This place is amazing. They definitely stand by the pride of being a good honest mechanic. They follow up promptly and don t leave cars just sitting on the lot for days or even worse WEEKS at a time. They won t sugar coat and won t try to use those overly complicated terminologies. They break it down for one to truly understand! That means a lot! It s amazing they do all this even with the way the world has become so greedy and freeloading looking for the next person they can take advantage of. At J s Automotive and being a woman I feel at home I feel safe I know they will treat me like a person and not an uneducated female like other places have before!

My name is TJ Allgood.I took my 04 GMC in to get a new rack and pinion done.They took care of me like know other.Very nice and welcoming.Was fast getting me in and getting me out and back on the road.Was very Reasonable on prices.They make they're money but also keep in mined we also have a life. and family, mouths to feed as well.I'm just very thankful for them.Glad to see good people still out here and that are mindful for others as well.So this will be my #1 go to shop.And I highly recommend everyone else as well to make this your shop to go to for anything.Thank you again

J's is the repair shop to actually listen to me when I explain the issue I am having with my car. I am always surprise how much less my repair bill is than it would be at other repair shops and the the quality of work is always spot on. My car has never gone back to Js for the same issue he fixed and I CAN'T say that for other repair shops that I have used over the years. I do have a old, old car so its always something needing to be replaced. But atleast when my vehicle is at J's it is in good hands and I appreciate that! I highly recommend J s Automotive. They re honest good people. They ll get your vehicle rite and do it a timely manner. I brought my vehicle in rite before they were going to close and they stayed late to diagnose the problem and had it fixed the next morning. Saved me lots of money and time. I really appreciate your honesty and your work. I ll definitely come back for any other repairs that need to be done on all my vehicles

I was disappointed in their customer service. The technician made a mistake, copying my VIN off of my Motorcycle The inspection did not go in the system . It was not caught until I was at the tag. Office ..went back over for him to rectify the mistake, and he insisted I have to bring, the motorcycle back before he would rectify his mistake, Even with me, holding the paperwork in my hand. This will require me to take another day off of work for his mistake.Just disappointed and how it was handled.. The tag office, even agreed it would only require him putting the proper Vin in his computer not an entire new inspection.

I took my car over to them early in the morning thinking I had issues with my suspensions. I thought the issue would be a whole day affair. However, upon diagnosis, the issue had to do with worn out brakes and rotors. A whole day affair turned out to be just within 2 hours! Really appreciate their service and honesty! Definitely recommendedService: Brakes

While traveling from Baton Rouge to Dallas, our AC stopped working. We called around to every dealership and they were too booked up to help us. Found J s Automotive on Google, gave him a call and he was able to get the issue resolved in about 15 minutes. They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable! I would highly recommend them for any of your car issues!Service: A/C installation & repair

It's so hard and rare to find an honest and good mechanic shop. This is definitely one of the few you will ever come across. Last week, my car broke down in Dallas, and the only shop I would trust is J's. Had the car towed here ($300 towing fee). Unfortunately for me, they weren't able to fix it. However, they were honest and called me to provide me with options on other shops that would be able to do the pwork.No matter what, I will be a lifetime customer. Thank you guys for making a stressful experience that much more bearable.

UNFORTUNATELY THIS REVIEW is being revised. After multiple mechanics told us that every part he replaced was faulty. Leaving $3500 worth of our money stolen by J s Automotive.We are hoping that they stand by their word, and they re warranty warranty all of this for up to a year.After changing all the Gasket in our X5 but one of the components was faulty and we started losing oil again. When we contacted Josh and let him know what was happening he said bring it back up here and let me look at it that s when he found out what was wrong it was a it ended up being a faulty manufacture part and was covered under the warranty at no cost us. We highly recommend going to see Josh he knows exactly what he s doing.

I have had my vehicles serviced here several times over the past three years. Everything from brakes, AC replaced, diagnostics, oil changes, to routine maintenance.I've never been disappointed. Professional, friendly service and very reasonable. It's nice to have someone who's knowledgeable and trustworthy that can do all my automotive needs!Great people helping others. Can t say enough good words about J s Automotive. My husband and I were traveling across the state when our air conditioning went out and the temp gauge stopped working. We just had the compressor replaced a few days earlier so we suspected a faulty temp sensor. We were 2 hours away from our destination but needed to fix the problem then and there with a baby and a dog in the car and nearly 100 F outside. We found J s Automotive on Google and called him 30 mins before closing time. Not only was he able to see us immediately, he quickly identified the problem, somehow got the replacement part delivered to the shop even though it was after hours by that time and got us back on the road within 1 hour. Chevy service center that was around the corner didn t even want to take a look when we pulled in there first. He truly was a life saver and I m grateful we found him. Now I only wish we lived close enough to use his services regularly!Services: A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning

First off I just want to say that I am definitely one of those stubborn men who insists on doing all of my repairs and maintenance myself however running a small business myself makes time management very difficult after doing research and talking to a few people I came to J s and let me tell you I couldn t be happier with the quality of work prices and punctuality he has done a tremendous amount of work on all of my vehicles and I don t trust anyone else with my vehicles I highly recommend and will be a customer for life. And congratulations on the new location so happy for you guys

Our son was driving through Terrell on his way to Dallas on a Sunday evening when his car broke down. We called and left a message asking if his car could be seen the following day. Not only was the call returned Sunday evening, but accomodations were quickly made to fit the car in Monday morning. Fantasic customer service and we were treated fairly--highly reccomend!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I had a light come on my dash and took my car in to J s around 11am.The mechanic scanned my car and told me what the problem was immediately.Within hours my alternator was replaced and my car was ready for pick up by 4pm!The swift service and no delay for small repairs made me feel like an important customer in a lot full of cars. They are busy, but take the time to help each customer.I will be taking all my car needs to J s Auto!!Thanks guys!!Service: Battery

Professionalism to the highest. I m from Louisiana and my transmission had went out on me during a recent trip. J and his crew went above and beyond to fix my truck in a timely manner. But mostly they wanted to make sure that it was done properly and that I made it back to Louisiana safely. Excellent service by phenomenal staff!!!

J's was an absolute life saver. My wife and I were from out of town visiting and our vehicle started sputtering and having trouble on acceleration. Upon arrival to his shop, he was able to expertly pinpoint the issue of a misfiring sparkplug and preform same day restoration of functionality with clinical precision.Thank you J's.Services: Electrical repair, Engine repair

J's Automotive, car trouble, can be one of the most stressful events in a persons life. When you are faced with, assessing the problem, price, and time that it will take to get it fixed, trusting, the person that you choose for this task, to be honest, and above board, to take all of that into consideration. "J's Automotive, is definitely the place that you want to go, and 'J,' and is definitely the person that you want to talk to". He oversees every vehicle that comes into his shop, and discusses repair, price, time, and other options with you beforehand. If he can't fix it, he is honest enough, to tell you who can. J is knowledgeable of classic older cars, as well as new models. He stays so busy, that I advise going by to talk to him, or calling to set an appointment. He is very Honest, Professional, and sometimes he might seem a bit tough, but its an honest, and good tough, and not shooting you a load of Bull, to waste your time, and his, or take your money. Keep this in mind: Choosing a mechanic is like choosing a Doctor. I highly recommend J's Automotive

Honest and "On Top of It"..best repair shop I've been to in a long time. I had 2 vehicles to get inspected (mine and my wife's). He took very good care of us. My truck needed a gas cap and had a small leak. The total price was 10 bucks UNDER what he quoted! I will definitely return and send others here! GREAT JOB J's!

J's Automotive is an A++ shop. I was having the dreaded death wobble on my F250 and he spent the time going through everything that could possibly be causing it. Which is more than what the dealership did for me. He's very thorough and thinks outside the box which I really appreciate. We will definitely use this shop again in the future. I had broke down on I20, heading to Louisiana, when my power steering went out. After talking to roadside assistance, I figured it would be cheaper to get my car fixed in Terrell. I located this shop online and read the reviews. Let me just say they are accurate.Everyone was very friendly and professional. The customers as well were welcoming. I would definitely recommend this shop to everyone. Jay was straight forward and knew exactly what he was talking about.
