These guys that run this transmission shop or freaking awesome, they fixed my transmission on my 2018 Chevy Silverado and I ain't had a liquor problems with it it does really good they were real polite real nice and they did it in record time and the warranty is excellent they gave me two years or 24 months whichever comes first which I thought was funny when they said it but it's just a joke. If I ever need transmission work I'm definitely going to Kenny's.

Our first time with them. They were highly recommended as they r the only game in town that can do water pump replacement and timing. It's a detailed jib for my ford flex and we knew the labor would be high. They performed! My car was done 2 days early. It was such a relief to have professional mechanics do the job efficiently and replace all the belts gaskets etc timing chain . The labor was worth it! My flex runs great! Thank you to the guys at the shop! See u next time

Honest place of business, they have worked on my car twice. Mechanics from platinum Chevy and Christian bros have told me on separate occasions that I needed repairs north of fifteen hundred dollars. On this occasion I let Christian bros repair the cooling lines and they said I needed a new radiator. I got my car from them and let these guys look it and they said I could drive to California.Service: Auto exhaust system repair

Had a transmission done by them about 9 months ago and it s been back 4-5 times for the transmission alone they always say it s the pump and charge $200 to fix it and guess what the transmission is out again they always try to put blame on the customer. I definitely do not recommend this place full of crooks they definitely do not value there customers. If you do not let them take advantage of you they definitely wont like you. And if you leave them a bad review they will void your 3 year 100,000 mike warranty and come up with some excuse that your vehicle is out of warranty my truck was not anywhere over the warranty limit also they will blame the customer for any problems either there work I ve had 3 pumps replaced on the transmission since they replaced it and it has been back 5-6 times and they want to try and say it s out of warranty because of miles when it s never ran more than a couple thousand miles without breaking down. They are a sad excuse for a shop

These guys were amazing!! Its hard these days to find honest shops who will get your vehicle back to you in a timely manner and in working condition. The men in this shop treated me with respect and explained the issue I was having so that I could understand what I would need. I will never use another shop while they are open for business! Quality work, affordable prices and reasonable time, they say you can't have all three, but I guess those people have never been to Kinney's Transmissions!

Cecil has replaced a couple of manual transmissions on our Ram 3500 trucks with success. He recently replaced my clutch in my Ram 3500 at 180K miles. It drives like new. He took the initiative to fix a few things while he had the truck - said 'he hoped I didn't mind'. I totally appreciated him fixing the issues because I know that it saved me a couple hundred dollars in labor and lots of time since he fixed it all at once.This guy is top notch... proficient, professional, fast and priced lower than most and HONEST.About five years ago, I thought my truck needed brakes... He pulled all six wheels off and told me I still had 70% of my brakes left. I offered to pay him for his time and trouble, but he wouldn't take my money. He could have sold me all new brakes that day.... I appreciate his honesty (especially since I'm a GIRL and I don't know a whole lot about trucks and fixing stuff - lol)You can trust him with your diesels... transmissions... and anything else.

I recently started doing business with him about 3 months ago. First he did a brake job for me and instead of robbing me and doing all 4 brakes which i thought needed done he only did the rear because it was all that was needed. Than I had my transmission done here and he was great. Not only did he already know the problem with my car when I told him it was a 98 accord but he had it rebuilt in 3 days. During the rebuild he noticed a few things and called and said he would fix them at not additional labor cost if i wanted to buy the parts because he was already in there. I was amazed, there really aren't people like this around anymore that look out for their customers instead of just a paycheck. I will continue to take my vehicles here for anything. He's an honest, polite guy!

Had transmission work done there several years ago. The transmission went out a few days before the warranty. He honored the warranty but the transmission went out again, this time just days after the warranty expired. There was also damaged wiring to the transfer case when they were done. When confronted, the guy was a jerk about it. Tried to blame me for it even though it was fine when it was dropped off. Just an overall terrible experience. Would Not recommend.

These guys do quality mechanic work for a fair price. I had the timing belt and water pump changed on my 2007 Honda Pilot. I m very happy!

This shop rebuilt my transmission, said the test drove and it was good to go. Within 20 miles before I could get home it started slipping again. As I drove it back to the shop it started slipping very badly! The owner Cecil told me to just keep driving it instead of sending a wrecker. Luckily I didn't blow the motor. They rebuilt it for the second time. It's been just a few months and it slipped and banged real hard when it did go into gear. The owner, Cecil told me today there's nothing wrong with my transmission and if I want him to test drive it I will have to drop it off and he would put it in line behind all the other customers. So I guess I might have to leave my truck several days just so he can do a quick test drive????? NOT VERY HAPPY

Kinneys has done all of my repair work for the last 12 years. They have done everything from transmission rebuilds to brakes, water pumps, power steering pumps and even put a new motor in my sons truck about 5 years ago. They even fixed the horn on my truck 2 weeks ago so i could pass inspection. The work has always been top notch and the customer service is the best. Would never take my vehicles ( and i have 4 ) any where else.

I am not one to take my vehicles to a shop when i can do the work, knowing that... I recently moved into the area and wanted to give a shop a chance. I can say they took my vehicle in, troubleshooted the same day, and it was completed at end of day. Had to hold the vehicle the next day due to my job hours but i have no complains, it was an A/C problem. Would recommend them to someone else

Me and my parents have taken our vehicles to Kenny's for years now. Very good shop. I've had to take my vehicles back a couple times after they were worked in but I'm totally fine with that. They made it right every time. My dad was a mechanic so I know some things are unavoidable. Again, he made it right. Some shops would've tried to get out of it. Kenny's is worth your business.

Took my 2001 Jeep Wrangler to this shop after being at another shop. The other shop couldn t diagnose the problem so they just wanted to rebuild it . Kinney s serviced it and sent me on my way . It s amazing when you have enough transmission fluid in it how good it shifts. These guys are honest and up front . I recommend this shop to anyone.

I started using this shop about 6 months ago and love these guys. They are always honest with me and really work to make sure the job gets done right. Cecil is so nice and is an great mechanic. I highly recommend this shop.

Been using Kinney's Trans for over 18 years; they are the best! They do it all from oil change to transmission rebuilt; your vehicle needs work they can fix it! Friendly, knowledgeable, hard working men! I recommend them every time someone needs auto repair!

Have always used Kinneys to look at and fix my vehicles. Never disappointed, in 2015 Cecil after years of wonderful service proved once again why we use them. Cecil did us a real solid in 2015, my son was born and bring wife/son home and car wouldnt start. He towed it, fixed it, waited till my wife was cleared to drive to come pick up my car. Didnt charge me extra for the few days it sat there, Cecil asked several times how wife/son was (son was premie with feeding issues). Since then we have sent numerous people to him with good results, even my work had used them. Highly recommend!Thanks for always being honest, fair and treating us right.Chuck & Carolyn Gift

This shop rebuilt my transmission, on the way home it started slipping. Cevil the owner said bring it back. On the way back it was slipping so bad I was worried about the motor blowing but cevil told me just drive slow. I made it there. Owner was very apologetic and said he'd rebuild it again himself. I was not upset just inconvenienced by having to get rides and Barrow another auto for the second time.Within a couple months it had slipped a few times and had some vibration issues. I asked owner to test drive it, I was told to drop it off, put it in line and he'd drive it when he had the chance. I was also told if it didn't slip all the time it wasn't my transmission. Ok, now I'm not happy so I posted a bad Google review. A few days before the warranty ran out I stopped by the shop and asked him to test drive it with me so I could point out my issues, vibration at take off and when you gave it gas. He told me he didn't need me along but I jumped in anyway. He agreed he could feel the vibrations but told me my transmission was doing exactly what it was supposed to and it was probably a motor mount??? He was very upset about my bad Google review, which he got due to his attitude and insulting my knowledge. A slipping tranny, vibrations he agreed to feeling etc, was probably a motor mount. I have worked on cars since I was a teen!!! I'm not stupid. As he walked off I asked him to listen to a rattle coming from the torque converter area, I think loose bolts. He shrugged his shoulders and told me if I wanted a new ride go get one.TODAY 7/18/18- I went to Kinney's transmission and cevil asked what he could help with. I asked him to tighten the convertor bolts before they come all the way out. His response was drop it off, put it in line and he would fix it and charge me for a cracked flywheel since I didn't have them originally replace the flywheel. Again I'm not stupid, the flywheel and torque converter are bolted together which I brought to his attention. He said if it was just that he'd fix it free but I'd have to leave it as he had customer's ahead of me. He could have tightened those bolts in minutes and the way I saw it I was in line over a year ago, of course he already has my money! I told him to be ready for my next review. He responded with a threat that him and his attorney would be waiting for me. Really??? I'd love to see him spend money trying to control my freedom of speech!!!!!I noticed his reply of my review today saying my story couldn't be further from the truth, I wouldn't believe that if I were you!!! I am telling it how it went with his dude and I'd never recommend this shop for anything! He's really nice, till he starts loosing money then he's a real butthole!!!!!

An honest shop with terrific customer service. My husband stopped here with a 2010 GMC 2500HD (diesel) transmission that was acting up. He was working in Texas, but we live in Alabama. The shop owner/technician spent a few hours with him diagnosing the problem. Instead of talking him into a HUGE repair bill, he was totally honest and truly went out of his way for to help (without charging a penny). My husband was able to get the truck home, although it does need some work. My husband has 40+ years of personal automotive repair experience and he told me, "Even if I just needed air in a tire, this is where I would go."

KLK Mobile Service has been doing business with Kinneys for about 10 years now, we are about 45 miles from Cecil's shop and we have our vehicles towed there for repairs, They have done 6 or 7 transmissions for us, one that we had a problem with, instead of having to have it towed back to the shop, Cecil himself drove to our shop in Waxahachie to diagnose and fix the problem. I had a motor home that got stuck in 2nd gear, called Cecil to have it rebuilt, instead, on his dime, he sent me 2 shift solenoids in the mail, told me this was most likely the problem and how to replace them, replaced them and problem solved. Cecil is a very honest person, and is always our first call for transmission repairs. I would, and do recommend him to everyone that ask's me where to have a transmission rebuilt.

Had a bad experience here with one of my prior vehicles a few years back. Should have known better just by the dealership I was working at & the work they were doing with Kinney's. I do Not recommended for anything. Paid a couple thousand just for the car to barely make it home. Avoid this place at all cost.

They rebuilt my transmission 3 months ago. I had something to wrong with the transmission last week and they put it back in the shop and fixed it for free because the warranty their work. Great service!!

Cecil and crew have kept my vehicles going for 15+ years. He's honest, will tell you what you need, and doesn't try to rob you. The works always been done right.
