My truck horn stopped working during our travels. While visiting my cousin, she recommended where she has taken her car for many years, Texas Auto Repair. They fit me in quickly, knowing I was only visiting a few days. They were able to get the part (steering wheel clock spring) and repair it in one day! Great service at a reasonable price.

Easy to work with. Have had a number of different types of repairs done to my truck and have been satisfied with all. They worked on my truck as long as it took to get it done and let me know what they were doing with it. Good experience with them every time. Thanks

This is my first time here. I didn t know if I can get what they put on the flyer sent to my mail box. But the people there are so nice, understanding and accommodating. They fulfilled the service within the time range. They explained everything clearly and patiently. They even went out of their way to help me find a very good inspection place nearby. The experience really exceeded my expectations. From now on, Texan Auto will be the primary place to go for my car service! And I definitely recommend it if you are also looking for a trustful place to go for your automobiles.

To sum up our experience, it was above expectations ! My wife & I came here for a tune up, and they were very professional & personable. I appreciated how they welcomed us when we came in as a new customer. They listened to what we needed for our vehicle and they even asked us if we needed a ride to get to our next destination. Upon pickup, they fixed our vehicle well, the price was reasonable, and I appreciated how they checked in with us to make sure that it rode well. I definitely recommend Texan Auto Repair!!

I am a new customer at Texan Auto. So far, I am very impressed with their service. Mr. Jose was very kind and worked with me to help make the prices more affordable for the repairs we needed done. Everyone I spoke with was courteous and made my visit pleasant. The waiting room is clean and comfortable. I will definitely bring our vehicles back.

Brought in my Chevy Express 2500 van conversion for some major work. Replace steering gear box , front and rear suspension shocks and alignment.Came in on Wednesday at 8 am with a promise of delivery next day by noon. Imagine my surprise when I received a call saying that my van was ready ( 3.30 pm ). Work was done and one week later at time of this review all is well. Thanks very much for a professional and timely job. Great Experience.

Took one of my trucks for alignment and I m glad I did. From desk to shop, people here are extremely nice and professional, they even went out of their way and worked after hours to give me my truck back the same day (I arrived a little late). Place is extremely clean, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for alignment.

Based on good Google reviews, I brought my car to Texan Auto Repair & Collision for an oil change on 3/12/24. And the consequence: I ll have to spend the money to fix an oil leak much sooner then I needed. Therefore, I feel obligated to share my experience in hope of helping others from making the same mistake of believing in those reviews.The leak has been minor and closely monitored - only a small spot became visible if the car was parked for about 5-7 days. After a $40.07 oil change done by Texan Auto Repair & Collision, 2 spots of fresh oil leak were shown in the driveway on 3/13/24. I brought the car back on the same day and showed the photo of the fresh oil leak; they did jack up the car and did something but offered no satisfactory explanation.On 3/14/23, one spot of fresh oil leak was shown. That means I ll have to spend $445.15 to Replace Engine Oil Pan (per their estimate) much sooner than needed (of course, it WON'T be with them.)BE AWARE!!!

"I recently took my car to the Texan Auto Repair and Collision center for some much-needed repairs. From the moment I dropped it off, I was impressed with the level of service and professionalism. What really stood out, though, was the regular updates I received during the days my car was in the shop. The team kept me informed every step of the way, so I always knew what was happening and when to expect my car to be ready. Came in with my daughter to have the Car s brake pads and tires replaced. The waiting area kept my toddler entertained with childrens books and toys there. The guy at the front desk even gave my kid coloring pens and paper to use while waiting for the car.He treated my little one like a princess and also got us an Uber ride home.The price was reasonable and the car was fixed right. No complaints. And will definetely will bring our cars now to them. Thank You very much!

I have know Terry for over 15years now.After been through multiple mechanics and been either robbed, fooled or having poor workmanship, I was fortunately referred to his shop. Since then I have received professional and affordable services. He educates and provides you with multiple options to choose from. Most important thing for me is the honesty. I guess that is why by grace of god he has grown his business manifold.Thanks a lot for all your help.

I took my SUV in for a brake check. Sure enough the back brakes needed replacing. What I didn't know was other things needed replacing as well. I didn't have the cash needed so I was given a number to apply for credit. Once approved he narrowed down the most important jobs. He called me an Uber and sent me on my way. I'm so grateful that he didn't let me drive out of there because I probably wouldn't have went back. They had the repairs done on the time promised. They followed up to make sure everything was okay. I had a concern about a new noise I started hearing. I took it back in and they gave it a look over. I wasn't prepared for the repair so they patched it up and gave me an estimate so that when I'm ready I can come back. The staff went above and beyond to assist me. I couldn't ask for better customer service. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart .

These guys are great. They take good care of the cats for my family and friends. They are not the cheapest and not expensive. They are comfortably in the middle. And their work is amazing.

The advisors are amazing, very honest and straightforward, and attentive, and the techs know what theyre doing. they're a really genuine, trustworthy shop that I'll continue going to for years to come! Couldn't recommend enough!!

Hands down the very best auto repair shop in the Houston area. Super Honest, helpful and friendly. Texas Auto repair has always went far and beyond to make sure I was taking care of. I won t ever trust my vehicles to any other shop.

I really can't begin to say how thankful I am to Terry and his Team at Texan Auto Repair & Collision. From the moment I walked through their doors because my truck had been in an accident to when I got my truck back, they have been the best! Terry worked with me and my insurance company to make sure I got the best parts needed and at the best cost. They made my truck look brand new! Honest, dependable, set the right expectations , and the best customer service hands down from David and Ryan. Since then I have become a loyal customer through and through!

I first learned of this shop through the owner Terry who also owns CarStar Collision. They repaired damage to the front end of my S550 Benz and did an excellent job. Later that year I needed front end work done on my suspension; when I got my car back I fell in love with the ride and the performance all over again.Additionally, I recently had a leak in my radiator and they replaced that and did a wonderful job! I use to take my Benz to Mercedes of Sugar Land for repairs and on several occasions I was disappointed with their work and high labor, notwithstanding on one occasion they replaced a part that I did not need.Therefore, I will continue to have my Benz serviced at Texan Auto and I would be remiss if I didn't compliment Terry, Jose and Rush who has provided stellar customer service. No shop is perfect, but when you are treated like family and told the truth about repairs needed for your vehicle you look no further.

They are so friendly and helpful at this auto shop! Their communication is awesome and they are so transparent with prices and don t try to swindle you into do more work on your vehicle than you actually need! I will for sure keep going here!

These mechanics are so thorough and so honest. Very hardworking .They are very prompt in diagnosis. In some cases they will refer you to the dealer but anything the do is well done.They are very kind too. I was surprised one day when they ordered Huber for me and paid for it.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

Friendly staff, prompt service done right, reasonable price. Took my 2003 Corvette in for a 4 wheel alignment. Completed in about an hour with no hassle and no upselling of non requested. services. Highly recommended!

Got recommended by some friends at discount tire. You can trust them to not scam you out of your money. If problems arise, they ll show you in person what s going on and you can see the underside of the vehicle.

Texan Auto Repair is by far the best body shop in Houston. The customer service is excellent as well as the price. They did a fantastic job with replacing and painting my front bumper. I Would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for body/tire/brake services.Terry is a fantastic owner. Keep up the customer service !
