I had a tire blowout on my camper at 4pm 8 miles from Terlinqua which also blew out hydraulic lines and metal siding. Diego brought is tools/truck to the camper and replaced the tire on the roadside. He then proceeded to help temp fix the hydraulic line and siding so I could continue the trip and get home. He was a life saver and went way above what 99% of others would have done. THANK YOU Diego!!!

Had a tire leak and Coach-Net put us in contact with Diego. He was at our location and repaired our tire which was punctured by a rivet in less than an hour. Very efficient, friendly and prompt - highly recommend! Thanks so much!

We had a valve stem failure right as we were getting in to town the first night of our trip. We showed up to Diego s the next morning with no notice and he had us squared away in less than 30 minutes and charged a very fair price for his service. If you need anything tire repair related in the area, Diego is the man! Thank you, Sir!

I mean, what a trip-saver this guy is! We slashed a tire in Big Bend which must happen often as we met two other couples there getting service for the same issue.Diego and Carl were beyond great and provided the best customer service I've ever experienced with car trouble. We thought we would have to drive to Alpine on our donut and buy a new tire but, I called Diego's and he had us patched up and ready to go in about an hour. Great patch job and for a very fair price. Two very friendly, honest, and hard working men and I would highly recommend them if you need ANY car servicing in the park.**BTW--We put our tire back on our car so he could get to another car faster! He offered to put it back on but we insisted!*****This is CASH or CHECK only!Luckily, a couple had extra cash and we were able to venmo them thanks to Carl giving us the WiFi info! Good people.

We got a flat tire around Panther Junction. Diego was able to fix our tire situation so we could still enjoy our vacation. He was so kind and didn't gouge us. 5 star service!

Add us to a long list of extremely happy customers. Labor Day weekend and our tire is shredding tread and no tire shop for 75 miles. Screw regular tire shops. We had the best service from Diego. He went over and above and was friendly and very fair. I am so happy he was recommended to us. He saved our trip. Diego should be giving classes on service and how to run a small business!

Had a flat at my campsite north of Terlingua and was so worried I would have to hitchhike home but Diego got me a whole new tire, installed it and even aired up my other tires for free! Life saver for sure! Highly recommend

I went to Diego a tire repair back at the end of December and it was by far the best experience I ve ever had at a tire shop. We got to Diego s place around 6 PM and had to knock on his house door to come out and take care of us. He ended up not having any new tires so we bought two used tires because both front tires needed changed. After he got started I cracked a Lonestar and had a conversation with him while he worked on the tire. The whole operation lasted 45 minutes and cost $180Later, around 10 pm, we had problems with the same tire. We went back to Diego s place and he fixed the tire for free. In addition to great service there are great rocks near Diego s that are worth a quick gander and made the whole process of getting a tire repaired or changed, far better. I can t praise Diego enough, he has a great business.

I'm grateful for Diego. Knows his craft and runs a fair business. I think we got him out of bed early on New years day. He sprung into action. Quickly found TWO pieces of metal in our leaky tire and had us back on the road in no time. Thanks!

Picked up a nail at some point on our drive between Carlsbad, NM and Terlingua. Discovered the morning after our first night in town. Showed up at Diego's unannounced, he had us back on the road, ready to drive around and explore Big Bend, in under an hour! Unbelievably reasonable price, too. Would've gladly paid twice as much for such an inconvenience in the middle of our road trip.

Diego s tire repair saved the day!!! We were visiting Terlingua and woke up with a tire going down. He had us all fixed up and back on the road in less than a hour. Very reasonable and great service. Highly recommend!!!!

Diego is great! Hard worker and very fair price. He helped us get a tire stem quickly repaired so we could get back on the trails. Even shared some insight on a place to eat locally. Certainly recommend to the overland crowd for any tire issues you may have on the trails and around town.

I found a rock sharp enough to slash a 12 ply truck tire and I was about 10 miles off the pavement. The factory tire changing equipment on my truck wouldn t work so couldn t get the spare off. Carl made a very strong effort to find me and over the course of 5+ hours he and Diego navigated every obstacle to get me back on the road. Can t say enough about these guys and the price was very reasonable.

Had a punctured tire on Easter Sunday in west Texas. Diego picked right up, patched the tire and had us out in under an hour. Saved our butts. Amazing.

The man is a life saver! We had loss tire pressure and the only gas station in Terlingua had the air machine out of service. We knew that on a Sunday it was going to be tough to find tire help but everyone directed us to Diego. I checked online and said he was open Sundays at 11am it was 9:45am we called anyway, no answer, but he called back and said he would help us!! We ended up having a nail in our tire and he right away patched up!!! Complete life saver!!!! Thank you!

Got a small puncture coming out of The Goat Pens mid-afternoon on a Saturday. I assumed that Diego would be closed, like every other tire shop from Terlingua to Alpine, but he took my call and was more than willing to help me out. I delivered the tire to him and he patched it....no problem....25 minutes. If not for Diego, I would have been sitting around until Monday spending money on lodging and Lone Star that hadn't been allocated for the trip. Probably saved me more than 300 bucks. Very fair price considering the circumstance. Thanks for being there, Diego. You are a credit to humanity, and one of the many reasons people love Terlingua.

Diego is reasonably priced and quick to help. I had a leak in a trailer tire, he found it, and patched it in less than 30 minutes. Go to him if you need tire repair in terlingua.

Ran over a Javelina last night and it slashed my tire. Went to put my other tire on only to find the shop at home gave me the wrong size. Luckily Diego s had a tire that fit and got me back on the road

Beyond 5- stars. Diego was contacted by AAA when we got a flat coming out of Big Bend NP around 8. He helped change the spare as contracted, but then went above and beyond offering to patch the tire that night so the original could be put on. When the tire wouldn t hold, he searched his shop and found a gently used tire to which he sold us at a very reasonable price. The entire job took him until midnight but he never complained about it being late or any other inconvenience. Truly amazing! With his help we were able to rest a few hour prior to making it on our way to White Sands NP early the next morning.

This guy is a life saver! Was visiting Big Bend in our Grand Cherokee in March 2022, when the rear drivers side tire picked up a screw and went flat quick (had tire locks with no key). After my insurance company called a tow truck from 2 hours away, I found Diego on Google. He had to cut the lock and figure out how to yank it off, then patched and salvaged the tire as it was getting dark. I actually drove on that tire for a couple more months until I got new tires. Will never forget this place for saving that road trip. Thanks again from Las Vegas (NV)!

On April 29, our party was leaving Rancho Mula Osa, our rental, for dinner. This was our last day and wouldn't you know it, we had a flat tire! Luckily we had a doughnut, which we put on. Since it was almost 6:00 pm on a Saturday evening and we intended to leave at 5:00 am on Sunday morning we began to panic. OnStar called Diego as we were headed to Terlingua and he graciously said he'd repair the tire when we got there. He quickly took care of the tire, and considering it was after hours, he did so for a fair price. Diego was our hero that day!

We got two nails in our tire at some point during our travels through Big Bend and discovered the slow leak on our way out of the park. We found Diego s tire shop through the other great reviews online. He did such a thorough job and took extra time to make sure everything was sealed and fitted properly. Really appreciated his help. We also enjoyed having pets with his very sweet dog, Dimas, while we waited.

We were vacationing in Big Bend National Park and on our way back to our VRBO we got a flat tire. We changed it and called Diego and explained what happened. He told us to come by whenever because he never turns anyone away. So helpful because no other shop was open until Monday and this happened on a Friday night. Not only did he patch the tire that went flat he put our spare on the sensor wheel for us. He was so thorough, very nice and did a fantastic job with extremely fair prices. Highly recommend Diego's Tire Repair!!!!!!

Back country camping at big bend. Got a flat. Rock stuck in the tire. Put the donut on and drove 25 miles to get to go Study Butte. Diego took me right in and had it repairs and reinstalled while I waited. Back on the road and I m good shape. Thanks Diego. Use this guy if you re in the area and your tire goes.
