Carroll did an amazing job on my vehicle. Went to 2 other places and they couldn't figure it out. But he did. Very professional and knowledgeable.He kept me updated throughout the entire process. Thank you for a wonderful service experience. We need more mechanics like you!

20/10 service!The gentleman I spoke to on the phone and in person was super friendly. He said he would get the mechanic to take a look and that I could wait in the meantime.We didn t have to wait long at all. Our car was taken back and was fixed in less than 20 minutes felt like!Much thanks to the staff member at the register and Mr. Gabriel the mechanic.Can t recommend this location enough.

I give Mr. CARROL store manager five stars. I had to call him at home Thursday, Friday and Monday and Tuesday To help me get My fleet vehicle fix. This man is out on leave, and was the only one that helped me. I got no help from the fleet manager, district manager, and others that help work the counter. I also give Joe the Mechanic five stars. He was the only one that worked on my vehicle fixed it correctly and kept me informed. I guess they are trying to ruin that store and run it down sabotaging the sales running customers off. I ll be glad when CARROL come back so I can getting other work done. Thanks CARROL and Joe for the great customer service every time I come.

I normally don't have a problem here but this time was very different. Had it towed to the shop, and they replaced the starter and battery. As soon as I turned the car on, the check engine light was on. This was late on Wednesday. I called to get an appointment and they set it for Saturday morning 9:30am. When I get there, they tell me it's going to be a couple of hours before they can get to it. Instead of going back and forth, I left and called them back to see when I could bring my car back. They told me about 1 or 2 pm.

Went here to change some tires out and that went fine. No complaints about that, they installed them well and in a timely manner. The reason why I am only giving three stars is because they inaccurately told me that all of my brake pads were bad and were going to need to be repaired. I had my mechanic friend inspect them and found out that they were nowhere near ready to be replaced. In fact, the back brake pads were in better shape than the ones in the front yet they told me here they all were in bad shape! Honesty goes a long way. NEVER lie to a customer just to land a sale!

Went there for an oil change and they took 2 hours. Not only that but left with my car smelling of gas. Pulled over to look and saw they never put the cap back on. Could had completely ruined my engine.

Outstanding service. Very detailed and attentive to the issue that I presented. Mr. Carroll is a serious individual that is dedicated to doing quality work. His assessment was dead on and the shimmy is no longer present. Great work!

Technician failed to close the hood of my vehicle, another car informed me it was open when I got on the road. I asked to have the tires rotated and the paperwork said they were but that wasn't the case since I wasn't asked for the wheel lock and the same tire that had the low tire pressure was still in the same spot after I got my car back. My first time there and it wasn't their best.

Great fast service! I looked everywhere, and Pep Boys was able to mount my mobile home tire immediately! I was able to get my business going quickly! Awesome place. Guys really know what they are doing at Pep Boys Hwy6 location in Sugarland.

I went to the pep boys in sugar Land and after going to o'reilly's, autozone, and one other place. I ended up at the Sugarland pep boys and worked with the supervisor Carol Williams who provided excellent customer service to the point where he has endured me to pep boys from here on out. I did not know that he was the manager of the department but the way he handled me in addressed me was superb and evidence to superb managerial skills and abilities.

CUSTOMERS BEWARE: MECHANICS LIE TO LAND SALES. 2 WEEKS IN A ROWLast week: I got my cabin air filter replacement here which was fine. They told me my battery was bad however I got my car oil changed, serviced, inspected, and repaired at toyota dealership, walmart auto center and a local body shop from a friend all within a week timeframe. None of the three parties told me anything about my battery. I have no warning lights, or trouble starting the car as well. I took this statement with suspicion.This week: I went for a alignment repair. I have the pepboys lifetime alignment warranty on my camry. They fixed the alignment however this time they lie again and tell me my engine air filter, cabin filter, shocks and drums need replacing. I got my cabin filter replaced at this exact same location just the week prior. Read above. They tell me I need to replace it again. I got my engine air filter replaced at walmart auto center in front of my eyes. They tell me I need to replace it again. They have crooked mechanics in the back trying to land sales by saying random things need repair and fixes. 2 weeks in a row I was lied to. They need to fire these mechanics because they just lost a long time customer. Luckily, houston is filled with auto/body shops on almost every street. Hardworking and honest mechanics are everywhere. This is definitely not the right city to lie about auto care. It is very easy to detect a lie here.

Excellent customer care. Carrol and Jake were awesome and took care of my Tesla for Alignment, balance and rotation. Carrol also arranged a drop off for me at my office. I highly recommend pep boys at highway 6.Best.

This place sucks! I've tried going there twice, and the atmosphere is that I'm bothering them with my existence. From a simple job of having a cage put on a catalytic converter, which was already approved and cleared, I had the parts! I just needed installation. The guy was not quite yelling, but he was escalating his tone while saying I was misinformed and the job wasn't possible. The second time was for an oil change, and I swear I walked in pleasant and calm. He asked a particular billing question, and as I'm trying to find an answer, he's just seething and visibly upset that I am having trouble finding answers I just left. I'm not gonna beg these dudes to take my business. I'd rather go somewhere else.

I went to pepboys to get my headlight changed. It was in a difficult spot for me to reach so i thought they could change it for me reasonably....Wrong... i have a jeep grand Cherokee 2018, they quoted me over $700 to change out a headlight lolol. The bulb itself was going to be over $200. Crazy!! I ended up trying harder to do it myself and i was able to do it. It only cost me $25 for the bulb. So while i do think the customer service was good, the price wasn't.

This particular location is a scam! I went in needing new tires and wheel alignment. They quoted me $2400. I was blown away by how high that price was especially since I have insurance on my tires. Thankfully, I said no and left. The next day I tried another shop and got brand new tires and a wheel alignment for under $500!! These guys here at this location will pocket your money. They scam people, so please beware.

I booked my appointment online prior to showing up for my appointment after work for my battery change, the installation process was easy and I used to work by the heights location. The process wasn't too long. It was the cheapest one around. Will be back in the future.

THOROUGHLY IMPRESSED...My experience at pep boys was one I'll never forget. I stopped for a tire pressure check and left with much more... I was told my tires were on the verge of bursting but luckily, the mechanic, Jeremy, was able to service my car that day. As I was leaving, he went above and beyond to teach me about how to protect my engine for future damage.I am so grateful for the service, expertise, and excellence at PepBoys. I 100% recommend!!

We attempted to call the store to let any employees know that we were at the light next to the store at 6:50pm-no answer. We pulled into the drive at 6:53pm and were informed the compressors were shut down and we couldn t get a plug in our flat tire. Hours say they are open til 7PM on Saturdays, so we wasted time driving to them instead of Walmart. We should have picked Walmart. Same distance away. Do not go here. This place is a scam. I spent 1200 dollars for breaks and rotors and I took it to another shop after having trouble with my brakes and come to find out I didn t get new rotors ! They just flipped them ..Never go here. They have to be pocketing the money.

It s no wonder why pep boys is a oddity among parts and services in the automotive world.Went in for ac diagnosis came back with less refrigerant n hotter air.Wanted 300 dollars to put back the Freon they took out. They didn t mention that before hand. Maybe it was in the fine print I didn t get to read since it all showed up on the debit card screen and was quickly skimmed through by the worker.Paid 77 bucks for hot air! Thanks pep boys

For whatever reason,my car has really showed out for minor but inconvenient issues.I had 2 nails within a month .While the others looked around,feeling inconvenienced, unwilling to help,Jeff care of me on those 2 occasions ans I am extremely grateful because I wouldn't have been able to come early in the morning..This is a review worth writing because he is deserving of the recognition.Very empathetic and helpful employee.
