I recently moved to the area and was unsure of who to go to but tried this place for a power steering fluid leak that I was having and will certainly be back. Aaron was super nice and very detailed with the work he needed to do and kept me in the loop from start to finish. The time was reasonable and the price ended up being cheaper than I expected. Thank you so much again and I look forward to the next visit.

Aaron was very courteous and very knowledgeable about the issues I was having with my car. He sent detailed messages of what was needed to fix my problems and kept me informed on the process. He was very reasonable and thorough. I would definitely recommend Brown Automotive to anyone wanting an honest mechanic to diagnose your vehicle issue.

MAAAAAAANNNNN, I can't say enough about this place. I was trying to do a day trip in Texas from Louisiana and got hit with a broken belt. My pulley and tensioner failed which led to the belt braking. Lost power steering and the water pump. Thank God we were around the corner from my sister house. Easter weekend so not everyone was open. My sister found Brown's Automotive and hit them up. I drove in and Aaron looked at the car and saw the problem. He couldn't do it that day but even went out the way to suggest people. None of them came through so Monday I came back and he knocked it out for us. Told me the parts and everything. On top of all that, he's veteran friendly. GREAT price and timing. Because of of his professionalism capabilities, we are back on the road. I know this is long but you have to know what I went through and how he solved my family and I problem. I would even drive back to him from Louisiana to work on my car. That's how good I feel about his work Thanks Aaron and Browns Automotive for helping us get back home

I had an amazing experience a couple weeks back Aaron Brown put in a new water pump and a new serpentine belt. The best part was it only took a couple days! I haven t had any issues since! And the whole time he was super nice and had a very positive attitude which helped in that stressful situation! If I have anymore problems I know where I m going!

My daughter was traveling through the Tyler area when her car started making a terrible noise and had difficulty steering. It was Friday afternoon and there were limited possibilities. I spoke with Aaron and arranged for my daughter to drop it off that day. He had it finished by the next afternoon so that she could return home. He was great to deal with and did a quality job with genuine parts. He was a real lifesaver! Thank you sir!! Mike

RAVE!Just like most millennial girls, I m know absolutely nothing about cars. So imagine the look of horror on my face, when the guys i work with told me they noticed fluid was leaking from the front and it smelled like antifreeze.I called my husband is sheer panic not knowing what to do or who to call. And then i remembered that this guy i went to high school with owned a repair shop. I didn t know him that well, like i just knew *of* him. So my husband quickly calls him to see if he has any availability to take in sort of an emergency. Aaron tells him that s he s availabile right now and that i can bring it in right then.I took it in at 3:30 pm on Monday. By 7 pm that SAME day, Aaron texted me saying hey your car is fixed and you can pick it up now if you want. WHAT?!Y all. Not only was the customer service incredibly pleasant, the fact that he had my car diagnosed, fixed, and ready to go in 3 hours is insane to me! I ve sat at PepBoys for over 6 hours just to have a sensor replaced. Aaron showed me all the parts he replaced and thoroughly explain the function of each part.And you wanna know what my favorite thing was, that i deeply appreciated and wish more shops would do?! Give you a receipt from the payment and in the invoice notes have exactly everything that he did with detailed information instead of just having the price of the materials used and labor.Sometimes it s just nice to know *of* a guy. Thank you Aaron for doing all the things and then going above and beyond with your service! Hopefully i won t have to see you again soon (but in the best way possible lol)

I had to get my car towed to this place and the guy was super nice! He explained what was wrong with my car and gave me the broken down amount that I had to pay. He answered any questions that I had and was overall very kind! I will definitely be coming here again!

I desperately needed brake work on my Tiguan, & I called around to a few different shops recommendeded to me in town and none were willing to touch a VW. Was trying desperately to avoid the dealership, Aaron gave me a quote within 15min of calling and had everything done within a couple hours of me dropping my car off! Gave me advice on what I should look to have fixed in the future along with a realistic expectations based on the current status of my vehicle. Very friendly and trustworthy!

My Jeep's starter gently passed away today (a Saturday afternoon) and in the middle of town. I searched auto-mechanic in Google, Brown's Automotive popped to the top, I saw the great reviews and called. Aaron was at my breakdown spot within 10 minutes troubleshooting the problem, he identified it as a dead starter, ordered a new starter, installed it, and had me up and running same day in probably less than 3 hours (includes time for new starter to be delivered)! This place is the best! I had been having trouble with my car for the last 3 months and no one could figure out what was wrong. After taking it to Firestone and Patterson Chrysler Dodge, neither place could give me the correct diagnosis for my car. Both places told me the problem was something totally different and they said it would cost from $1,700 to $2,300. Brown s Automotive told me what the problem really was and it was fixed right away. It didn t take them long to figure out the problem and it was only $594. The right diagnosis and the right price!. I recommend this place if you are needing a place that you can trust with great prices for your automobile s needs. Thank you Aaron and Brown s Automotive!

I highly recommend them. I needed a specific engine rebuild done. He didn't specialize in that so he recommended others that did. That's customer service. I wish more businesses treated customers like he does.

Aaron is the best! Late on a Friday afternoon, we had my car towed to Brown's Automotive after reading good reviews. We were not disappointed! He had to replace my alternator, and had me back in my vehicle the following afternoon. I have found my forever mechanic, and highly recommend to anyone that is looking for quality service at a fair and reasonable price! Thanks so much, Aaron!

The owner Aaron took great car of me and my car. He was able to figure out the problem and fix it very quickly. Seems like a very nice honest guy. Definitely the kind of person you would want take care of your auto needs. Will definitely be back if need be! 10/10

My car started acting up yesterday while i was in Tyler for the day. I called the closest auto shop near me, which happened to be Brown s Automotive. They were able to get me right in, diagnose the problem and fix the issue in less than 2 hours. I would highly recommend this business to anyone based on the service I received. Super professional and very reasonably priced. So thankful they were able to help me!

When my check-engine light came on late Friday evening, I was concerned because very few garages are open on the weekends. I Googled auto repair listings in the Tyler area, searching for someone open on a Saturday. Brown's Automotive popped up and came with outstanding reviews, so I decided to take a chance on this unfamiliar repair shop, and boy, am I glad I did! Aaron diagnosed the problem quickly (my thermostat needed replaced), and he was able to fix the problem that same day! Not only that, but I was due for an oil change, so he squeezed that in as well. I felt Aaron was very knowledgeable and fair in his pricing, and I was sincerely grateful to have the problem fixed before I returned to work on Monday. If you have any issues with your vehicle, I strongly recommend taking it to Brown's Automotive.

I had an issue with my brake system and these guys got me fixed up with same day notice. They instantly got parts in for my car and got everything on fast. Brown automotive is amazing! We were heading out of town and our brakes didn t sound good. He looked over our car to make sure we were good to go. We brought our car back the following week to have him fix the brakes, he had it done in 5 hours even on a very busy day for his crew. We will most defiantly be back! My 3 kids and I were on our way back from TN and broke down in Tyler. We barely made it to a hotel parking lot and had no idea what was wrong with our van. We checked into the hotel bc it was late afternoon and I searched for the nearest mechanic I could find. Brown's automotive got us in the very next morning and had our van fixed that day. Great service and great price to get us back on the road. Highly recommend!!

Aaron was FANTASTIC! Such a great service! My car battery was dead the other morning when I went out to start it to go to the store. I searched and searched for a local mechanic who could come to our residence and replace our dead battery on-site instead of having to hire a tow company. Such an incredible inconvenience and expense to have to have our vehicle towed away just to replace the battery! Aaron was SUPER friendly, responsive, and QUICK to get us taken care of! He came out within an hour of my initial phone call and got us all fixed up! He even brought the battery with him! We had searched online for pricing and availability on batteries for our car. And not only did he beat local providers on pricing for the battery, he installed it for us, on-site. Only took him about 20 minutes. And now we are all good to go! We have driven around town several times since and zero issues. We would highly recommend Aaron and his services! HIRE HIM! If you need new tires without breaking the bank then go see Aaron Brown, the owner of Browns automotive. They sell tires at market price and just charge and install and disposal fee making it much more affordable than other places. As soon as I pulled up he greeted me and pull the car in to get straight to work! I was in and out in 30 mins! I definitely recommend them!!Services: Tires, Tire rotations

I needed a shop I could trust, so I drove two hours to see Aaron for a second opinion on repairs I was advised to get by another shop and I am SO glad I did! He performed a thorough inspection of my vehicle and was honest about which repairs did and did not need to be done. Very informative, he gave me an estimated timeline for the deferred repairs and what to look out for. He did my front end and forward new tires all the way around for a really decent price and he did a great job. I m very happy with his service. Our son is a student at UT Tyler and we live hours away. When his car had issues we had no idea where to take it in Tyler. We found Aaron by reading Google reviews and he is just as honest and helpful as we had read! Before charging us a dime, he gave us ideas on how to get the car started to save us the trouble and expense of towing and repairs. He even came out to the campus to help diagnose the problem. Hopefully we won t have a need for a car repair while he s still away at school, but without hesitation we d use this honest and reliable service again!

Aaron is a lifesaver! My daughter was traveling through Tyler when she had a break emergency at 6pm on a Saturday. We called every place still open, no one else would help her with it being close to closing time. Aaron not only ran around town gathering the parts to fix another mechanics mistake but stayed well after close on to make sure my daughter had a safe car to finish her 16 hour trip back home. Aaron even followed up with an update call to me letting me know what was done & stated that we were welcome to call if there were any other issues at all. I had the pleasure of meeting Aaron, owner of Brown's Automotive today. I have used Amsoil in my cars for 15yrs. Since moving to Tyler, I found there were no repair stations, or oil change businesses in Tyler, who carry it, so I ordered what I needed online. Unfortunately, I did this before, only to find the oil change business I was referred to did NOT use the oil I provided them. Looking for another oil change biz I was told by one he charged $75 to use my oil! Anyway, I stopped by Brown's Automotive, and Aaron said using my oil/filter wasn't a problem....and did NOT overcharge me to do so. He even did a safety check on my tires and fluids. As a woman, one who is 68, it isn't easy walking into a repair station wondering if they will take advantage of you. This was NOT the case with Aaron. He couldn't have been more polite, honest, and efficient. He has a beautiful waiting room, as he took care of my CRV. Upon chatting with him, he sincerely wants to help those in the community by charging competitive pricing, as well as being honest about what really needs to be done to your vehicle. AND, he even has a "mobile repair" too. Ladies, if you are looking for someone to take care of your vehicle, look no further. THIS is the place you can trust.
