BEWARE with Returns at this establishmentWhat a horrible excuse and way to run a business! I used to like this store, but they chose to die on this hill for an old and maybe expired $20 bottle of coolant.The associate Scott lied and tried to gaslight me, when he broke the seal opening the cap (to check if the seal was broken) saying he couldn t accept the return because it was already open. What a disgrace. I guess don t believe your lying eyes!The worst part is, I contacted corporate, they offered a gift card for $20, then towards the end when they were getting my information, the chat magically lost connection.I thought this place was a good alternative to Autozone and Oreiley s. Turns out they are more shady than both of those companies.If this is TLDR at least take heed to my advice and avoid Scott, the liar and gaslighting employee of this place. You might have to return something far more expensive than $20 coolant and get screwed. BEWARE

The guy that helped me was so sweet!! I was buying a steering wheel cover and he installed it for me!! Wonderful customer service!! Way better than belton or Harker heights where they made me install my own battery !!

Answered 'how to' questions with both the get it done solution and the more expensive approaches. Exactly what I needed.$6 solution versus the $40 solution. Basics versus the frills to mount a license plate.

I am especially impressed by Joe s attitude and knowledge. Joe helped me diagnose my problem, installed a new battery, and cleaned up the mess from the old battery that popped its caps. Joe has a good work ethic and is enthusiastically learning to be a great mechanic. I predict he will do very well.Thank you Joe!!!

Rachel is amazing!!! We came in to buy a Serpentine Belt, they didn t have it in stock at this location but we were able to track one down across town at one of their other store locations. We prepaid and headed to the other storefront to pick up our order. Long story short, we ran into a few setbacks with picking up our order at the other location. We called Rachel, who immediately got in touch with that store s manager and got the issue resolved. Thank you for all the help!!!

The associates are amazing! They are very knowledgeable and professional. They help each other to find the answer or part if others don't know. The store is very clean and organized. Honestly, I shop at the Temple Advance Auto Parts for all my automotive products needs.

So I bought 2 air filters for my car, turns out I have a custom air filter so I returned them on Sunday 10-9-22. Been waiting 3 days for a refund at my bank, so I called 10-12 at 7:51am. Asked if they can look up the order because I ve gotten refunds before and it only took a day but the guy wouldn t look the order up. He asked if I had a receipt and I said yes but not on me because I was at work, so I asked him to look it up again, then he said, well I don t understand your attitude?? Huh? I asked for his name and he wouldn t give it to me and I said so your not going to look up my refund? Who has the attitude now! Wow, horrible customer service experience. So I m 3 full business days and I m still waiting for a credit at my bank and there still have my money. Will keep you posted if and when I get my refund. You guys have lost my business permanently

This place sold me a battery they didn't honor the warranty I had the battery for only three months which I had a three year warranty they didn't want to exchange the battery so I went to AutoZone and got a new one I need my car they come up with all kinds of reasons for no refund like you left the lights on are it's the alternator my alternator is new I replaced it with the battery alternator is good it's they battery AutoZone told me they don't want to take money from me to take the battery back to them for a refund but I just tried and they want even for store credit it's AutoZone for me from now on

I bought a blower motor for 2007 Dodge 1500 years ago. I had a limited lifetime warranty on motor and you could not read faded receipt . The gentleman at advance auto parts worked with it until they figured out a way to replace blower motor. Very happy with their ethics and working with me to replace it, I had to pay nothing out-of-pocket. Thank you

I just got back from the Georgetown location on University I was going to swap out an ac compressor. Well they close at 8 and I was there at 8:01 and they told me to come back tomorrow. I just wanted to exchange parts no money involved I said and they said we open at 7:30 tomorrow morning. Well guess what tomorrow morning will be the last time they get my business. If they couldn't open the door for me and help me then they aren't all about the customer's. One minute late.

Great manager Stephanie holding it down. Bought about $300. worth of parts & didn't have to return anything. Bit of a turnover there but glad to see someone holding a high standard of professionalism and knowledge of parts.

always helpful , didn't have enough for jb weld to fix exhaust so someone there said they needed some to so they bought some and gave me what i needed to fix it.its rare to find people that honestly care about their customers

Visited Advance Auto yesterday. My car would barely turn over. "Thomas" came outside, checked battery. My Bosch battery was only 3 yrs old. My husband asked if he could give a credit on the battery despite they did not have that battery in stock. Thomas installed one of their comparable batteries, and, we owed nothing. Great customer service, and, very friendly during our time in need. He is a valued employee. I hope this store recognizes this.

On Wednesday my battery died and Walmart did not carry my size. I could not get into nissan until the Tuesday. Tried o reilly's no luck but 3 hours into hunting down a battery advance had it. Too care of me really quick installed my battery and I was off. Great Job!

Great place. I ordeted a bumper online and was sent wrong part. Customer service at corporate sucked, but these guys made good on it. Even gave me a discount to cover my shipping cost, then went above and beyond to get the parts I needed ASAP. Oh, and applied my military discount. So 5 patriotic american stars awarded. This is where I shop for parts from now on!

Several shoppers already occupied the store when I entered behind a group of three. The counter is busy, but I'm there to browse the aisles for some electrical goods anyway. I browse the shelves spotting a few items that may be useful.About 15 minutes in, the checkout counter is cleared. A voice calls out, "Can I help you find anything you need?" I can tell the man is walking in my direction, and I look up to respond.His appearance is clean and professional: hair trimmed neatly, clean shaven, clean slacks, shirt tucked in, not slouched, hands out of his pockets, friendly I'm-here-to-help smile. I mention I'm there for some random electrical connectors, and he closes with a final offer of assistance before returning to the counter.I figure him for management, someone with skin in the game possibly. Most places, staffers act as if 20 minutes of straight labor assisting a round of customers is strenuous work, a burden on their time (which they have sold to someone else at an hourly rate, mind you), and boy do they ever need a cigarette or at the very least the support of that counter.Not this guy. After about 10 more minutes, I'm about to check out, and remember I need one last thing. I turn toward the counter, and he's not hanging around behind it. He's in front of it, waiting to guide the next ready customer to the register! I say two words, in a querying tone: "Jumper cables?" He immediately replies, "Yes sir, those would be in the very last aisle."But that's not all. He starts walking in that direction. They're at the far end of the aisle, and he walks all the way there as I follow. Once there, he gestures with hands to point out exactly where they are, and returns to the counter to assist another customer.By the time I arrive at the counter he is already finished with the previous customer. I politely ask him if he can break a Benjamin for me while he has the drawer open, and he states he cannot. "I'm afraid they didn't leave me with enough to do that, and it seems like everyone has larger bills tonight."His response surprises me. I'd assumed he was at least higher level management, given his demeanor. I realize then that he has a rare affliction: a respectable work ethic.I'd been there the night before as well, again about two or three hours before closing time, and the same thing had happened, but with a different staffer - same willingness to assist, same congeniality. I'd gotten up to the counter with my items, and asked him for a starter solenoid for a 1971 Mustang. He had pleasantly surprised me when he didn't ask the trim or engine size like a robot or trained monkey, although I could clearly see the computer prompting for it. He'd skipped right past that selection screen, confirmed a reasonable price with me, disappeared for what seemed mere seconds, and returned with the solenoid. Instead of just dropping it on the counter and ringing it up, he'd actually removed it from the box, set it upon the counter, and asked if it looked like it would do the job. After verifying that the power relay posts were fully copper (they'd appeared to be on the surface; hopefully they are all the way through), I'd said it will be fine, and he'd rung up the rest of my items. Instead of just iterating a total price, he'd then asked, "Is there anything else you need?" Can you believe that?Though he'd been much younger than the man assisting me today, and in need of a shave, I'd appreciated his professionalism and the way he appeared to be there to work, not just waiting for punchout time so he could get to his car and light up a joint for the ride home.This place has management that cares about their business and their customers. That's the only explanation for getting consistently helpful service from different staffers on different nights, Friday and Saturday especially. This kind of service is too rare for it to be coincidence.This is now officially my favorite parts shop and should be yours too. Well done, I say.

I called ahead to order an alternator for my vehicle and they held it for me. I showed up and was notified that one with more amp output was cheaper so I bought it. 30 minutes later, I returned with the core for a quick an easy refund.

I can usually count on Advanced Auto Parts for all my shade tree mechanic needs. Just a heads up though! When I came in last week I was informed they are not doing diagnostic testing during COVID. Hope this saves some people valuable time.

Had the only shady parking space in a 5-mile radius to park my car so I could eat my burger from Bird Creek Burger Co., so thanks for that. If I'm in Temple and need to eat food in my car, I know where I'm coming. Have mentioned the parking space to a couple of friends, as well. Who knows, maybe one of them will wander into the store and buy something.

Staff was professional, courteous and helpful.Acknowledged me on entrance, Did not act condescending being that I am female, which I find most refreshing these days. Definitely will return for any future needs.

I had no issue with my visit, I called and asked if they had a part and they said they didn't but would have it there by 2:30. I went by there and everything was there. Had no issues, will be back for any further parts. Thanks for yalls help.

The men there helped me to find out what may be wrong with my vehicle! Checked the battery, and did a check engine diagnostic for me! I am a woman and it was great to have men treat me like I was NOT stupid!! So refreshing!

The employees are very nice & extremely helpful. For a woman that doesn't know that much about vehicles, they make it easier when shopping for auto parts.
