Excellent service! Careful mechanics. They fixed the problem I came in for, and alerted me to an emergency problem the car was having that I was totally unaware of, and fixed that as well. The total was affordable, and that was extremely important to me. I waited there, and all of that work was done in about 2 hours. Pretty impressive, because they were very busy.

Austin at the Tyler, Texas Firestone Store, went above and beyond to take care of me and the problems I was having with my car/battery. It wasn t even Firestone s problem, but another company s mess, Keith Hodges Collision Center, and Austin did a fabulous job of correcting the situation and getting me back on the road in 24 hours. Now that is EXCELLENT customer service. And is why I have used Firestone for all of car service needs for at least 15 years. I will continue to use Firestone for all of my car service needs in the future! I highly commend Austin for providing me with compassionate and knowledgeable customer service. And I recommend the Tyler store to everyone!!!

Costumer service was ok but wait time is terrible. If you plan on getting tires don't. I took 5 hours of waiting for them just to tell us they don't have the tires even though we called before coming and they said they had them. Even when we walked in they said they had the tires. They said it might take an hour and a half but ended up being 6 hours in the end. Worst experience ever. Would NOT recommend.

My experience here was Great, I got helped by Tim & offered certain deals i wasn't aware of and that made my day. The crew there were also very nice and helpful. So my experience at store # 020494 was Great.

My family and I were traveling from KC. While in town, we hit a curb and needed a new tire before heading home.I called up Firestone 10 minutes before closing and they were able to pull up all of my information and road hazard warranty information. They had me in the shop first thing the next morning, communicated with me the entire time, and performed excellent service. Huge shout out to Austin and the rest of the team. You made what could have been a crisis just a minor inconvenience for our family.Cheers!

NEVER BRING YOUR CAR HERE! To start I had to drive up to Firestone twice because their online systems don t connect with their in store systems so I didn t actually have an appointment. The next day I brought my car up and requested an ac service and told them the exact sensor responsible for messing up my AC. They kept my car for two weeks and told me the issue wasn t with my sensor and that it was with my hvac door actuator. They charged me 1,500 dollars to fix this and when I got the car back it was in worse shape than when I brought it in. When I brought the car in, the only issue was that it was blowing hot air and when I got it back it wasn t blowing air at all. The sensor I also requested be replaced was never replaced and I was still charged for it. Along with that they, disconnected my stereo and lied to me and said they didn t. When asked further their manager told me they did in fact unplug it and had no plans on fixing it. Throughout the whole process the manager Tim treated my mom and I awful. *Update* we got the blower motor turned back on and the part that Firestone fixed is not working whatsoever and their management has refused contact with me at all. *update number 2* Firestone is refusing to take responsibility for damaging my car and charging me for it and when I contacted Costumer service they led me on for weeks and told me I would be in contact with a different level of management every couple of days and never once got a response. They are now attempting to get me to bring my car in for an inspection to access liability as I am taking the case to court.

The gentleman handling the front desk was very helpful, to the point, kind and honest. I wish I could recall his name, but he seemed to be a manager of sorts, and made my first visit back to Firestone in a few years a seemingly fair experience. Thanks, man.

I had a 1:00PM appointment, but the car was not touched until 5:20PM!I watched as they literally serviced every walk-in customer before me. When the customer waiting area and parking lot was cleared, they started working on my car.I get being busy but, ignoring a scheduled appointment to service walk-in customers while I watched for over 4 hours is not acceptable!added:I will note that this appointment was made at the Tyler store, not online. Yes, made with a live store employee who noted my car and customer information when I gave them my phone number.

Absolute nightmare. Unbelievable the service of these people. I took my van to them for ac repair. They charged me almost $200 because it was overcharged. To remove and recharge the ac. As soon as I picked it up I realized it wasn't cooling. I went right back in and told them. Of course the gentleman said it was fixed and sent me on my way. Since I live in Odessa and was only passing through, I left to go home. The whole ride from Tyler to odessa without air. A month later as I'm in tyler again, I went back. This time they said it was the compressor and it would be about $1500 to fix it. 4 days later they call and say your van is ready and blowing ice cold air. When I went to pick it up it was blowing extremely hot air and now my check engine light is on. I had to leave the van another 3 days and pay another $400 for a sensor. My check engine light is still on and apart from all this they have Avery very rude female that is a so called manager. I hope I never require service from this location ever again

Was scheduled for 9am but it was probably closer to 10 before they got to my car. Also I was told if I did the credit card application I would receive $50 off, not sure I got that credit. Plan on talking to them tomorrow.

Don't you just hate it when someone tries to pull a fast one over on you because they think you don't know any better. I went to Firestone Tyler to have a tire repaired that had a screw in it (on the flat of the tire, not even close to the edge or the side) I was told the tire could not be repaired due to the position of the screw. The gentleman told me I could leave the screw in there or replace the tire for around $100. It's funny...I went to Discount Tire and they didn't have a problem at all with repairing my tire, not only that...there was no charge. Thank you Discount Tire for not taking advantage of a woman. Customers have choices and I choose to never do business with Firestone ever again, I choose to do business with honest businesses.

Went there for tire rotation and oil change. I knew my check engine light was on and the quoted 5000 plus dollars on the car and with out authorization they looked at the part and broke it. The car ran fine there and then it did not run after that. And ended up replacing the part for a fraction of the cost they were trying to charge me and I won t be back because I thing the are scam artist.Services: Tires, Auto engine diagnostic

Bought 7 new tires at a Bastrop location for my 2004 dodge ram 3500 dually. Moved to Tyler and drove to this location on a saturday with the truck. I went in for the lifetime free tire rotation. They said bring it sunday. I did not bring it sunday. My wife brought it monday morning. She was turned away because the gross vehicle weight rating of the truck is 12,200 lbs. It is 200 pounds too heavy for their lift. I called up and spoke to the service manager. She said they are down 1 jack and have been for some time. I asked who is responsible for the purchase of a new jack. She said corporate. I called corporate and put in a claim ticket. Customer rep said the general manager will call me in 72 hours. no phone call. 2 weeks later, I called the location. Still no jack. I called customer service. They wanted my email, phone, address, name, preferred contact info just to verify my claim. This was after i gave her the claim number. Like someone's gonna hack my account and get my claim info. After getting more frustrated with her with no updates, I kindly said have a nice day. FIRST OFF, the TRUCK does not weigh 12,200 POUNDS. That is the gross vehicle weight rating. It's the amount of weight the truck can legally carry based on the axle ratings! Yall are vehicle people. Incompetent! There's some person making these rules who doesn't know was GVW is. Once you read this. Call up your president and tell him to get his head out of his.... This was my only, and last experience with firestone, and their tires, which are changing shape at every tire pressure and location. I honestly don't know how you stay in business. No my name is not Joe.

Very unprofessional made appointment online they said they new nothing about it actually went there 2 days in a row never got in said I was going somewhere else the guy behind counter said good luck with that told me all dealships in town were 3 weeks behind and pep boys was 3 days behind drove straight to pep boys was in an out in less than an hour and a half pickup fixed and blowing cold air NEVER GO BACK TO FIRESTONE and have told several of my friends and they have had same experience with firestone. I wouldn't give them a half a star.

Two cars, two times, they failed... I wish we had another Firestone branch in Tyler. Last week was the second time they did not finish the work on time... Seven hours the first time, five hours the second to do alignment and balance to my car. And, I had to go back the following day to have the work completed. I have lifetime alignment and balance in my cars, which is very convenient and worked great for me during 15 yeas as Firestone client elsewhere. On top of that, the car pulls to the right now... Was the work done properly?

In two visits totalling $600 they never fixed problem. Not only that, they wanted it a third time to change the control panel of my air conditioner. This would have been another 6?? wasted: I took it to the dealer instead....it had three other problems, none of which were the control panel and none which Firestone mentioned...Service: Air conditioningService: Air conditioning

Great service! I came in with a slow air leak in a tire and ultimately had to replace the tire. The staff kept me updated with information at every stage and provided me with all available options. It was nice being informed of all choices and given recommendations. I will be back when I have other vehicle repair/maintenance needs.

I was expecting bad news when I arrived and found out my tires I ordered did not make it in and I was expecting a wasted trip. But they compensated me by upgrading to more expensive tires to avoid a wasted trip. That's what customer service is all about! Gives me all the reason to have all my vehicles serviced here!
