Make sure you know what you're getting into when buying a used vehicle from this place.I docked a star because they were unwilling to work with me on the price for this vehicle. They couldn't even shave 100 off the price. Resistance to price negotiation is a red flag for me from now on.Make sure you know the vehicle you are buying because they sold me a car without the master key. Bad tires. Bad headlights. The fuel pump is going out. Some of these are minor issues.But here is A MAJOR ISSUE:Their in house mechanic.I've found multiple issues with my car so far in the form of missing screws, jammed panels and broken brackets. I'd chalk this up as previous owners but I found the oil pan drain plug lodged in place with multiple washers and thread tape. WHAT?! You don't put thread tape on this, it can get into the engine, clog a channel and cause major issues. What kind of mechanic doesn't know how to do basic things like tap or sleeve?? Or just get a bigger bolt???Mine was actually fine!!I just removed the tape and tightened it according to spec.Be careful. Make sure you are a mechanic or take a mechanic with you.They are good salesmen at this place but that's about it. They can get you to sign an agreement and calm your nerves but they do everything to make sure their ends are covered without doing much to meet you in the middle. They couldn't even shave a hundred off the price for a reasonable customer.I get they have to run a business and they manage bad clients but they need to treat the good ones like royalty because we are few and far inbetween. I make my payments, repair and manage my vehicles.

Predators preying on innocent people. Don't be their next victim. Almost killed my family! I bought a 2007 Jeep Compass from them, it's still on the lot. Javier told me it had a little rust under the hood it was because it came from up east. I used to live up east so I understood that. Well 9 months into the loan there was some issues that came about. So, I took it to a well known mechanic shop. They showed me that the whole sub frame (bottom of the car) was rusted out. That at any point in time the jeep could have separated and we could've died. Mind you I have two kids. This was my only vehicle. So, to hear that and never was informed about it. I was distraught, I had my 4 year old and 7 year old in that car. Then when I didn't make the payment Maria got an attitude with me. Then the owner called and I told him what happened. Then they said that they would put me in another car. I was ok with that until Clay did a 30% mark up and wanted me to drop more on the down payment. So, now I have this car hitting my credit because they sold me a piece of junk and put my life and my children's life in jeopardy. Don't buy from them, they are crooks. It's sad that they would do this to someone and they remain open.

Horrible shady people. Liars, cheat, con artist, crook, swindler, trickster, deceiver,defrauded,scammer, shyster, conniver, cozener, phony are just some words I could describe this business. Out of so much money because of them, I ve really gone into debt because of them scamming me. I HATE THIS PLACE!!!

If giving 0 stars was possible, I would. Bought a truck in May 2021, never missed a payment for over a year, had mechanical issues arise. They talked me into using their mechanics. Required almost 2k up front. Gave me the truck back running worse than when it went into the shop, ignored my complaints for 3 months. Kept asking me to make $890 payments on a vehicle that wasn't running, after their mechanics had supposedly fixed it. I eventually surrendered the Ram and cut my losses.If you do buy a vehicle from here, DO NOT TRUST THEM TO FIX ANYTHING ON YOUR CAR. DO NOT speak to Javier about issues with your vehicle, as he does not understand how mechanics work. The only pleasure with doing business with them is the receptionist, Diane. Personally spoke with the owner and he said I was a good customer and he doesn't want to lose me as a customer. Told me he would swap me to a other vehicle, but his employees didn't want to swap me, just kept making demands on paying $890 a month on a vehicle that their mechanics broke.

My husband and I just purchased a vehicle from here and We couldn t be more happier with our decision. Mike handled all of our paperwork and got us taken care of with the up most professionalism and kindness. We are very pleased! 5 stars hands down!

I would just like to say Mike was an excellent sales person he helped me find the car that I need it for my family they need more salesman s like him. He did a great job and made sure everything was taken care of with no issues overall I would write him a 10 stars. most of all he was friendly and help me find the right vehicle you guys should go there and asked to speak to Mike White he will get you right.

Bought a car not even a month ago and it s already breaking down. I hate I wasted my money here. Had to get 2 oil changes already because it s leaking. Really took advantage of a 1st car buyer with no knowledge

I recently bought a truck from Javier at texas best preowned and my first time buying a vehicle was very easy, great customer service, bilingual, ans great deals! I love my 2012 ford f150 platinum. Definitely recommend!

DO NOT buy RED camaro vin ending in 100877 That car is NOT fresh trade , that was MY car they stole from me after I WRECKED it. Car was totaled but never labeled that thanks to their in house insurance Hard impact damage to front passenger side wheel and fender . Texas Best screwed me out of $8000 I had paid in that car, never late and never missed a payment . They refuse to talk to me

I had a great experience with Zach at Texas Best Pre-Owned! I read all of the other reviews which most were not good. So I was a little skeptical. I waited awhile to write this review to give the car a few months with us but still so far so good. I bought the car as a first one for my son so it was for the ultimate precious cargo! In my opinion, Zach is the best thing happening at Texas Best! He was fair, communicated well, and got the deal done fast. He is the only one I would trust to work with there again! Thanks Zach and if you're still there, we will be back to get a car for my other son in a year or so!

I bought a car from them for my daughter, who is a new driver. The car had an alignment issue which I knew at purchase. They also told me there was about 50% tire left and about 75% brake left. They showed me records of about $1500 of work done on the car before they put it up for sale. They said they make doubly sure everything is great, once in an external shop and then in their internal shop. When I took the car for alignment, the guy was shocked to see the insides of the tires were bald and steel threads were showing! The tires could have just blown up! He removed the wheels to check the brakes and guess what . There was no brake pad left! I consider this criminal because they are not messing with just the cosmetics anymore! They are lying about safety and putting the buyer s life at risk! Why not tell me the real condition of the brakes and tires, and still charge me the same for the car? They are out in the country, and country folks are good folks in general. But these people lie.

When I was at your dealership I was looking for a small 4- cylinder pick-up truck. We couldn't find a truck in my price range which is OK as I am not in a hurry to buy. Mike White was so polite that I am certain to come back in a month or so to check out your inventory.

We drove down to look at a 2015 Jeep Renegade. The sales guy made sure I know that it was a manual before we drove down and we all laughed when I told him that's why I was interested!! We got there and got approved quickly. We did have to go down the next day to pick my car up because we were out of state buyers and wanted to make sure everything was done properly. Absolutely love being their customers and we refer everyone to them!!

Well after emailing the owner Jaime, I have a new confidence in this place. He agree to refund our money since they sold us a vehicle with a salvage title without telling us . Hopefully he stands by his word and makes this right. IF he follows through, then he will be a very honorable business owner and I will recommend them to anyone .I will post next week after we return the vehicle and post the outcome.

BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP!!! I looked at an 05 Honda. I loved it and it checked out on a VIN check so I decided to purchase it. I did my financing through a loan company that has done business with them before. I signed the loan and scheduled a time to sign the final papers and pick up the car. When I got there they wanted to run my credit score. When I asked why they informed me that if I didn't have a credit score of at least 700, I would have to wait 7 days to get the car even though they had received the promise to pay from the loan company. Even the loan company could not convince them to release the car. So now I have a car that I have a loan on, insurance on, but is still sitting on their lot WITH the price still on the windshield. They told me they MIGHT release the car to me once they get the check but they made no guarantees. Once again,BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP!!!

I would like everybody if you get a chance to go by Texas best pre owned. In Terrell Texas they do a good job I just got a good deal from. Michael White he was so professional .this really sured me he cares about the customer . Y'all got to go by " Texas Best Pre-owned. Enjoying Mike in the staff

Will never buy another vehicle from them. I purchased a Dodge ram from them. The first time I text drove the truck, the battery was dead. After jump starting it, I drove it for a 15 minute test drive. All seemed fine. I went back the following weekend and it was still there. Again... The battery was dead. They jumped it and I drove it once more. After all was said I done I was on my way home with said truck. Low and behold, half way there the check engine light comes on. I call them and Jamie the owner tells me... That's the risk you take with buying a used vehicle. When I went back up there in person... The sales guy ( keeping his name confidential ) who is a really cool guy informed me that they new something was wrong with it, and it wasn't by accident that the battery was always dead. I ran a test myself by disconnecting the battery and the check engine light comes on after 45 minutes of running EVERY time. I did this 3 times. So after 2600 dollar engine rebuild at my cost.... Buyers beware of this place. They may be all smiles on top... But not very honest business people underneath.PS... I bought it in the summer.... The AC worked great. But the heat didn't because it had a bad heater core. So yup... Guess who had to replace it as well.

This Dealer treated me very shady. I purchased a truck from them in 2015 and gave them a sizable down payment. I live in AZ and was working in TX for a few months. The day after I bought the truck I was informed that I was being relocated to New Mexico for work. I called the dealer and spoke with the salesman to inform them that I was being relocated for work, incase there were financing issues. He stated "ok thats not a problem". 2 months later I get call from the dealer reminding me I was a few days late on my payment. I apologized that it slipped my mind due to moving to New Mexico and back to AZ. She then informed me that I wasn't authorized to take the truck out of state without getting approval. I expressed that I called to notify them and she exclaimed "that sales person and finance mgr. no longer work here due to fraudulent activity, and the truck needs to be returned to the dealer." I responded stating I was AZ, she replied I'll have a tow truck come pick it up and transport back to TX. She stated there would be no negative credit bureau reporting. My downpayment or monthly payment weren't ever returned they still ended up reporting to the credit bureaus of involuntary repossession 2 years later stating I owe over 11k for a truck that I'm sure they resold.At this point they won't return my calls to resolve the issue. They were made whole in this situation, and I'm left out of pocket and invalid credit reporting.

They sold me a Lemmon. Clean from a glance. Motor knocking, fuel issues, bent wheels from a wreck. Lied about the warranty to my face so I'd buy I'm assuming.Tried to over charge the finance charge by almost 2k. When making my down payment.I went back to this place after a few years and several vehicles. Thinking I would be treated as I was before. But this is not the case. I am now in a lease with a vehicle that is gonna need a motor soon. That repair job will cost more than I owe on the car. (Sarcasm but not a lot)Granted I didn't inspect it too closely and that's my fault. But when I went in to get the warranty to be covered is when I found out I didn't get a warranty. So at this point I will not recommend this establishment from here on out. The more I talk to folks the more I hear horror stories. And that's sad. I had great experiences until now.

Found the perfect truck for my family and I. Drove 3 hours to test drive it and sign the papers. Even called a day ahead to schedule a time to come in and explain my financing(100% financing). After signing all paperwork they said it would take 5 to 7 days before I could leave with the truck. When asked why they said so the lenders check could clear in their acct. Not how thats usually done but I said ok because I wanted the truck. Then they said they would need $1000 to hold the truck the lender and I both committed to buy. When I told them I didnt have 1k because nobody told me about it when I called. They said well we cant promise itll be here in the 7 days it takes for the check to clear.Lol Then 2 days later salesman calls saying they need me to drive back out to sign title paperwork. According to my lender all of that shouldve been done already the 1st trip. After all of this AND MORE I talked it over with the lender and backed out. HORRIBLE CAR LOT. BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES. Wouldnt recomend them at all.

WASTE OF TIME!!!!! SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICE!!Found the vehicle I wanted, got a final number and a buyers order. Submitted it my bank (which they have delt with before many times ). I contact sales guy (Javier Vasquez)and tell him it s approved, let s finish the deal. Guy tells me that they (Owner Jamie Wilson)won t release the vehicle to me for 7-10 days unless I pay cash!!!My credit union does bank drafting and payment is almost immediate. Why would I even want to buy it now if I have to wait 7-10 days to pick it up!!! Why would I go through all the trouble with my bank if they don t except outside financing! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!!! SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICE!!!!

Best car buying experience I have every had! Fast easy and the FIRST time i wasn t mos treated because of my credit score. I suggest seeing Jason if you need a vehicle! If he s not there; is off that day, the entire staff is great you ll be in great hands.
