I was over charged!!!!!! "Dallas" my Jeep needed a Starter bottom line I was charged $500 ($140 for starter and $350 for Labor). I was told I was over charged!!!!!! Starter at Autozone starts at $99 and I was told by many the starter is simple to replace. Females beware!

Adam is always reasonable. They have towing available, work w/ you on payments, etc. They do great work in a timely manner, even when you walk in w/ no appointment. If he has the space and someone available to do it, he will.

The guys know transmission, my transmission was done in a day. They don't try to sell you what you don't need. The tell you exactly what you need and their prices are spot on!

Prices are more affordable even by just a little compared to other shops. Up to date, respectful, just remember, (get what you give when it comes to respect.) If some may think wrongly? Is Houston PD trusts him.. why can y'all? Enough said!

I am very pleased with the rebuild of my transmission and the good, honest service that Adam and his shop provided about a year ago. My transmission has worked perfectly since he rebuilt from not working at all and at a fair price. You can judge a good place by all the happy customers picking up their vehicles at the end of the day and that is what I saw here when I picked up my vehicle. I think the couple one star reviews are unusual and isolated. Adam is very nice and honest and did good work on my broken transmission which now works perfectly.

Adam is a great guy, very honest and knowledgeable. I came in looking to do a repair on my transmission because of the age of my minivan, but he said that the performance was fine, and that it would be helpful but not immediately necessary. He has earned my business. I would recommend him.

Adam is a very honest and helpful mechanic shop owner. We went in there on a Saturday 1 hour before they were to close and he was able to tell us what was wrong and fix the problem right away. He made sure we were happy & satisfied. The prices were decent but mostly we didn't feel like we were getting ripped off.We will be back and Adam is highly recommended. Two thumbs up.

It was a great idea to take my car to this shop. The owner Adam was very polite and made sure my car was in good hands. He also explained to me what was wrong with my car and it was surprising that he was very knowledgeable as the owner of this company. He promised to fix my transmission in two days, and he kept his promise while keeping the price low. I advice anybody with a problem in there transmission to go to this place.

Great auto repair place, work on my car is always excellent. I found this place when my transmission was a mess. Their prices are so reasonable, and i now trust them with the total care of my car. In fact i am here now waitng for new brakes to be put on. I also refer my friends and family here because their work is so good. A friend had her car fixed some place else and she was still having problems so i told her to bring it here. She did, problem fixed and she has not had any more problems. As a woman i trust these people to be honest with me and they are, which is rare for many places. These guys are honest and fair which means the world to me. They take time to explain and show me. They are just so very nice, regular and down to earth people who do a really good job. Well my car is ready now so i need to go.

Make sure you get warranty paperwork that states exactly what the warranty is on transmission work they do and keep it in a safe place. They will leave you hanging without it.I've had 3 "rebuilt" transmissions from here that lasted 90k miles total.I suggest finding another place for transmission work...

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!I have never written a review online because I don't have time and desire to do it before, but this bad experience made me to write a review.I went to this place couple times and had good experience last year around COVID peak. They were not busy back then. This time my car would lose power all of sudden while driving and would work after restarting. It clearly was an electrical error. I left the car with him for the day and was charged 150 $ (50 $ parts and 100 $) for a faulty ECM relay. The next day I had the same issue with my car.Since then I took the car 5 times to him. I was asked to wait on couple occasions, on other I was told they were too busy. Every time I was told that they have too many cars to deal with, if I leave the car, they won't get to it in 2 days. I asked them to give me a time and they told me to come on Friday, which I did and was sent back again because they didn't have mechanic available. He told me to call next time before coming, I called on another day at 830 am, Adam (manager) told me that he will call me in 45 minutes which he didn't. I called back and was placed on hold for 10 minutes, called the 2nd time and was placed on hold. His assistant told me that he is busy and if I want to bring the car, it will be 220 $ for diagnostics. I just lost it!!!! I was charged 100 $ last time for labor and diagnostics, so should have been covered this time. Even if he wanted to ask more money. 220 $ for diagnostics is high compared to any similar businesses in the area.This was clearly a way to tell not to come again. They are getting busy and seems like deal with major car issues and have no time for issues that might not be much profitable.After 2 weeks of hassle, time and money lost on uber rides, I have to take my car to another mechanic. Please avoid them at any cost. Just because of the good reviews I came back 5 times to atleast get a reliable service, but I think greed is corrupting their attitude. They might be good in their skills but worst in managing their business and maintaining a good clientele.

The owner Adam offered great service from beginning to end with great communication in detail with the repairs being made to my jeep. A full rebuild on my transmission of a jeep wrangler has my jeep running like new. UPDATE: in the past year and a half I have had jeep grand cherokee V8 engine rebuild and a mini cooper S cvt transmission valve body change which had hard shifting. To this date all cars are running perfectly with no issue.

Highway 6 Transmission Center is the best place to get your car transmission fixed. After been couple of places where they wanted to charge me arm and leg, I found Highway 6 Transmission on Google. The owner, Adam is very friendly and the staff knowledgeable. They gave me a very affordable price and got my car ready in just 3 days. I highly recommend them.

Great place to get your car fixed. The owner is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. I didn't have a ride after I dropped my truck and Adam (I believe that's his name), let me have a loaner car for 4 days. Great place.

This shop has wasted our time and our money. We came to Adam with a simple engine problem and he kept our car for much longer than needed or expected. He wouldn't pick up our calls when we wanted an update, he lied to us about deadlines and kept pushing it back and had our car for a month. Worst part is that he outsourced the mechical work to someone else, so his "shop" isn't capable of doing real mechanical work. He will certainly overcharge for the work that isn't done by him and he will take his sweet time doing so. Adam is the worst person to do business with and certainly isn't a family man that he claims to be. BE AWARE OF THIS SHOP.

This place is run by crooks!!! came to get transmission fluid change and rear differential fluid change on my 01 Honda CRV. They charged me $180 dollars. While I was in the office with the owner, the mechanic brought in a Bolt(supposedly from my Honda) and presented to the owner. The owner told me the transmission is burnt and he can rebuilt it for $1200 dollars (My car had no issues, I just want fluid change). I told them to just change my fluids and let me on my way. I need to get home to Kansas. He guaranteed me the car will not make it, even to Dallas. Then the Owner said "sorry he had to leave to go home, cause it was New years Eve", but his mechanic will take care of the fluids. So I went outside to watch the Mechanic. He wasn't doing anything but pretending to walk around my car and put blue paint marks on my bolts as if he has open and torqued them. He then came up to me and asked me to wait in the office, "We cannot allow customers in the garage." I went in the office and peeked out the window, he was talking to other mechanics the whole time( 15 minutes). I figure he was waiting for tools or something. Just as I was about to sit down, he walked in and told me he was done and to pay. To make a long story short, I drove back to Kansas the next day (the car made it without issue). Something just didn't seem right about the owner and the mechanic. The next day I decided to check the fluids and they looked as dirty as they were before I brought it to this place. Two days later I decided to bring the car in to my Honda dealership for the Transmission and Differential change told them I like to see the fluids they took from my car. I was able to watch the Honda mechanic drain my transmission and differential fluids, then called me out to the shop to verify. The fluids were never changed at all!!!. Honda dealership also tested my transmission and said my transmission had no issues at all.I can and will be able to identify the crooked owner and mechanic from any mugshot.When I visit Sugar land again, I will go out of my way to take their pictures and post on here also.Be warned!! I will be reporting these guys to the Better Business Bureau.Owner responded to my post, with an excuse that is also a lie. Why would I do a half change on transmission fluid for $180 dollars? , when I will be driving from Houston to Kansas. Crazy excuse for a lie!!!

DON'T TRUST ANY OTHER SHOP!Highway 6 Transmission Center SAVED my 2013 Ford Transit!I took it to AutoNation in Katy and they tried to charge me $7000 to repair the truck I just spent $8000 on less then 6 months ago. Needless to say I sought a second opinion.Adam was completely upfront and honest through the entire process from the diagnostic to the end of the repair. As for pricing, he saved me $4500!!!He had it back on the road in 24 hours which extremely helped since I run a small HVAC business and needed to get back into the field. I've put 300 miles on my new transmission since I drove off his lot and I've never felt more safe knowing I have a stand up mechanic.

Awesome service from these guys. Highly recommend for transmission work. Adam has great customer service and they got my truck working in one day. Replaced the whole transmission unit and fixed the rear main seal. Very satisfied

I went to this place to get my BMW transmission fixed and i had a great experience. The owner, Adam was very knowledgeable and friendly. The price was affordable and they did a great job. I higly recommend Hwy 6 transmission.

Adam and his team at Highway 6 Transmission are the best! Took my wife 2006 Toyota van to them to fix the transmission and not only that the job was done perfectly, but very affordable and before scheduled time. You guys won a customer for life.

They yes you to death. They lie. And it has been months since I first had my truck towed in and it's still not ready. Avoid these guys at all costs and the warranty sucks. Had my truck towed back in after a rebuilt tranny. Only made it 700 miles and had to pay for the tow my self after spending $3,400

I love this place every time there's a issue with my car they always fix it right the first time and get the job done within the same day or 1-2 days depend on issue on the car been going here about a year and Adam is very helpful.
