I spoke to a gentleman this morning, April 3rd, about the care of my lawn mower. I was advised by someone I thought I could trust, to put the 2-cycle mix into my Husqvarna mower before using it this season. WRONG! The man I spoke to at D-S Lawn and Automotive gave me better advice. Thank you for your help and honesty. I'll be turning to these guys for advice from now on.

This is a sthil distributor and repair place. It says sthil outside on the building as well, so we took our stihl chainsaw in for someone to give it a basic service and the man said that they don't service our model. This same chainsaw has been brought here several times before. Sad to see the quality of this once small town go down hill.

I needed a mower tire bad. And I found them. They only had one tire in my size. But they doubled the price of the tire. At any other shop the price was $70/$90. But not here. I paid $215 for a 26 x 12.00 - 12nhs. You can see for yourself what it'll cost. Owell it wasn't my money. I'll be letting the rich people shop here.

Small town local "parts" business. I use D-S Lawn & Automotive any time I need to get a filter, fuel line, bar oil, ect.. They do not always have the part I need (honestly no one could carry every fuel filter on the market.) These guys can order anything you need and are always helpful to make sure you get the parts you need.They also sell Chainsaws, Mowers, BBQ pits, etc.. The one stop outdoor shop.Plus they are a locally owned small business.

Been out of work for almost 3 months. Came in to get a primer bulb for a chainsaw so I can make some extra money. I didn't have enough and they still helped me out. Very kind hearted people. 100% would recommend

Took a chainsaw and weed eater in. Two weeks later. Wanted sell us a new chainsaw same with weed eater. Did not tuneup at all. Very bad and expensive trip to them. Good luck.

I brought my riding mower in for repair since it wouldn t start. The D&S technician noticed the blade clutch switch was on, which prevents the starter from working. They politely explained the issue and would not charge me anything. Honesty and integrity like this is all too rare deserves to be noted. They ve earned my respect and future business for sure !!!

I want to say thank you to David Mcclinton and Stephen Smith the owners of D-S lawn and automotive. They are truly Pro police and military supporters. As a military veteran myself I always appreciate when honored with a discount. I have used other services that do not even compare to the professionalism and expedited Professional Services that I recently received on two of my Honda generators. I certainly appreciate the hometown feeling and friendly service that I received from these two fine gentlemen and their staff. It was nice sharing Family photos with Mr Smith, Gig Em, lol. I will now be loyal to them for future services as well as highly recommend them to Family and Friends. Their prices are unbeatable you certainly get more for your buck with them than anywhere else. they are truly vested in what they do for their customers. I cannot say thank you enough for the speedy service and total professionalism. I am so glad I found this diamond in the rough here in Tomball. They have a great selection on BBQ pits, grill replacements spices and more. They also have all kinds of lawn equipment and parts and if they don't have it in stocks they are happy to order it for you. They have lots of flashlights and Nebo products which are great to have. This is a most stop location . Again thanks for making me feel at home

I brought in a riding mower wheel that had a bad bearing so I could have them give me the correct size replacement. Dude just took it in the back and beat the old ones out and the new ones in without even asking. It took a few minutes but I'm glad I didn't have to do it.

I have gone to this store for a number of years. I thought it was the only local place with the needed expertise. So I dealt with their slow service and high prices. I'm now done with them and I suggest you find somewhere else. I have always found the staff somewhat lacking in customer service, but today they were downright rude.

David and Steve are awesome, family owned company. Hence the name D&S, get it? They do auto repairs to fix chain saws. They're extremely honest as well. Even carry a yeti cooler line. I always buy mine from them because I support small local communities. Think Academy cares about you? Nope

I have bought many things from here. I you need to fix something with the small engine or by parts. They have the fix, and the best customer service and knowledgeable people. Eugene went above and beyond, you look at my mower and help me fix it. I own a pest control company and we will be buying all of our equipment from here on out. Love this place.

These people absolutely suck. I brought in my echo gas trimmer to be serviced. It ran when I picked it up. When I took it home and tried to use it the following weekend I couldn't get it to crank. I took it back the guy couldn't get it to crank pulled the plug put it back in then it cranked. Got home wouldn't crank. Took it back the next day they couldn't get it to crank and were about to service it again and the manager tried and after 14 pulls it finally cranked. It worked last night for me and guess what happened today.... it cranks but wont stay running. Screw you guys, you lost my business.

Instead of trying to help me find the tire I needed, the extremely RUDE gentleman didn't take the time to listen and help instead was a complete A$$ treating me like an idiot an insisting that I go to a John Deere Store. Even though I know that they have the same tire that would go on their Toro Mowers he insisted that he couldn't help me. Believe it or not, I am an intelligent man with several college degrees that owns several businesses in town. Although I'm not the person that usually goes into this store (as it is usually one of my employees) I have spent a lot of money with them. Rest assured, this will be the LAST time me or any of my employees go into this store. Unfortunate that a local small business feels the need to treat customers so poorly. I suggest taking a good look at whom you hire to be the face of your company.

Needed a new chainsaw chain and it was a few minutes after closing. They waited for us and got us in and out within a few minutes. Great customer service.

I called and ordered carburetor part for mower and tomy surprise the part arrived next day. I was pleased with speedy customer service upon pick up! Great bunch a guys and extremely knowledgeable!

I needed a hard to find gasket and some special screws and they had it and was comfortable with the staff who all knew what they were doing. Good place for small engine parts.

My favorite place to go for lawn equipment, parts and supplies. The staff here is very helpful and friendly. I do recommend you give them a visit if you are in the market for lawn equipment, parts or service, or just stop by and take a look at the equipment they have on their floor.
