They got me in and had my car fixed in 4 hours as I was headed out of state for the holidays. They were decently priced! Excellent work and service!

This genius opened my brand new bottle of engine oil, turned the 5 quart jug upside down, and proceeded to (over)fill my engine all at once. It already had a front pan oil leak. That leak was minor until they overfilled it. After overfilling it, they left the engine cap off on top of the engine and slammed the hood down. Which of course is not good or professional let alone smart because it let's in air bubbles and more. Now there is SIGNIFICANT and worse damage. Where there was once a small leak, due to the pressure and being overfilled the oil just POURS out. When I informed them a few days later what they did, I received no apologies. Instead I was literally yelled at and blamed. They told me previously after I went there and spent several hundreds of dollars on various other repairs, that if I ever needed them to refill my oil, they would do it no charge. I went up there 3 times with a jug of oil (that I purchased myself along with my own funnel). They used this as an excuse to why it is acceptable to overfill my tank and leave my engine cap off. SMH. Just because you poured in my own oil, doesn't give you a right to overfill it and leave my cap off and act like it's no big deal and somehow my fault for the further damage you caused. None the less yell at me. Own up to what you did. These guys also stripped my drain plug. Real great work you did on my vehicle. I have all of this on video btw and pics of their negligent actions. Don't waste your time and money here people. If you have existing problems on your vehicle, they will just make it worse and want you to pay them more money because you'll have to continuously come back after they damage something to your vehicle when they're suppose to be "working" on it.

Absolutely the best auto shop in Temple. SUPER fair and honest mechanics, that do fantastic work. Being a woman, many mechanics treat me differently or try to take advantage and that has NEVER been an issue at Sure Shot. Roger and Jeff helped me out this time around. I ll never go to another shop as long as I can help it!

I took my car there for the window motor on the drivers side well the window is not on the track rightand I can see it fall forward when the window goes up and down and the mechanic that is there won't fix it right, he was very rude and cursing me out, I guess I'm gonna have to file a lawsuit cuz I paid him to fix my window and is is not fix, the judge will see the pictures and videos of how the window is working

Guy seems really honest and got issue fixed first time around. Best price I could find before deciding to use service. This is the place to come for things to be fixed right on your vehicle. The owner is very honest and that is hard to find in mechanics. I never take my vehicle anywhere else. I highly recommend Sure Shot!

Sure Shot came to the rescue when my son s 2013 car broke down on Hwy 35. We live in New Braunfels & he was driving home for the holidays, he attends UT Arlington. Luckily a guardian Angel suggested I call Jeff who took my call & it was a Christmas weekend 2022. Roger who was the mechanic fixed the problem as well as give helpful tips to help keep his engine running longer. I highly recommend Sure Shot, they are honest & know the business. We were traveling from Houston back home to Lubbock and had a fuel injector go out. They helped us out within an hour and had us back on the road. Very reasonable pricing and awesome customer service!

The owner himself dealt with me and he was very respectful, very generous with his time hey Jump Right In like I was the only customer. Was extremely reasonable price wise and is even still to this day telling me to come back to pinpoint what's going on with my AC if it's a minor or major thing. I feel extremely comfortable and I'm new to Tempe and won't take my vehicles anywhere else!

Edited from my original post, wanted to update since I got additional service from Sure Shot. I originally dropped by for a pre-purchase inspection at the end of the day and they were nice enough to squeeze me in before closing for the day. They were thorough, very transparent on pricing estimates for work that had to be done on the truck and a great prepurchase inspection price. Prices at other mechanics in Austin where I live weren't even close. I drove two hours round trip to come back and get those fixes done at Sure Shot because of the quality, their knowledge and such great price. Great bunch of guys and highly recommend their service.

I took my 2005 Ford Mustang here after being quoted $850 to fix my racks and pinion, and 600 to DIAGNOSE some other issues lol I called Sure Shot and they pretty much diagnosed it in person for free and gave me a very reasonable quote. They finished my vehicle very quickly! Replaced my racks and pinion, my oil pan, two valve cover leaks and gave me an alignment. Very honest people, didn t try to sell me something my car didn t vitally need. My car runs so much better now! Would recommend them to anyone! Shop came highly recommended from a neighbor and I now share their opinion. Shop owner was very professional and explained everything that they were going to do with my truck beforehand. I needed a tune up done and called around to many places in Temple. This place quoted me half the price that other places did. They went above and beyond to get me taken care of! They also have the best customer service! If ever in Temple again and have car problems I will definately be using them! I would highly recommend anyone having issues to check Sure Short Automotive out!!

I was needing assistance in pre-purchase car inspection and Jeff and his crew at Sure Shot were AMAZING!. They were receptive to what I wanted them to check and answered all my questions. I drove up close to closing, like so close to closing that I was just going to make an appointment. The guys listened to my issue, asked a few probing questions, and then asked me to pull into the bay. I was repaired and blowing icy cold air within 25 minutes. I was told that if I had any further issues, which were not anticipated to swing back by whenever. Now, it may be a simple solution to some, but when it is 102 degrees outside in the sun, it was a life saver! I really anticipated in making an appointment. The price was quite reasonable, but what price can be put on cold air in Texas in July? I will be a forever customer!

Just wanted to share my past and recent experiences with Jeff and his crew at Sure Shot Automotive.Starting off, I'd like to say that I first met Jeff back in early 2016 when he was the Manager at Meineke in Temple. I first took my company vehicle, at the time, to this shop for regular maintenance after experiencing a lot of issues and poor service from other shops in the area. After my first encounter with him, I began bringing my company vehicle every time. I then began bringing my personal vehicle to said shop because Jeff had earned my trust by displaying great work ethic and customer service along with honest labor and shooting me straight when it came to parts and work needing to be done. I then changed companies and a began bringing that company vehicle to him as well.Over time, i had issues with my 06 Ram 2500 ranging from the notorious A/C system issues with this year model to Tie-Rods, Differential and transmission flush, Pinion seals, U-Joints, Wheel Bearing, Steering Shaft etc. If you are like me have a hard time with trusting mechanic shops and Manufacturer shops, then you understand that these parts can be a big deal when it comes to choosing a place to get the work done.With Jeff, This wasn't the case. I knew that if i took my personal truck to him, he would see that it was done right even if he wasn't the one doing the work. And if another mechanic at Meineke messed up or forgot something, Jeff would always make it right and fit a definition I had learned growing up farming which is "Your work also defines who you are".Never once in my experience with him have I ever felt wronged or misinformed. He always saw that the customer was taken care of and that the work being done would not impact their safety. That being said, if during any work being preformed, if he came across something that needed to be addressed immediately or soon down the road, he would always inform me of the potential problem, the cause and the possible outcomes.Back in August, I began experiencing issues with my 13 RAM 2500 that i did not want just anyone to work on. especially dodge based on a personal experience i had with them. I then got in contact with Jeff and was talking to him about my truck issues. At this time it had been 2 years since i last had anything worked on by him due to me moving. After finding out that he now had a shop of his own, I took my truck to him same day and got the work done later that week immediately after my parts had arrived.Jeff and his crew were understanding with my situation and the effect that downtime would put me in due to my job. Not only was the work preformed in a timely manner, but the work was done right! They took no short cuts on any labor and stayed committed to getting the job done right the first time. There was no goofing off, no bush whacking or lazy idle time like you see at most mechanic shops. The work and customer service was better that what i had experienced even from a Manufacturer owned shop and honestly saved me from having to spend over $6,000 on parts, labor and downtime had i taken it to dodge.Long story short, I live in Kaufman, TX which is roughly 2 hrs from temple. Based upon the Customer service, work ethic and integrity displayed by Jeff and his Crew at Sure Shot Automotive. I would make this trip just to get work performed on my personal vehicles. I highly recommend them.Thanks again Jeff for the continued years of quality work!

Repeat customer here. Both Jeff and Brandon are very honest and trustworthy. They will show you what's wrong, and also what needs to be fixed now and what can wait. I will continue to take my vehicles to them for service.

Both Brandon and Jeff were extremely helpful in explaining everything they were doing with my car. I didn't feel like they were trying make money off of me by telling me I needed things fixed, that's a relief for someone like myself that doesn't know the business. I have already referred them to my friends and family and will continue to do so.

Had to take in the 2014 Evo X GSR because it was making a horrible noise while the engine was running. Jeff and his team helped us figure out that our exhaust manifold was cracked in multiple spots. After we ordered the part someone else recommended that didnt work, Jeff and his team helped us pick out an aftermarket one. They were quick to tell us about any changes in getting our car back and were super helpful throughout the process. Will be taking all my cars here in the future.

I feel so fortunate to have found these guys. As a woman, it is easy to be taken advantage of when it come to automobile repairs, and I have had my share of rip-offs. That is not at all the case with this place. They are professional, friendly, super quick, honest, and they know what they are doing. Usually when you go to get it, it cost less than quoted.
