We had a great experience at Garlyn Shelton with Will. He is absolutely amazing, personable and really took his time with us while we were trying to decide the best vehicle for our family. We never felt rushed and I truly felt he had our best interest at heart when making the decision to get into the vehicle were now in. It s been almost a week in our new vehicle and we absolutely love it! It s comfortable and my family loves it! Thank you Will for everything!

I had a very pleasant visit all the way through until I finally found the truck I wanted. I never felt pressured one time through all my decisiveness. Everyone truly went above and beyond to make my experience great from sales to service and making sure I didn t leave until I was 100% satisfied. Will definitely be returning when that time comes again. Which will probably be soon for the wife. Thanks again to everyone and I love the truck. Couldn t be happier

Steve Welch did a great job walking me through all the fantastic options in my new GMC Denali truck. It s sooo awesome! My experience here at Garlyn Shelton has been great. This is my first NEW vehicle purchase for myself ever. They made it such a good experience. I highly recommend them. Kory, my salesman was great too. Went on Monday to see what I could do to get a new car. Was in communication with Dravin B about a vehicle I was interested in. They had some in transit, but ended up looking a lot a Buick envision. Thanks to Dravin, I was able to get the car and use mine as trade in! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Dravin was very knowledgeable about the vehicles and informative during the whole process! Highly recommend this dealership and Dravin B!

Garlyn Shelton was great! They made the buying process easy, especially with me coming in from out of state. They had the truck I had been searching for and for the best price in the entire country. Everyone from Matt Gray in sales to Winnie in Finance were absolutely a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them for anything GMC/Buick/Cadillac.

I took my car because of a letter that I received about the car needing a turbo. That was fixed no complains. The problem was that they told me all these things my car needed, and I declined to fix them. All I wanted was the turbo replaced. That being said when I took my car to you it was fine just wasn't getting speed. When I got my car back it was worse than when I took it in. Not happy at all. The paper they gave me said that engine light was off and my car had a courtesy wash. That was a lie. As soon as I took the car engine light came on and the car was running bad. Didn't get washed like I was told. Took the car somewhere else, and come to find out someone at the dealership had messed up the engine coil which was fine before taking it in. We will never take our vehicle there again. We believe it was intentional because we declined to have everything fixed on what you suggested. Now thanks to someone else the car is running perfectly fine. Very disappointed with Garlyn Shelton.

Mikey worked very hard to get us into something new for the best monthly price possible! He took very good care of us and we were able to walk out with a 2023 GMC Terrain with less than 7000 miles! The most entertaining part of the whole experience though was when we were shown a 2024 Terrain first and Corey, my husband and myself were all trying to figure out how to trigger the sensor to open the back hands free. We were looking like we were dancing in the parking lot try to swipe our feet under the car to trigger the sensor. We ended up not getting that vehicle, but it was hilarious! I would highly recommend Garlyn Shelton to anyone!

Harvey at Garlyn Shelton Cadillac was AMAZING!! He answered all our questions, was fair, and honest with the entire process.We buy a new car once every year or two and we had lost faith in customer service at different dealerships. The past three vehicles we purchased were complete nightmares. But Harvey has restored our faith that there are still good sales people out there.To be honest everyone at Garlyn Shelton Cadillac was great. Everyone was friendly and helpful!!We loved this place and recommend them 110%!!! Thank y all for everything and thank you Harvey! You rock!!!

We have bought more than 4 cars from Garlyn Shelton and were so disjointed with the service department at the Garlyn Shelton GMC Buick department. We were told one price for a few maintenance fixes with no labor since the warranty coverage already was providing the main work and so the car would already be open to working on so what no extra labor. We ended up paying $300 more than what we were told over the phone by Andrew Kelso because he added extra we were not told he was going to do and we did not ok that work to be done. Will never send anyone or buy another car from Garlyn Shelton.

Unfortunately my truck broke twice and I was forced to use their service department. Both times I had the best service I could ask for. Tiaja and Walt were patient and kind folks with exceptional knowledge and were able to explain things simply. These guys even have a shuttle to pick you up or drop you off. The lobby is clean and spacious too. They have appointments sooner than anyone in the Killeen area, and deliver superb service on time or sooner. I'm sold.

I just purchased my 2024 GMC Terrain truck from them. Luis was very polite and professional. He treated me like a VIP and I appreciate that. Most places would treat me like it was my first rodeo. But not here. They made me feel valued and made me feel as if I was purchasing the vehicle cash money up front. Luis made sure I got exactly the vehicle I wanted and that I didn't settle for just anything. Thanks Garlyn Shelton. I will be returning for my next vehicle purchase for my husband's truck!

Bad experience. I don t recommend.1. The Make Ready , made the vehicle worse. Shelton GMC uses spinning bristles brushes to wash the vehicle. It swirled the clear coat. Now I have to buff out swirls. They should disclose they do NOT have a touch free car wash. Had they disclosed spinning bristles, I would ve told them to NOT wash it at all! Their detailing took over an hour to scuff the exterior and smear the interior with dirty rags.2. Sales manager told me he would personally get the vehicle into make ready and finance to save me time. He did not. That is a lie in my mind. Doing what you say is step one toward integrity.3. 2024. Why does it take 1/2 a day to purchase a vehicle. They made it a long hard day for us to buy a vehicle. Streamline the process. We were there from 11 am to 4 pm. We arrived knowing the specific vehicle from the website. We live in San Antonio. We still had a 2-3 hour drive to get home.4. Why is the Finance department still trying to sell stuff at signing? Financially prudent people are not going to pre-pay future maintenance expenses or pay interest expenses (finance) on an extended warranty that runs concurrent to the factory warranty and adds no additional benefits.5. Lastly. GM RETRACTS rebates for well qualified buyers. We knew we qualified for the 1.9% for 36 months. But it cost us the $2,000 rebate. Our interest expense for the 36 months is $1,774. Removing the rebate added $2,000 to the drive out. Effectively buying down the rate. Internet sales had previously emailed me the drive out that included all discounts and rebates. I was clear in my email to internet sales that I was using the 1.9% incentive rate. Still, they withdrew the rebate and did not honor the emailed offer. That s deceptive.Overall. It was an arduous, time wasting, poor vehicle fulfillment that completely deflated what should have been a pleasant rewarding experience. This experience is what gives me a negative connotation for car salesman and dealerships.Buyers beware.

I give A1 Star due to the salesman we got his name is Harvey I had never experience what I experience with him on 3/29/24 as we re trying to decide on a monthly payment, and Dan payment, what was right for us, he goes to the back and starts talking about us like you wouldn t believe very unprofessional I was discussed with what he was saying about us. Beware again salesman is Harvey Not going into details it s a lot it was too much for me to experience with this man

We started the purchase process on Saturday afternoon over the phone. Told them we would be there around 10:30 Monday to finalize paperwork and pick up the vehicle. We arrived at 10:30 and had paperwork done within 30-45 minutes but the truck wasn t ready until around 2:30pm. It was supposed to be ready at 10:30. Thought we were saving time by starting paperwork early but clearly did not help the process.

Had a warranty claim to replace a tire. Tire to be replaced was front passenger side tire. Shop replaced rear passenger side tire. Now I m an hour away and won t be back in the area of the shop with flat tire. Wont be able to get back to shop till next week.Appreciate being stuck in Austin traffic with 19 PSI in a tire they were suppose to replace 2 days ago.Update:I thought it was a simple mistake made replacing the wrong tire, I was wrong.I had taken my truck to this shop 2 weeks prior for oil change and tire rotation. At that time the slow leak was identified and tire ordered. Left the shop from the appointment thinking my oil had been changed, and tires rotated since that it was receipt stated.The tires had not been rotated like the shop was paid for, and what was annotated in the notes. Had the tires been rotated then the mechanic would have been replacing to correct tire.Don t trust this maintenance shop.

I have not gathered substantial information on the day-to-day operations of the dealership, as a a disclaimer to what I am about to say.There seems to be no system in place for creating timelines and deadlines for servicing. There is no communication for when the servicing will take place (the employees just guess), so the person being serviced can plan for transportation. A scheduled service appointment through the dealership is actually just a scheduled time to drop the vehicle off, whereas the servicing itself may be several days from that scheduled time. If you are a single person living by yourself, then in addition to the servicing fee, you will have to pay for a rental or Uber since they routinely don't have enough loaner vehicles. However, this inconvenience for the customer may be able to be solved by re-evaluating the entire system that is the service department.For starters, I would recommend the staff who schedule the appointments ask the customer if the servicing is an imminent problem or can wait. This way, the mechanics aren't backlogged with tasks and the customer can continue to use their vehicle if it is safe and drivable. Next, I would track the servicing process of a customer's vehicle and make this progress visible online so the customer can have some sort of idea how long they will need to arrange transportation. I don't seem to be the first negative review for this dealership so I will assume that customer service and satisfaction is not a top priority for company leadership. This , I would certainly recommend re-evaluating. An idea for enhancing the reputation could be to offer to reimburse customers for their rental vehicle while their car is in service. I understand that a shuttle is available and that is much appreciated when the service timeline is short. However, when it is a multiple day (sometime one week) timeline the shuttle can only be practical for so much. Compared to the cost of the servicing, reimbursing a rental for a few days is a minor cost. To be clear, I recommend reimbursing only if the service exceeds a promised timeline by the dealership.

Booked a service appointment for 8:00 AM on a Wednesday, and they didn t even look at my car until Friday after having to call them multiple times, feeling completely disregarded. Eventually had to get my father involved because I am a college student and the service department did not take me seriously. Then when my car was ready, they said they cleaned it, but it was filthy. No loaner or anything throughout the period I was without a means of transportation, and had to rely on Uber to get around in a town that doesn t really have Uber. Many people pay good money for the cars sold at this dealership and y all provide some of the worst dealer service I have ever seen. The average transaction price on a GMC is $62,367, and Cadillac is $71,699, but I think even a Kia dealership would take better care of their customers .

If you're like me, you hate when dealers try to add funny business into a car or truck before you buy it. Garlyn Shelton does NOT play those games. Go see Matt Gray, one of the few salesmen I've ever encountered that went to work getting me into a C8 for what I wanted to pay. No nonsense purchase, smooth as butter transaction, and I was in and out in an hour. Without me asking, he even reached out to the previous owner for any details I may have asked for. Dude is rock solid! Absolutely recommend seeing this man if you're in the market for a new or pre owned vehicle. Appreciate the effort Matt, you made buying this Corvette effortless on my part.

I had the best experience buying a car at Garlyn Shelton Buick GMC. Everyone was super friendly, the service was excellent, and everything was handled smoothly and efficiently. My salesman was Victor Miranda. He was incredibly knowledgeable and really took the time to explain everything about my car. Our car buying experience at Garlyn couldn t have gone any smoother! Matt Gray was our salesman and he was fantastic!
