I do commend them for being detailed and up-front with the pricing, as well as being quick with my oil change and quote for other services. Based on my experience I would highly recommend to at least start here if not complete all service here.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

DONT USE THEM!!!I have never left a bad review in my life, but, my "Honest" opinion, not impressed at all. Being a mechanic myself and having done the work before, I feel like this place overcharges and isn't very honest. My first issue, 7700$ for an engine swap in an 01 BMW 3 series. 3000$ in labor 3000$ for a used engine with warranty that I can find myself for HALF the price, and 1700 in misc. SALVAGEABLE parts from the engine being removed. Second issue, my BRAND NEW bluetooth radio was stolen out of my car RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE SHOP DOORS! I walk in to tell them my radio is missing, the lady at the front tells me no... like ok where did it go then? STILL waiting on an answer to find out if they even caught it on video. They're lucky to get 2 stars from me. They only got that because the owner was polite and the mechanic helped me load and unload the vehicle. Once again, not impressed with Honest-1 Auto Care. Feel free to comment your explanation. I'd LOVE to hear your excuses.Reply - so in other worder you guys do not take responsibility for anything that happens to customer vehicles while in YOUR posession. Prime example of a careless shop. That alone is enough reason to steer clear of your business. Secondly, with your outrages prices. The only excuse you can give is to lay the blame on the vendor... laughable to be honest. And 3rd and foremost, you deserve nothing more than the 2 stars you recieved. Apparently many people have issues with the pricing and "mark ups", which isn't very honest. If you guys solely relied on honest work, I'm sure you'd be out of business by now. Best of luck to you guys but you won't be getting any referee's from me. I m honestly disappointed with my experience here. I came in with issues with my air conditioner, and after paying over $200 to run tests and recharge my Freon, they discovered the compressor in my system was out, and quoted me over $2,300 to have it fixed. After getting second, third, and fourth opinions from different, unconnected people in the mechanic field, I discovered that this is almost twice what I would have been charged at a place that was, ironically, more honest. I am not the type to leave a review, but I m honestly shocked. I understand that employees need to be paid, and businesses need to be run, but to double what other mechanics charge is absurd. I would not recommend this place to any woman who isn t familiar with this industry.

My husband has used Honest 1 for a few years now so when he passed away and my son s car needed an oil change, I knew who to call. The whole car maintenance routine was very new to me since my husband always took care of those things, but when I called to inquire, Sarah was incredibly kind and helpful. She confirmed that the car was due (in this case past due) for an oil change, went over the cost upfront, scheduled me for the same day, reviewed what was done and potential concerns, and went over the future service needs when I picked up the car. When finished checking out, she walked me to my car where there was a pack of Milano cookies in the cup holder. Then I remembered that my husband would always bring that pack of cookies home to me after picking up a car from Honest 1 because he knew they were my favorite, which touched my heart. The whole experience was thorough, professional, and kind.Service: Oil change

I was referred here by a coworker. I am so glad to have been . Everyone was helpful and very professional even though it was apparent they were busy. They answered my questions, helped me navigate my warranty company to make repairs. Helping me keep my cost down. I am grateful for the opportunity to find a shop that fits its name. Honest 1 is the shop I will use for all my vehicles repairs. Thank you Travis As a funny but kind gesture I said he was a hero. Lol Looking forward to seeing you again when life unravels under the hood of my car or I hear a strange noise that is concerning. I had my valve lifters replaced on one side of my engine. They did a really good job on the diagnostic very thorough sent me a link so I can visually see what repairs may be in the future. My car was in the shop for 3 days and I was shuttled a couple times only to the shop and back to my job. Owner very nice. However after I picked up my vehicle on a Friday, I drove back to my job to work 2 more hours before I was off. When I went to drive my newly repaired car home it would not start. It wouldn't even attempt to start which was not part of the original problem. Had a brand new battery put in a month beforehand. I checked my cables and the red cables were loose so loose I could pick them up off the terminal by hand so disappointing. I was stuck there till 9pm after I got off at 6pm trying to fix the problem and get the car running. I had work the next day and shop was closed until Monday. I was very very disappointed. I had to leave it there and spend another $40 on lyft rides to and from my job on Saturday after spending 2,000+ on car repairs. On Monday they paid for tow to their shop and brought my car back. Only thing I was told was a cable was loose that didn't appear loose. Didn't really receive any apology for the inconvenience of it all had to ask twice what was the issue my tak away from it was that whoever finished my vehicle was rushing and sloppy no tightening of the battery cables was a huge letdown there's not really an excuse for something so simple. My manager had been looking into car repair but decided against using honest 1 for these issues. My coworkers thought I should have been reimbursed for my lyft charges that following day since the issue was their mistake. I just wish I had been apologized to and felt like my extra 2 days with no car were understood by whomever did the sloppy finish.not sure if i will use them again or not. Have been given other recommendations by coworkers.

I am blown away every time I come here. Honest 1 goes above and beyond from the beginning of your service visit until the end. The waiting area is extremely accommodating and first class, the front desk is super informative and friendly, and the work done is always fast and efficient. I won t go anywhere else to get my oil changed and have recommended this place to all of my friends and family.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

I had a wonderful experience. They were kind enough to shuttle me home and picked me up to get my car once it was complete. I am sure the retrieval is not part of the norm but my circumstances were a little extreme. So funny story the shuttle driver is super kind we talked all the way back to the shop; get back to the shop to get my car and low and behold he s actually the owner! Now that s HUMBLE!! After having an issue at a local auto repair facility in Minden, LA, I found Honest-1 online. I liked the way everything sounded and the reviews were great. I drove over two hours to get here at 8:00 AM to give them plenty of time to work on my car.They looked at the car and said they would have to do some diagnostic work and have me the diagnostic fee amount. Once the diagnostics were done they brought a printout of the issues with the itemized part and labor costs. I signed the work order and everything was completed in about 3 hours.This is the best automotive shop I have ever been to. I like businesses that make it easy and Honest-1 certainly does. I will certainly be back. It was a pleasure doing business with them and the prices were fair.

my car s transmission completely broke and made driving impossible, all on a friday afternoon when they were closed. i called and luckily they agreed to let me drop off my car over the weekend to look at it monday. travis was very helpful and got back to me on the issues my car had within two days. unfortunately the cost of repairs is more than the car is worth so i didn t have anything done on it, but they didn t charge me for the initial inspection or holding my car on their lot for a few days. when i get a vehicle that ACTUALLY WORKS i ll be taking it to honest-1 every time :)Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I originally had a battery going dead all the time so I took my Ford F150 into this shop for diagnostic. They found that the car alarm originally installed was draining the battery and they removed the alarm which seemed to be the issue.However, a few days later, I noticed my horn was now not working (was working fine before I took it in) and I went by and advised the shop of this new issue and that I was fairly certain they had somehow disconnected the horn when they removed the car alarm.I also advised the service manager that I wanted to bring the car in for them to look at this issue but that I only had 1 car at the moment and would have to drop it off and wait for the repair. I stressed this several times that I only had 1 car and would have to wait at the shop while they looked at it but also mentioned I did not want to wait at the shop all day.I made an appointment for 8:00 a.m. 12/15 thinking that they could look at it immediately since I had reserved that day/time specifically.Imagine my surprise when I arrived at 8:00 and the service manager asked if I was dropping this off. I said once again that I only had 1 CAR and that I would be waiting in their lobby. She advised they had multiple tickets still open from the previous day and that it would be awhile before they could look at it. It also sounded like it would be a day or so before they could even look at it. Unbelievable. At that point, I left since I work and don't have time to spend all day in their waiting lounge.Here's a tip for management-if you reserve a specific time/day for a customer to bring their car in for repair, you should honor that time slot and start repairs at that time. This should not viewed as just a "drop" off time by your shop.Due to the fact that they most likely disconnected my horn during the previous alarm removal and also the fact that they did not honor my time slot to look at my car, I will not be going back to this repair shop and I cannot recommend their services.Service: Battery

Got spark plugs and one ignition coil replaced plus some general maintenance done at this facility - ended up paying around 1400 overall. Next day engine light comes on, now im told I need to replace rest of ignition coils (3) for 790 and that they wouldn t charge me labor costs. I went to dealership and got quoted 150 per ignition coil for genuine parts, but somehow this place wanted to charge over 200 per aftermarket coil?? Parts are severely overpriced and they could not explain difference in price?? Do your homework before getting work done here. They ve got a steep makeup on parts, but labor might be a fair price.Service: General repairs & maintenance

This place is amazing!!! I was searching high and low for a mechanic to be able to diagnose my car and Honest-1 Auto Care took care of me!! They did not charge me for the diagnostic and offered me a ride to and from work!! Sarah provided me with quotes for everything!! I felt good about Honest-1 Auto Care when I stepped into their waiting area. It was very clean and the owner greeted me with a smile and a handshake. They diagnosed my truck and then took me into the shop so I could see what needed to be fixed. Their prices were reasonable. I m on a fixed income so I could only get part of the truck fixed. They had no problem with that and actually suggested what needed to be fixed immediately and how soon I should try to have other repairs made.Excellent mechanics!!!!
