So glad my boss recommended Big 3 cause I needed my transmission replaced and I couldn't find one I trust. But Big 3 came through and with my car being a BMW I know it's not the easiest or cheapest job. However Big 3 sure made it that way for me. I'm really pleased with the job. They didn't add on other repairs like some shops do. They did what I asked and made me feel really comfortable.

Big 3 Engine and Transmission Company is a great place if you need your car repaired! I was having transmission issues with my Toyota Corolla a couple month back. My issue was fixed within a few days. The mechanics were extremely helpful and answered any questions I had. My new go to for car repairs!

I love Big 3 Engine and Transmission. One of the best companies out there. They're very reliable and hardworking, the never miss a beat. Pricing is great. Atmosphere is great, service is tremendous & they never fails. They very detailed and mindful that you know and understand what's going on and how they a make you happy at the end of the day. I would highly recommend 10/10

I thought I was out of luck when my transmission gave out over the holiday weekend. I would be stuck with no way to go visit family. Then a friend told me about this company. And I must say they are a god send. They had me up and running in hours instead of days and all for a reasonable price.

Built my short block5.9l magnum.Really impressed with the quality of the rebuild.Would definitely recommend.(Been about 8ish months still running good.Would 100% recommend

Update : I just spoke with Joe and he is stating he will refund the money. So I will give him the benefit of the of the doubt. I will update my rating once the refund is complete.I hate to be sharing this post because I literally tried to give Big 3 every opportunity to make this right and it didn't happen. The first engine started knocking and we took it back, under warranty so he said he would fix it. Claimed it was our fault that it had issues, but he would fix it. So he installed a new one and the mechanic just told us this one has metal shavings in the oil and is ready to blow at any moment. It has less than 500 miles on it. I have no words except stay away from Big 3.

I've never had a mechanics shop with such wonderful people work on my vehicle. They went above and beyond my expectations. All of the staff made sure I understood what was needing to be done and did so in a timely matter. I don't vehicle could run any better. I will continue to do business with Big 3 Engine and Transmission. Thanks you guys!!!

Not sure what to say. Had mine and my husband's esclade for a engine rebuild for almost 11 months. Still no direct answer on when to pick it up. I'd be happy to give them a 5 star if it's all good when we get it. This suv missing has caused us to miss vacation n holidays with family. My company wants me to start coming in the office but I have no way to do it but with my husband's dually. My daughter being special needs it's a pain to put all her stuff in n out of the bed of the dually. What we thought was gonna be a 2 or 3 month process has been almost yr. I can say Joe is a really friendly guy my husband says just no delivery on getting suv back. At this point I just wish I could dump it off some how n get my money back or something. Been almost 17-18k $ we have spent n no results unfortunately. Wish it would of turned out better but you live and you learn I guess. Just want my suv back so we can be a family n do family trips while my daughter is still young . We was literally in the process of trading it in when my husband decided to keep it since it's pd off. I don't fault my husband since he heard about big 3 from the cam company or whatever they said they had no issues with. But just hope something gets resolved quickly. Wish I would of traded it in and took the 1k payment instead of it being pd off, least we could of made memories with family instead of sitting at home and only having our Rv Tow truck to run around. Please Joe light a fire under whatever is working on it Posted this a few was ago. To resolve still waiting on big 3 so I filed with the BBB and see what's next. Has now been over a YR he has had our suv for a engine swap and still not finished

Now I ve had my share of car problems which comes with assortment of different mechanics some overpriced some who charge for doing nothing and then the rare gems of true mechanical magic and this here falls in the category just a hair away from the magic. I d recommend them in heartbeat.

Love the customer service..much more friendly then the one back home in Atlanta..everyone is patient and the items are reasonably priced..Visiting family in the area and I'll make sure I send some referrals their way..

Update: Talked with Steve the owner of SpeedNeeds. He wants Joe to takedown the post for slander or legal action will occur. Caddy completed by GPI. 10 stars. What a real shop does to satisfy customers.This shop is a joke. They had my 2007 Cadillac cts-v for 17 months. My engine was blown, so I sent it to them to get a new engine built and installed. I was instructed to send it to Grimlock Garage for the removal and install of the engine once completed. Big3eng had a falling out with grimlock garage after the old engine was removed and sent to big3engine. Months went by while I waited for the new engine to be built. Once it was built or bought it was installed and sent to SpeedNeeds to be tuned as suggested by big3engine. Joe @ big3engine told me the car was running and was being tuned. I arrived to pick the car up from SpeedNeeds who informed me the car did not even start let alone run as joe @ big3engine stated. SpeedNeeds replaced the starter, battery, Relays that were missing, coil packs that were unplugged, etc etc etc. Caddy was sent back to big3engine for several months to find out it was the throwout bearing. Several more months of taking engine in and out and changing throwout bearing, was told it was fixed and ready to be tuned. SpeedNeeds got the caddy back to tune. The crank balancer was improperly installed and almost fell off. Damaged the balancer, bolt, and belt. Once this was fixed by SpeedNeeds, they attempted to tune - low oil pressure noted. Back to big3engine, several months go by, joe checks pick up tube in oil pan, puts in a new oil pump - does not improve oil pressure. Got fed up with all the time and money spent - drove to texas and trailered the non running caddy to GPI in Little Rock Arkansas. They found out that the pilot bearing was installed incorrectly which resulted in the thrust bearing being destroyed and metal in the oil pan and filter. GPI is currently rebuilding the engine.Please do not use this shop.Zero Stars

I see that since I posted my review months back, it has somehow been removed so I will post a stripped down version. I asked for a quote for a mild performance built small block Chevy and emailed a list of parts that I wanted used. He provided a total quote which seemed reasonable but I requested a break-down of the build. At that point he said I was too difficult to work with and told me to "go take a hike". At that point I became very suspicious as any reputable business would have no problem doing this for a customer. He blamed it on the computer system they use. He said I felt "entitled" to ask him to do such busy work and he would contact other engine builders in the area to tell them not to do business with me. Glad to say I didn't spend a penny with him. I see under the Better Business Bureau he claims he has sued me. There is no lawsuit, he's lying. Also the 'quote' he's claiming he gave me is nothing more than a copy and paste of my list of parts I originally sent to him. He simply put a total on it.

I bought an engine for my BMW X3 and I am very satisfied. It came with a 6 month warranty and it looks and runs good as new and it came with low mileage on it! They kept me updated on the motor til it came in which didn t take long at all. The men at Big 3 are very professional. They even helped me find a mechanic to install it! I definitely know where to go from here on out if I ever need any other car parts!! They are very good and made me feel well appreciated as a customer!! I highly recommend them!

Leaking freeze plugs, intake manifold leaks anti freeze out the front. I would give them a lower rating if I could. I forgot to mention that Joe put valve covers on and stacked 2 gaskets to make them fit and they leaked as well
