I d verge on trusting Mr. Frances with not only my truck, but my bike, & life too. Yes I know tge last thing might sound like exaggeration .however he is simply just that good. I ve taken my truck to other places in town (ie Auto Tech but now, on my budget, and yes, even prior to Covid & ensuing pandemic AutoTech is courteous et all but really too pricey -and- impervious for my budget and patience. My mom & I initially preferred A.T. But it s as if they ve gotten to big for their britches Atticus wise. I don t need their fancy foreign car abilities & .catchy bright billboards, & don t wish to be helping finance their ad campaigns (to lure even more customers) and billboard installations I just simply want and expect good service and non-insane book pricing and sincerety. There s by the book, yes, I understand that any auto repair ship has its overhead re utilities employees, security et all. A.T. Has always been politely professional basically the scope of their horizon escaped my and my budget s reach sort of a shame since they re physically located fairly near.).Getting back to MSN Off-road, of whom Matthew Francis is owner/proprietor of I feel fortunate to have heard of him via relatives of a close friend. He is courteous, professional, has knowledge beyond just off-road vehicles and their repair/upkeep. He and his stellar team work on more than simply off-road vehicles. He installed a new wiper mechanism for my front windshield wipers, he installed my new premium brand double din stereo, amplifier, dash & door premium stereo speakers, and when he replaced my entire front plastic dash(I searched the entire u.s. for a beige one in good shape despite 20yrs having passed) and he installed it with care & caution he proceeded to tweak/repair my glitchy electrics too! Yay for that since his doing so meant I once again had a functioning dependable over-head dome light in my truck s 3 door cab.Not realizing he existed initially I did go to an equally talented auto repair business but that business was short staffed(mind you PRE pandemic) and verging on backlogged. That doesn t work when a person (me) is single, middle aged, and stubbornly/fiercely independent because wait time entails either bumming rides from close friends, or Uber/Lyft(?), or egads, resorting to taking the city bus(I ve done so prior in a much larger cities. ). Mr.Frances (ne Matthew) has a crack team of hard working employees and they will def get your vehicle tended to/squared away. Had I known of MSN Off-road & Matthew, I d most definitely chosen to take my beloved truck to MSN for my previous work (brakes -and- air conditioning/heating). He s too busy with being concerned running his business snd foing the job right, to be facebooking:espousing viewpoints political in nature. Sure there s always free speech but re business and your opinions public .I believe in a separation and distancing. Business people don t go talking views/political choices. To me that s respectful.I m on the verge of needing to have my left side driver s window motor replaced, and someday eventually a tune up et al.Guess who I ll be taking my 2001 85k miles truck to? Yep! MSN Off-road.Oh and the reason I knew nothing of his businesses existence? His shop was over quite a distance(think Genoa , and i wouldn t have ever just happened up his business. Now though??Great news .his shop is definitely in town and very accessible since it s located at the corner of Texas Boulevard & MLK.
