I needed some work done on my truck that I couldn't do myself and after shopping around prices I came across these guys. Not only did I get the best price quote but they were able to get my vehicle in faster than others said they could. The work was done quickly and correctly, and the people there were very friendly and professional the whole time. So glad I found out about this place, I'll definitely come back to them in the future and recommend them to everybody.

The Anderson automotive in Tyler Texas on Broadway Is terrible they took my car in told my son it was diagnosed and need a coil pack spark plugs and something about ignition and they had fixed it 300.50 is what we paid picked it up drove it home about 3 blocks from the shop . 45 minutes later I drove it about 4 miles from home it fell dead in the middle of the road in the turning lane . He came out offered no help said he had no idea what was wrong. By the grace of god it crunk up again enough for me to get it out of the street. He didn t offer to to it nothing I had a friend who had triple A so I was able to call me a ride cause he definitely didn t offer to take me home I told him I was on oxygen my tank was running out cause I had been sitting there so long . He left me before my auntie and tow truck got there they towed it back to his shop only for him to tell us the next day that the engine was gone. Now I m not a mechanic but I got sense enough to know that all of that should ve been checked before he put 300. Dollars worth of work into my car only to tell me the next day it s the engine. They are worthless . I would give no stars if I could they are total crooks

Take your auto literally anywhere else. The will charge you an arm and a leg and another leg just to "diagnose" your car and tell you they can't do anything about it because they don't have the equipment to do so. Twice that has happened to me, and twice a local mechanic working out of his garage was able to correctly fix my problem and told me they blatantly lied to me about my diagnosis. I would leave 1/10th of a star if I could.

If I could leave zero stars I would.In February I took my car in for the horn to be fixed due to it not honking. The mechanic (who also happens to be the owner) replaced the clock spring, fixing the horn. As I left their parking lot and made it to the 1st light, I had lights pop up on my dash indicating that my VDC and traction control were turned off. Thinking it was a fluke I went ahead and grabbed my kid from school. Leaving the school it still kept acting up. I called Anderson and was told to bring it back in.That started a 2 week fight of the mechanic not listening when I would explain what was going on and loads of daily lies with the issue not being fixed. I even told them they should take it to Nissan and have Nissan tell them what's wrong or to fix it (on their dime). I was finally told that there was a possibility of 2 different parts but the owner refused to change out the parts without knowing which one it was and the car wouldn't act up long enough to throw a code. So I took my broken car to Nissan and come to find out, when putting my steering wheel back on my car they had broken the steering sensor and something else by shoving it together. The Nissan mechanic gave me the part they broke and I had to pay $1700 to Nissan for what Anderson broke.I filed a small claim and the owner denied my claims. Court date was set in late May and the owner didn't even show up to the court. Judge ruled in my favor and he had 21 days to appeal, which he did not. And he still has yet to even attempt to contact me to reimburse me. I know my next legal steps but wanted to make it known how dishonest and shady this company is. I would watch a YouTube video and attempt to repair my car myself before letting them touch my vehicle ever again.

First off, time is money. They did not waste my time or money in a tight situation with my son's truck. Got right on it and repaired it. I expected the worst but got the best. I have no problem paying for a proper diagnostic test. I say proper diagnostic test because they got to the cause of the readings. Something you can't get at the auto part stores. Auto part stores are a guide. I am a firm believer in you pay for what you get. I am grateful to them for great service and for keeping my son out my truck. Explained everything to me and even told me what to expect.

Come out of my hotel to find a screw stuck in my tire but it wasn't flat. Took my truck to this place on the recommendation of someone at the office. They told me it would be 30 to 45 min before they could look at it. Less than 10 minutes they had me fixed up. Turns out the screw was just in the tread and tire didn't need to be plugged or patched. No charge either. That's the kind of service that will have me returning if I'm back in that area and need help.Thank you.

When I was quoted the price I almost fell over thought it was kinda high but they stuck to the quote and now my Ford ranger runs like a new one. Have driven far enough to use a tank of gas and just the fuel savings in the next year will more than cover the cost of the repair thank you guys.Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

While vacationing near Tyler, Texas our air conditioner in our truck quit cooling. It was a hot and humid 95 degrees. I was not looking forward to the ride home. Stopped at Anderson's and they took care of the problem right away. Very reasonable cost. As we were out of towner's he could have stuck it to us. But he didn't. It was a pleasure doing business at Anderson's Automotive.

I'm 60 years old, and very ignorant on any car related issues. (other than air in the tires and mirror adjustments) Ken and his staff, are the 1st automotive/repair company, I've ever encountered, that didn't take advantage of my auto knowledge deficiencies. Great work, fair price... Thanks Ken!

I was in town for a funeral in Melrose. They got me in quickly, repaired what was needed without trying to push extra repairs, at a close price my mechanic back home said he would charge. I have a very old car, so getting parts to fix it quickly usually is off the table. I had numerous things that were crushed after a bad wreck. This place had it fixed very fast. They are friendly, time efficient, and I was in and out quickly. Will be handling all of my car business with them from now on.

Arrived at 7 am , the business was open for business . Spoke to the employee ,explained what was my concern about truck. He told me it could be looked at to see where the problem is. Very friendly.

Left my chevy with them for a diagnostic, they said they couldn't find anything wrong with it then charged me $90 and the thing they said they couldn't diagnose was a loud valve leak. Will not ever go back, and will recommend everyone stay far away.

At the time of this post, Anderson Automotive has saved me $5,500 in unnecessary repairs that other shops said I absolutely needed. I m not in the business of judging others but I can say without a doubt that the other shops operate under a different set of rules than those at Anderson Automotive. If you re looking for fast, reliable, dependable and most importantly, honest automotive repair service, you ve found it. The guys at Anderson Automotive like to sleep at night.

Have had my car in 2X with Air Conditioner with a $209.00 bill and $336.05. Was told after it failed the second time, 48 hours after I left the shop it "could be any number of things wrong"....I pay to fix my car not next best guess type of work. I am very disappointed as they fell far short of their reputation. Be Advised...

Great place. Low prices took my car to Tuckers 3 different times for the same thing in a span of one week. Problem still not fixed Anderson fixed it quickly and efficiently.Ask for Kenneth.

I dropped my daughter's car off, it was looked at, then he fixed the problem all in the same day. My daughter can now drive home safely for Thanksgiving break. Thank you Ken!!

Owner is rude and unprofessional. Refuses to make appointments even though we only have one car. Made us wait, only to send us away because he didn't like working on our model of car, even though he had previously agreed to it.

Charged for repairs not authorized, just asked for a diagnostic. Would not recommend. They will try to rip you off.

my mother went there for a minor repair and they told her other things needed to be repaired which I know didn't. They take advantage of people who do not know any better

If you feel like spending $75 on a diagnostic test that AutoZone will do for free be sure to go here! Awful experience.
