Dan is the best mechanic I have ever dealt with. Took my truck to the Ford dealership, they could not fix it. Ford service manager told me about Dan. Dan fixed my truck with his superior knowledge. Within hours my truck was running perfectly.Dan has a great personality and is very understanding. Very reasonable prices too.I don't take my truck anywhere but Smitty's !I recommend him to everyone.Thanks Dan for everything.

Dan is awesome. He is one of the few honest mechanics I ve ever met with excellent customer service. Took my car in the same day I called him and he had it ready the next day! The check engine light was flashing and my car was running terrible before I took it to Dan. He diagnosed the problem within a few hours of having the car and he even called me to come into the shop in person to see the problem for myself. Once I gave him the approval to fix the problem he had my car back to me the next day! If you live around The Colony, Frisco, Lewisville or Carrollton I definitely recommend taking your car/truck into Dan! Very great experience and I would certainly return to do business with him in the future.Service: Auto engine tuning

I searched for a couple months to get my car into some custom shops with no luck and less than exceptional service. I found Smitty's through Google and spoke with Dan the owner. Dan was able to get my 70 Chevelle into his shop the following day for brake repairs (new master cylinder, booster, etc.). I asked him to do a check on the rest of the car as it had not been to a mechanic for thorough review in some time. Dan spent a week carefully adjusting the carburetor, timing, electrical, etc. I can tell you the car has never run better!!! Dan is a master mechanic and has a true love for and knowledge of classic cars. I will not bring my car anywhere other then Dan as long as I am in Texas after the experience I had.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair, Brakes

Every single time I ve gone for either an oil change or to have a new tire put I have gotten extremely great service. I think the service is exceptional and priced fair.

Went in because my air conditioning wasn t working a previous shop told me it was electrical and that they could fix it so I went to Smitty once I arrived he told me his price to diagnose my car which was 90 buck and I also paid him to install freon which was 100 he told me that for the electrical problem he would charge me 500 so my family thought that was pricey for an ac plug which he couldn t get the part for so I paid 200.00 for the services that was done I found another shop that fixed the electrical problem for 200.00 which was 300,00 cheaper they laughed that he was even trying to play me so the guys wanted to put Freon I say since I paid the other guy I ll go back to him for the Freon he treated me so unprofessional over the phone I m a woman than I come in with me husband this morning who was just there because ok a woman Smitty brought his gun to work lol we had our kids in the car he s the worst unprofessional me mechanic I ve ever seen in my life you mad because you couldn t make that extra 300.00 dollars I don t mind paying for any service I just hate when people try to overprice people like we was born yesterday then gonna tell me he talk to other shops so they don t fix my truck lol this is America my money spends anywhere count your days Mr Smitty people like you won t be in business long your a crook
