I'm from out of town and was visiting a sick family member in Tyler when I saw a used truck for sale. I had to leave town quickly and couldn't look at the truck in person. Marvin, at ET Auto went to the dealer, test drove the truck and did a full inspection. I bought the truck online and had it delivered to my house. It is exactly what Marvin said! Outstanding service given to someone who doesn't even live in Tyler. I highly recommend East Texas Automotive!

Great experience. My work truck broke down in the middle of my work day. I called them and asked if I could bring it in and be seen right then. They were pretty busy right then but when I said I had to be back at work, they took my truck right back and within a couple hours had the problem fixed, charged a very fair price, and had me back to work. I will be bringing all my future professional and personal vehicles here. Great experience and highly recommend. Thanks east Texas Automotive!!

Couldn t find anyone that accepted Enterprise fleet service in East Texas. I made one call to East Texas Automotive and they called Enterprise immediately and got it setup. Anytime I have a service need whether it be oil change or hood and complete front end rebuild from being tossed in a tornado I take it to East Texas automotive no questions asked!!! Marvin Salcido the owner is a wonderful man and Tim the manager is always welcoming upfront and honest I won t use anyone else!!!

Wish I could give zero stars but that s not an option. They took FULL advantage of a loyal repeat customer. I hope it was worth it because you lost our business. My husband has been going here for years and was just about to get his next set of tires here. Has gotten tires and more for 3 vehicles over 6 years. Never shopped around, never questioned their pricing. Yesterday we were 100% gouged for a battery. I won t share specifics but do your homework. My husband never asked the price because after years of service he trusted this company. I literally almost fell to the floor when they gave me the total You took advantage and should be ashamed. It s not about the money it s the point. I hope the money you made doing that was worth it because we will now find a different place to do business that deserves that. Respect and loyalty, not here. Please look at reviews and do vine work before trusting them. Good luck.

I was a walking. They took my truck right in, drove it over. To the front wheel alignment place by 3 o'clock. I was out the door less than a $100. Fine people good work.

Brandon and his team were professional and courteous from the time I dropped off my vehicle till I picked it up. After diagnosing the issues with my engine they put together a cost for the repairs prior to the work.They explained to me exactly what needed to be done and why. My vehicle needed some major engine work and I am super pleased with the outcome. It s running great. I am so glad they did my work. Brandon and his mechanics are amazing. I wish I could give 10 stars! This place is top notch! Brandon has built a great reputation built on honest and integrity. I recently mixed diesel exhaust fluid into my diesel fuel by accident. My truck would barely run and was getting sicker by the day! I called Brandon and he said to get it to him ASAP. He went above and beyond and had my truck back to me in just a few short days. It's running better now than the day I bought it! He even had the rental company come pick me up and he and his wife Ashley even delivered my truck to me when it was finished! What other mechanic does that? I was so impressed, I left my wife's car there to get some body work on a wreck she had been in previously. I don't often take the time to leave reviews but thought I needed to share my experience! I won't be going anywhere else!

What an amazing family oriented business!! I have been two years without A/C in my car. Brandon and his team got it fixed for me really quick, and the professionalism is just off the charts!! Thank all of you from Cathy, Kristal and 3 month old Baby Liam!!! You've got a customer for life. And lots of referrals coming! Going to keep you busy.

I took my car to East Texas Automotive because they participate in SNAP Auto Loans. I'm used to being able to at least save a few dollars on Auto parts when I've brought my car into a shop, but I wasn't able to here because I was told the shop wouldn't be able to insure the work. That and the pricing would be my only knock. I ended up with a 1200$ bill for a oil pan and having it replaced and my oil filter and oil changed. I appreciated the customer service, Brandon went above and beyond when we had an issue with the SNAP financing. Thank you East Texas Automotive.

This shop was recommended to me for service on my power steering system. I was in and out of their shop in good time, they serviced my vehicle for a fair price & recommended windshield wiper blade replacement at 50% off the cost of materials and labor was free for the wiper blade replacement ($9 total). I would be happy to recommend East Texas Automotive to businesses associates, friends or family. Great service!

THANK YOU, East Texas Automotive for saving the day!Recently I encountered an issue with my vehicle running rough, and eventually it died. After hearing many great comments about East Texas Automotive, I decided to give them a try.They quickly diagnosed the problem, provided a plan of action to get me back on the road. I was excited that they correctly diagnosed the issue, and I received an unexpected bonus. Not only was the vehicle fixed, but it also had quicker acceleration. The bonus of 10-15% better fuel mileage was a huge plus.I walked excited about my experience, but I gained a lot of knowledge from Brandon as he informed me about various aspects of my vehicle that nobody had ever shared. I'm now and informed motorist, and a permanent client of East Texas Automotive.

These guys are are awesome! They're quick, efficient, detail oriented and very professional! Everything they do is neat and done correctly. They also do a pretty sweet Hot Rod restoration!

I have trusted whatever shop Brandon is running, at any given point in time, due to the quality work that is done and the fact the charge for the work is always competitively priced. Every job I have ever had done the final price is always at or below the quoted price. The quality of work is always exceptional!

Brandon literally saved me. I took in my son s truck that had been at another shop for six months with zero progress. Immediately Brandon recognized the problem and began an extensive forensic on the truck. He was able to find the problem, give me options and to this day the truck is running great. I've used them a couple of times and was satisfied with the work. I would use them again and tried to recently. However, was very disappointed when I called them to work on my truck which is a 1990 and was told they can't work on vehicles older than '96 because they don't have the computer to diagnose that old of a car. Yall are mechanics, you cant figure an issue out without a computer? For that reason I give it 3 stars because they are limited in the vehicles they will repair. I will reiterate I was happy with the work they did on my not so old vehicles.

We went to a dealer for our Buick and they said it was going to cost us 1800 to fix some actuators!!! We took our car to east Tx automotive and it was 1/3 the price!! They gave us excellent care and made sure we were satisfied. Love this place!!!

Needed a heater core replaced on a 2000 grand marquis. This was back in may of 2020. When I tried to use the heater this fall it would not blow hot air. I took it to another mechanic who said the radiator reservoir was low of antifreeze and several plugs under the dash were not connected. I am very dissatisfied with the work and will not return.

Best auto shop in Tyler hands down. I trust them from oil changes to larger breakdowns. Owners are SUPER nice and involved in everything that the shop does. I would never consider anyone else.The only downside is they wont drive me to work ;)

If you need car repairs this is the ONLY place you should ever use! They're detail oriented, friendly, and fast. We've been taking our cars to East Texas Automotive for a long time and we haven't ever been disappointed!

Had four shocks, ac tensioner pulley and ac belt replaced on my 2002 Chevy 2500HD. They did an outstanding job! I highly recommend using them.

It's not easy to find a mechanic you can trust, I've used them several times on different vehicles, I've found them to be reliable and trustworthy. They do a good job for fair price.
