I was moving my sister to Houston, TX from NE Indiana when my transmission (Allison 1000, diesel truck) went out on me in Texarkana. After calling around multiple places, only one person not only really cared about my situation, but actually called me back with a plan - Kirt. He worked with me to get the best deal and quickest service he could, secure my trailer during repairs (8'x24' car hauler), and was even kind enough to help me to & from a car rental in town! If your torque converter clutch disintegrates while towing a #9,000 load, and you need transmission repairs in a very timely manner, call Kirt!

We had just moved to the area from Illinois and wasn t there a month when the transfer case on our truck broke. It happened at the most inconvenient time, of course, because we had made a commitment to go back to Illinois the following weekend and needed the truck. We called Kirt s Transmission and explained our dilemma - he wasted no time in arranging a solution to our situation! He ordered our replacement part and assured us that he would install it as soon as it arrived, and that is EXACTLY what he did. He installed a top quality part and did a top quality job. It s rather difficult to find someone you can trust to work on your vehicle when you are not from the area. Kirt is the guy you can trust, will do a good job for you, and will go above and beyond to help you. It is refreshing to know that there are people who will do what they say, are honest, and will back it up with quality work. Kirt knows his stuff. He was very understanding about our vehicle needing a new transmission. Very honest. Trustworthy. He was great to work with regarding our car repair. Highly recommend his shop!

Kirt Transmission is a very professional, honest and friendly business. I was referred to him because of him being known to go a good and honest work. So I Took my truck in to be serviced for what I thought was my transmission. It turned out to be my front end of my truck. Kirt fixed it to where I can get it to the tire place and he also refunded $1100. of the $1300. I gave him for the deposit to get started. He was very nice through the whole process. I will definitely use him and tell everyone I know to go to him.

I was stranded on the side of the road at 12:30 at night left a message on his website and he got back to me right away asking if I was okay, that's something I'm just not used to. I ended up getting my entire transmission replaced which I had ran low on fluid and not only did he rebuild it in a timely manner but he upgraded the internals giving me a more trustworthy transmission on my F250. All for a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend Kirt's Transmission.

I was so thankful for the work that Kirt did on my transmission. My 2013 Nissan Sentra had a bad CVT transmission, and I was so worried it would cost me an arm and a leg to replace. Kirt got me a brand new transmission for an incredible price! He also got my vehicle back to me on the 3rd day he had it. I would recommend him to anyone who needs to get transmission work done on their vehicle!

We had a great experience with Kirt s transmission! We live in Missouri and my husband s truck decided on his way home that the transmission needed changed. Kirt was very helpful and kind. He even picked us up from the Amtrak station when we came down to get the truck! The truck is running great and we couldn t happier! Thanks Kirt!

Kirt was so kind. He replaced our transmission and kept the car without charging storage fees until we could pay off the repair balance. The car runs better after he repaired it then when we bought it new in 2015. Thank you Kirt!

I had a leak underneath my truck, I found this business on the internet, did a little research and went to talk to the owner Kirt. Kirt was very friendly and told me what the problem might be, quoted me a reasonable price, did the work the next morning and even gave me a ride home, a few hours later my truck was fixed and so far no more leaks! Good job Kirt!

While several hundred miles away from home and with even further left to go my transmission decided to give out on me right outside of Texarkana. Well a great state trooper that checked on me stranded and referred me to Kirt. I can say with absolute certainty I have NEVER dealt with a kinder, more compassionate mechanic in my life. Not only was he able to get me back on the road way quicker than I could imagine for replacing the transmission for a fair price, while updating me with progress every step of the way, he also got me to a hotel since I was in an unfamiliar area with no transportation. I truly can't convey how great it was to deal with him within the limits of these reviews.

I had a wonderful experience, Kirt fixed our family SUV. He was very professional, worked in a timely manner and did a post check up to make sure our vehicle was still doing well, we couldn't be any happier. I highly recommend him.

We just had out transmission rebuilt by Kirts transmission. He is a very nice and honest person. He did a great job, by replacing all of the parts with brand new parts. I saw some of our old parts, they looked good to me. He could have put those old parts back in there, but Kirt didn't. Kirt takes pride in his work and if shows. We will definitely use him again in the future. Thanks Kirt.

Kirt you went above and beyond for me. I was traveling through and my transfer case broke. Not only did you let me stay at your house while my wife drove 6 hrs to come me. You saved me tons of money . Just wanted to let everyone know how honest and trustworthy this man is. He talked to me every step of the way on my truck. And after it was fixed came and pick me and my family up from Amtrak stataion. Because we are from Missouri thank you so much

This man is awesome in the way he treated me and listened to me when I was pissed off and cussin the dealerships down one side and up the other. Not only did he listen to me rant and unload but he paid attintion gave his honest opinion and let me follow him around under my car and let me ask my questions and never got irritated at me which I'm very irritating sometimes and if I wasent under warranty still I would make the 5 hr drive back to his shop so he could do the work and listen to me talk some more lol!!!! Thank you so much man when the warranty runs out I'll be back if I got an issue good man good man

I would give these guys SIX STARS if I could!! My Ram 3500 was DEAD, 800 miles from home (Cincinnati, OH), and these guys fixed it in LESS THAN A DAY for HALF the price it would have cost me to get it fixed here (48RE shift detent ball sticking it in Park, requiring valve body removal)! Wish he was here in Cincinnati, he would have more work than he would ever want!

After all shops were closed Kurt brought us in and diagnosed our vehicle for us. We were on our way from NY to Houston. He had us in and out within a short time n sent us back on our way. Thank you :)

Can't refer this place enough! Very friendly and straight forward owner and awesome quality work! Not to mention I ended up saving money because he didn't try to over charge me like other places were trying to do. If you go here you won't be disappointed I assure you. Highly recommend!
