We have been using this location for our maintenance needs on our vehicles for approximately 3 years. On our most recent visits we were expected to leave our vehicles even though we had a designated appointment. They got the work done but it turned into an all day affair. I feel that the customer service is adequate but their time management leaves little to be desired.

Called about a rental oil change (the guy on the phone sounded like he didn t care or want the vehicle there for one). He said I could drop it off not to mention this is a rental and he is completely clueless. So I figured I would do a walk in this morning at opening (7AM). Not one customer in there and he said to drop it off (rental car) I told him I could not. He said it would be 2-3 hours since national accounts cannot make appointments. And said it MIGHT be done after lunch. Terrible customer service and please make sure you put someone at the desk that can emphasize with the customers. I have purchased tires personally all the time from FSCAC and have a CFNA card as well. I may rethink my future tire and services due to this one store that is 1200 miles from my house. Judging on the reviews your corporate relations need to evaluate this store, seems to be losing business due to it. Just look at all the oil change reviews

Review of Poor Time Management and Unprofessional Conduct at FirestoneI recently attempted to schedule an appointment at Firestone to drop off my vehicle for a four-day service. However, I was shocked to find out that there were no available slots until the following week, making it extremely infeasible for me to proceed with the service as planned. This experience highlighted a significant issue with the time management practices at the establishment.Furthermore, I was disappointed with the unprofessional conduct displayed by one of the staff members, Eric. In previous interactions, Eric exhibited blatant disrespect and lacked a professional tone when addressing customer concerns. I believe that training in customer service quality and a more professional approach to handling client interactions are necessary for the improvement of Firestone's overall service delivery. In conclusion, I recommend that Firestone address the issue of poor time management to provide customers with better service availability. Additionally, I suggest that Eric and other staff members undergo training to enhance their customer service skills and approach clients with respect and professionalism in all interactions. This will undoubtedly contribute to a more positive experience for customers and improve the overall reputation of the establishment.

Passing through Temple and blew a tire on a Sunday. The gentleman there were able to fit me and get me back on the road. The Sales Rep at the front even helped out in the shop to get me back on the road faster. Amazing!

Talked to two associates through the process and they had a generally bad attitude and just kept repeating that it was going to be a long wait.Had a 0700 appointment. Set the appointment online and received a call a few hours later and the guy who called me immediately said the appointment was too early and to expect a long wait in a rude tone. I checked in right at 0700 the next morning and told the guy at the front desk that I had an appointment and he replied "everyone always has an appointment and everyone always wants to wait" in a very rude tone. Went on to listen to this same guy be just as rude to several other customers. I ended up calling my wife to come pick me up just so I could get out of that terrible environment. It is very clear everyone there hates their job by the way they treated and talked to customers. I will never be returning to firestone and will never recommend.

Zack and the crew at this location really took care of me when my tire blew out on a trip from Houston to Odessa and was really in a tough spot. Came in with 20 minutes to close and they worked me in and got me back on the road quick! Really appreciate the work from this location. FIVE STARS!!

Book an APPOINTMENT to wait even longer. Booked an appointment for my fleet vehicle, only to have the manager attempt to tell me they don t do appointments for fleet vehicles after I corrected him with proof that my vehicle has been serviced here many times over 3years AND a purchase order #, the level of incompetence became even worse. They demonstrated an extreme lack of knowledge when dealing with these type of accounts. Over a hour wait for for a basic oil change with an appointment. At least the roaches they have are hospitable.

The manager here doesn't know how to run anything. He refuses to make an appointment for an alignment like any other Firestone does and talks in circles about how he needs all day to do an alignment that he then says takes 45 minutes. He can't get the orders organized enough to make appointments.Went to Harker. 5

Making an appointment was easy and service was completed as promised. Let me add Eric and Scott were great and they ensured my truck runs right! Thanks y'all!

20-year Firestone customer here, with a large family that owns six cars, all serviced at Firestone. Just moved to the Temple area. This was my first (and last) time at Temple. I wanted an oil change, plus alignment, plus there was a noise I wanted them to look into. They charged me for a bumper-to-bumper inspection, which I thought seemed appropriate, as it would likely reveal the cause of the noise (I suspect it's the belt). I dropped it off and said keep it as long as you need, call when you have a more detailed estimate. They called the next day and said "all done." I picked it up and paid and went out and looked at my car.I THINK they probably changed the oil. The only reason I know that is because there was smoke coming off the engine from them spilling it on the block, but no sticker saying when the next one is due, etc. I believe that's all that happened ( I hope that at least happened, but I kinda want to crawl under there and see if it's a new oil filter, because given how bad they were, I'm wondering). No inspection report. I went back in and asked the clerk about the results/ report from the inspection and he looked like he had no idea what I was talking about, despite the charge for the inspection. I asked about the noise, which I said was probably the belt, and he said, "oh yeah, the tech thought it might be the belt too, but he (the tech) can't fix it." Huh? On the back page of the invoice there was a quote for 4 new tires, but they couldn't tell me my tread depth or why all 4 needed to be changed (I think one does, not four, and if they could tell me why I needed 4, I'd believe them, but the clerk didn't know and there was no inspection report). They did not do the alignment. They did not comment on the belt / noise (the primary reason I brought it in). They did not comment on fluid levels, brake status, etc. I paid extra for an inspection. Was it done? The world will never know.I have been a regular for 20 years, including 8 Firestones in 5 states. I have never felt like they were shady or untrustworthy until now. Hopefully one of the other locations in the area is better, but it's probably not worth the drive for me.Service: Oil change

Took my f-150 to get an oxygen sensor replaced, nd tuned after, left it for 4 days just so they could tell me they bent a 1,000 $ wrench trying to get it out and decided not to do it. Today i called to book an appointment for simple tires and i was on the line for 25 min before i decided to call using my work phone and got the same one moment please and waited 10 more min on both phones, yall make firestone look REALLY BAD , they need MAJOR help here .

This place has a piss poor attitude at the service desk. I had made an appointment for one of our trucks, and when he showed up two days later for the appointment time, they said he did not have an appointment. This is not the first time, but it will be my last time using them.

Customer service here is horrible. I will never go back. I got a flat about a mile up the road, so I pulled into the parking lot here hoping to get some help changing my tire because I couldn t get the lugnuts loose. When I went in and asked for help, the gentleman told me he could not help me because they don t have insurance for that . I said sir I m in the parking lot. I just need help loosening the lugnuts. I can change my tire on my own. I ll pay. He then stated Oh yeah you will have to pay. And we don t have time right now so you ll have to wait a while. At this point I was soooo frustrated, I told him no thanks. I ll figure it out myself. Luckily, my mom came to help me and between her and I, we were able to get the lugnuts off, so I could change the tire myself in their parking lot while their employees just watched. Kindness in this world is nonexistent.

Absolutely fantastic service. They fixed a problem caused by a different service center and DIDN T charge me, even though they replaced a plug and topped off my oil.Incredible. I am heading back today with another car for an oil change and will get new brakes at Firestone since they ve proved to me they are incredibly honest and have outstanding customer service.UPDATECame back for tires today. They upgraded the tires they quoted me and discounted the warranty. This place has the ABSOLUTE best service of any place, any business, I have ever used. Simply AMAZING.

very bad service. I pay membership at discount tires and I arrived at 5.30pm to repair my flat tire and they told me that they were already closed, when in fact they close at 6pm

They diagnosed my ac And said compressor had failed and wanted almost 2200 to fix so I bought the parts and had a regular mechanic install total cost 600 to discover it. Was a wiring problem and in addition to that did not even have the correct moter size on the quote for repair I would never recommend Firestone at least not the heights location there were several other issues to much to write.

Took my truck for simple balance and rotate. Waited an hour just to be told the lift was blocked and they couldn't do it. Scheduled an appointment 2 weeks later. Confirmed with the lady that scheduled the appointment that the lift would be available. Arrived for my appointment confirmed once again that the lift is free to perform the work and was told it was. Sat for hour amd half and my truck still had not been touched. Told them to disregard that i would go somewhere else. I have had issues with Firestone in the past damaging my rims on my wifes car, tried to give them another chance but that was my last time. Will never use them again.

Great service! Came for ac work on my truck. Very fair estimate compared to locate prices I got. Did an excellent job with the swap out, whole entire system, and did it in less than a day. Called me when it was ready and I was done! Always love the Firestone guys for honesty and good work.

I used to work here. This place is such a rip off. Reading all these reviews it seems people are starting to find out. They are slow. They don't care about the work they put out. I'm a factory trained tech. Their idea of trained is sit behind a computer and answer some test questions. Their customer service is still apparently garbage. Everytime I go to Texas to visit friends and family I cringe when I go by here. I cringe going by any Firestone. Your best bet. Stay away. There are other places with better customer service and who will treat you right and not give you a 20 thousand dollar bill for waiting 2 hours and not even fixing what you came in for. I wish they would close all these places honestly

This Firestone took me in when all other tire shops in the area turned me away, even after calling and setting up appointments. They were quick, efficient, and understanding. They took us in right before closing and really worked with us. I m from the San Antonio are and this was an emergency case as well. Firestone has my own personal official seal of approval now.

I'm driving to Dallas in my own car for the first time to visit my mom, half way there it started feeling like I had no air, I pulled over to Firestone to see if my analysis's was correct, there were several cars ahead of me plus such a service cost, when the guy in picture number two desides to personally help me, he was kind of like an angel, he checked the car out, even had someone else come over to assist, charged me nothing and my car was fine. They could have took advantage of my situation instead I got nothing but love, look at his face ladies, if you live in the area, no ring.Car knowledge and sweet what more could you ask for. I approve this place

My tire air pressure light came on while I was traveling on Memorial day weekend. I stopped by because it was the only place open. Juan Washington helped me check the pressure, located the metal puncture, and patched my tire in 10 minutes. There was no wait and he took care of everything efficiently. He's a great manager that also helped with the patch. I'm so grateful, and I'd recommend Firestone, Temple location to anyone in the area.

I scheduled an appointment here for 11 a.m. for a flat repair. I didn't leave till after 1 p.m. The service writer told me my tire cannot be fixed and they don't know where I can get one like it... 5 second google search and Discount Tire sells it along with 10 other locations within 30 miles... He was very rude and unprofessional. Absolutely zero help with a no care attitude... I watched him treat customer after customer like this. Will never return here.Service: Tires

Requested two new tires and asked for an alignment and tire rotation. This is the second Firestone shop whose tone immediately changed negatively once they found out I purchased the lifetime alignment for my vehicle. They said all three jobs should be done by the end of the day. Called at the end of the day and only the tires had been put on and they couldn t do the rotation because they couldn t get a lug nut off (if a tire shop can t get a lug nut off, who can?) The next morning I got a call saying they were waiting on the alignment tech to show up and would call me back no later than 10:30 a.m. I received no call and showed up an hour before closing to collect the vehicle with still only the tires put on. Two days total without my car for a set of tires. They seemed to do good work with the tires but all else is subpar, especially communication.

How many Firestone mechanics does it take to balance a tire? Trick question - they can't. After three separate trips to Firestone to have my wheels balanced, my tires were still out of balance.Save yourself the hassle and go to Discount Tire. They balanced my tires correctly the first time. It's careless for Firestone to consistently do such a poor job, especially when doing a task as simple as balancing a tire.If Firestone wants to apologize, they can pay the cost to have Discount Tire do it right, let alone the time I spent keeping my vehicle in the shop at Firestone. Otherwise I don't have much business visiting a Firestone again. I can't trust that the Firestone mechanics will care enough that my vehicle is leaving their shop in proper condition.Services: Tires, Wheel alignment

We were travelling from out of town and heard a noise from a rear wheel. We wanted it checked before travelling the 800+ miles home. The dealer couldn't see us for several weeks. Firestone got us in the same day and resolved the issue. 800+ miles later we remain delighted with the work done on our car and the terrific customer service provided by O.B.

Wasn't there for a service. I just had a question. The young man stopped what he was doing to answer a question regarding how to operate a feature in my car.
