I arrived at a different tire shop 15 minutes prior to them closing and was turned around. Went to this location and not only was offered a water bottle (free of charge) but also received exceptional service. I truly appreciate the people that assisted in a quick, timely manner without me having to step out of my vehicle.

Exceptional Service from Richard!I recently visited Take 5 Shop for a state inspection, and I must say that Richard provided HONEST and AMAZING service! From start to finish, he went above and beyond to ensure my experience was top-notch! Richard took the time to explain the areas that I needed to address without trying to upsell me or push unnecessary services a refreshing change from some other places. He took care of me right away, with no unnecessary delays. Richard's friendly demeanor and professionalism made this entire process very pleasant. He answered my questions patiently and made sure I understood everything needed for a successful state inspection passing.Overall, Richard's exceptional service has earned my trust. I'll definitely be returning to Take 5 Shop for future maintenance needs. Hands down the best place to get your oil change! Not only do you not even have to get out of your vehicle (which is SO helpful when you have toddlers & young kids) but they're super fast and most importantly, the most knowledgeable "repair shop"/oil change specialist that I've ever been to.ALL the guys there were extremely helpful & professional but Richard was kind enough to take the time to answer my questions & give reasonable recommendations to insure the life of my truck.Thank you again guys at Take 5 in Texas City! You just gained a loyal customer

Always super friendly and patient answering any questions. Even though the oil change should take 10 minutes I never feel rushed. Richard at the Texas City location was super nice and went above and beyond. Will definitely be back for my next oil change.

Outstanding service from the minute I got there until we left. Very professional and they explained everything. Very organized and clean. To top it off they offered a veteran discount and were not pushy on the up sell items. We really appreciated the great service. Thank you!!

We went for an oil change and car inspection. Initially we were thrilled with the excellent customer service and pleasant attitudes of the staff.But then 24 hours later the low tire pressure went off. It turned out the tires on the right side were 30 lbs. And the left was 36lbs and 38 lbs. They should have been 35 lbs each.We also found 2 broken screws when they checked on the air filter , and they forgot to reset the oil change light. Hopefully nothing else so far.Very disappointing.

Thank you for getting me in right away being honest about what I needed and not trying to upsell me. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and informative! I came in for an oil change a during the process the drip stick tube broke. Felt with Sam who is insulting, combative, kept interrupting and wasn t going to have a conversion.It is a frustrating situation for all, but his lack of professionalism and care as a customer forced the 2 star. The situation is understandable but his belittling tone was unacceptable. The rest of the team is great, especially Richard!

Texas city take 5 locations is amazing. They greet you with a friendly attitude and give you a bottle of water while you wait. They check your car of anything it may need and do it fast.Fantastic experience ever time!!

Went back to the Texas City location allow them to fix my VW and they continued to lie to me and my wife. They denied the plug was stripped and called out the other workers from their Dickinson 517 shop for not knowing what they were talking about. They then tried to say that the oil pan was leaking. It was me pouring oil in without a funnel. Have had a third party verify that they stripped the oil plug and that was the fact of truth. He is going to power wash the engine to see if the oil pan gasket is leaking, but he highly doubts it. Sam and Jeff wanted to uphold their lie and are now getting caught. I refused to let them touch my car because of the constant rude and piss poor customer service. If you screw it up, fix it. Do not continue to lie to make it worse. Sam have more respect to yourself, instead of looking like an idiot. You stated "I have been a professional mechanic for years." Take a look around you and you can see you reflection of who you are. You are giving the true professional mechanics a bad name. This is a follow up to my wife's post on 1-17-24. Do not take your care there!!!

While driving through Texas my car alerted me it was time for an oil change, after a little research of the area I decided on Take 5 in Texas City, and I am so glad I did. They were friendly, fast and the work area was very very clean and tidy. Jeff was very courteous knowledgeable, he answered every question I had. I worked with Richard and he was fantastic! All I needed was a switch out of wiper blades. They were under warranty so I wasn t charged a dime. They were fast, friendly, and absolutely professional. They offered all three of us waters and were so kind! Go here for fast and friendly service!! The line was moving so fast!!

very friendly service! the complimentary water bottle at the beginning was a great touch and made me feel welcomed.my one and only complaint is that i felt a bit pressured to get a new air filter. i explained to the employee that i really can t afford to do anything more than an oil change but he didn t seem too receptive of that and continued to push a bit longer. i had to decline 3 times.i know that s likely how employees are trained, to upsell and to get more money for the company, but some of us are poor! lol!

First time and life time customer , Santiago , Sam and every other employee that was there on Dec. 28 2023 were aces when it comes to their job . I honestly was kinda on the fence about coming in to the shop . From the time I pulled up to the time I pulled out these dudes showed nothing but professionalism and knowledge of how to take care of a vehicle. I have a car that like most dudes I take care of . They told me what condition of old oil was and added a premium oil to my car and had the filter for my foreign car in stock . Checked all my fluids and air . Plus inspected everything. They could have easily sent me packing in less than 5 min but these dudes took the time to make a car guy that would normally do himself feel 1000 pct great about them working on my baby . Had my oil changed there wensday night and drove it to Dallas , Ft.Worth where it began to overheat. My husband than proceeded to look under the hood where we noticed our radiator cap was not screwed on which blew radiator fluid all over engine , when I called to inform them of the situation they denied they had any fault , and that it was possible there was not enough radiator fluid which caused top to blow off even though on the service check list they marked radiator fluid at safe levels, apparently they were not and they refuse to accept responsibility or even offer an apology will never use them again and suggest that if you do check beneath your hood to make sure all tops are secured
