I couldn t love this place more! Always friendly and professional. I got my oil changed yesterday and they asked if I also wanted my wipers replaced if they needed it (they definitely did) and I ve been happy every time they swipe smoothly across the window in this rain! Really appreciate the whole staff and the way they treat everyone with the same respect.

This is the best place in the world for oil changes, routine maintenance, and repairs! They are HONEST and FAIR. I ve never received better service anywhere. I drive 30+ minutes to have my car serviced here. The fellas are amazingly helpful and don t try to upsell you services and products you don t need and that s greatly appreciated.

I can t say enough great things about Good Ol Fashioned Oil Change. I am new to Taylor and my car suddenly stopped. A man stopped to help me and called GOFOL out who checked our vehicle and had it towed for us to his shop. He not only fixed the problem but saved us money by completing a full look see of our vehicle and showing and telling me what needed to be done before completing the repairs! His daughter is just as amazing with her hospitality and smile! I have and will continue to highly recommend them

Spectacular, at minimum.Truly a good ol fashioned experience. I was greeted quickly, the owner was very interactive with every customer. Every customer was offered a drink at welcome and leave. Even a customer offered a lady his chair when she walked in.Very informative.Went for an oil change, my windshield was cleaned, car floors were vacuumed, fluids topped off, etc!It was like a hop back in time. Loved it!The hospitality was a gem.The owners grandmother has cute Knick knacks she makes and he has in a basket and sells for her, even had her photo on the wall! Cute!

These guys are great, super helpful, friendly and reasonably priced. Been going to them for years and will continue because of the great service they provide. They always have a cold water or soda for you too!

Seriously the most informative place to go in town. I go in for an oil change and asked about rims and they said we ll get your vin and look and see what we can find for you. When I come in here I m always greeted immediately and everything is looked at and if they see anything that doesn t look right like a light or bad tire they always tell me somewhere in town that can help me out and to please get it taken care of because they truly do care about not just customers but people in general. If I have to go anywhere else for an oil change like Walmart I always feel like I m not in the right place and never get any feedback or even a friendly greeting. At least here I can kick back watch tv and they always offer me a beverage

Update: I wrote this review 6 years ago. I can STILL SAY that their customer service is STILL AMAZING.Superior customer service! They're friendly and they take care of your needs in the utmost timely fashion. They also have courtesy drinks in case you walk in thirsty. I highly recommend them to all my family and friends. I am so glad I no longer have to drive out of town to receive such awesome service.

Can't say enough good things about this business. The people are awesome! Went out of their way more than once to do an oil change on my vehicle. It's a diesel Equinox and seems no one has oil for it right now. (I went to multiple places over several weeks.) They found the oil and filter, then said they would keep it on hand for me. (Yay!) OK, so this was actually my first time coming there. When I got there I was greeted with a friendly smile. I was offered something to drink. I was offered to wait in the waiting room where it was warm. The two gentleman that worked on my vehicle were very kind. Had a great sense of humor. And they did way more than I expected them to on my vehicle. All for a reasonable price. I was actually blown away. The guys here were very helpful and courteous! They did a full service oil change, checked tire pressure, checked all the fluids and greased all the fittings as well as checking the rear differential. They cleaned the windshield and vaccumed out the entire interior. They even offered us cold drinks while we waited. They were so fast and did such a wonderful job! Oh and did i mention they have great prices for all the services they provide! Thanks guys! I will be back for my future oil changes!

Super friendly and knowledgeable. It s no wonder they re very busy, these guys work hard and know what they re doing. They have resolved several issues with my vehicles and never try to up sell. Wow what an awesome find. Hometown, small town service just like the good ol days!! Also met the sweetest grandma who drives all the way from Austin to get her oil changed there. I can see why, too! This is the place I would send my grandma to, as well. Super friendly and attentive. Washed the windows and vacuumed out the interior. I will be coming back for sure. It was a really great experience. The guys running the shop are very welcoming, nice, and professional. They're super friendly with their customers. Apparently they're also really involved with their community which I think is really fantastic. The prices were fair and was I told that I ever need a top up on any fluids then to pop on by and they top up fluids for free before the next time I need an oil change. They were busy when I arrived but was out the door in about an hour's time. The other customers I spoke with also had nothing but wonderful things to say about the staff.

I love this place! They are always helpful and very friendly in person or on the phone! What I like most is they don't try to upsale or anything like that, they are super honest and offer options when asked. Typically they help you in 30 minutes or less, and they assure you're comfortable! Prices are very reasonable, and I always leave smiling! They even take the time to clean your windshield and vacuum your car, which if you're a mom you know why this is so awesome! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

I found my new place to get oil changes. Everyone was very nice, professional, and hilarious. Fast service, clean lobby, and they offer you a drink. I have never been treated that nice, just for an oil change at Walmart. I will definitely be back. The best part, it s local and family owned. Thank you guys for being open and being awesome.
