I got a couple of tires here. They were very helpful and competitive prices. Plus they have a knowledgeable staff that I trust more than other places.Update: I went back there to get the front tires installed. Now my truck looks really good.

The staff at First Tire are always warm and welcoming. They're helpful too. They explain anything you need without making you feel stupid. My dad is up there in age and they're always patient with him too which I especially appreciate. Haven't had issues with their work either. Prices are pretty typical I think.

Eliseo was really helpful! I had a flat tire and was able to come in right before closing. He helped replace the flat tire himself when everyone else was occupies. I was in and out of the place with 30 mins.

These people were absolutely fantastic! There were several people that help me will start with Mike the next person was Daniel. Daniel actually took me home and pick me up when the vehicle was ready. His personality is definitely a joy to be around. They did all they said they were going to do and everything is perfect for me and my vehicle. I was expecting issues with my alignment because when I've gone to other places I've had issues. My alignment was perfect and most importantly my steering wheel was aligned correctly. I took off to San Antonio had no issues and I was actually expecting something to happen.. because there are other people like Firestone that I've gone to and have not had great results with. I definitely recommend first tire and automotive! Mike and Daniel need to be cloned so we can have more employees in the world like these individualsVery satisfied customer once again

I'm glad I found this shop while searching for new tires. I not only got them at a good price, the service was so fast it was like I drove into a Nascar pit stop. Thanks again for such a wonderful job!

The people at First Tire and Automotive are good people. They treat you like family they tell what needs to happen to keep your car running and charge a fair price. They explain everything in detail with pictures. They are good people take your car to them.

I normally perform all of my own vehicle maintenance repairs myself. However, when I determined I had a blown wheel cylinder I decided it was time to let someone else repair it for me. My first thought was First Tire on Eldridge- nearby my home. I limped my truck up there and turned over the keys to them. The next day they kept me fully informed of what they found, what was needed, and the timeline for the repair. I received a phone call the next morning, Saturday, informing me that my truck was ready.I picked it up with a full explanation of what was done and a pleasant discussion about how nice my 99 Chevy pickup looks and is maintained.Overall I am very satisfied with my experience with First Tire and Automotive on Eldridge Rd.

Been going here for awhile now, and they have fair prices while also exercising care for your vehicle professionally. They re honest and aren t forcing you to pay for services that you may not need, at least not without a reasonable explanation as to why. The mechanics also respect your property and they re not trashing it or haphazardly mistreating it in any way. Keep it up yall!

I dropped by without an appt on Monday morning at 8 and was happy to have such great service for my Tesla car inspection. Everyone was nice and I was in and out in about 30 minutes. I highly recommend First Tire & Automotive!

Great place. Really sets a new bar for customer service. I became a loyal customer after my first visit. I never feel like they're upselling unnecessarily nor doing the bare minimum. I always feel informed about what's going on with my car and what needs attention and I don't feel pressured into making a decision that I'm not expecting. The fact that they offer to drop you off somewhere (within reasonable distance) or pick you up while your car is being serviced is just icing on the cake.

I got bullied into spending almost $1200 to have my tires replaced. I stated for approximately 20 minutes I wanted to go somewhere else and have them replaced for $400 cheaper. Instead of just giving me back my keys, the manager then takes over and begins arguing with me about why I need to just get my tires replaced there. I m a woman, and I had two grown men going back and forth with me while holding my car hostage, about why I needed to have the work done there. It was a really awful experience and I ve never gone anywhere in the country and been pressured in such a way to have work done to my car. The next day, my tires are squeeking and making very loud noises.. which was not happening prior to me bringing my car in. I wish I would ve taken my car to discount tires like I wanted to. I was over charged for every aspect of this and I m still going to have to take my car somewhere else to have it looked at. I m also missing a cap to my tire which is ridiculous after spending so much money. I would NOT recommend this place. I m so sorry I came here.

I took my car in for an alignment after replacing some suspension parts myself in hopes that they would check it over because (I m not perfect) and would align the car. They didn t do any of that, instead they told me that It needed further inspection because my car was still pulling to the right I asked how much that would be all together and the manager said 170 and did not specify it being and additional 170 even though I asked specifically what the total price would be for everything. I get to the Eldridge location to pick up my car and after hearing the bill being 330 instead of 170 I had told the guy at the front desk that that s not the price I was told nor was that what I had agreed to over the phone. Now to their credit they took off the extra charge because of the miss understanding and that I would not have agreed to something that I wouldn t have been able to pay for. I then come to find out that my car still is out of alignment and on top of that then find out that they had voided my warranty without telling me or letting me know at all in advance or while picking up the car, I had only found out after getting home and reading the invoice and had only found out how bad the alignment was on the way home. For reference my car did not pull to the right or left before hand at all it was just the steering wheel that was off. And on top of that they tried to convince me that my steering rack needs to be replaced (it s barely a year old) and that the control arms that I had just installed 2 days prior where already bad and needed to be replaced. After further inspection done by a family member who is a retired mechanic and myself none of these items or recommendations where anywhere close to being true and on top of that my radiator is now leaking from the bottom right corner, (it wasn t doing that 2 days ago when I was working on the car) so in short I paid $161.84 to have my car thrown further out of alignment, develop a radiator leak, and have the over all functionality of my vehicle worsen within a record time of less than 24 hrs.

I have been a loyal customer since they opened in 1997. They track my maintenance schedule for me, so I don t have to worry about what is due. They are completely honest. Use them!

Great team at Eldridge location -comfortable waiting area, fair and fast service. Lawrence and David were exceptionally thorough with me during my visit. I haven't been back for half a year and I regret it now.My go to place used to be the Firestone a few stores down but they were so busy they decided they didn't want to look up to see if I needed something (stood there for 5 minutes).They took the time to document and photograph what needed to be addressed and what wasn't urgent. Now I can confidently get things repaired as necessary instead of being told something and not understanding why.Thanks again, will definitely be back!Services: Tires, Oil change

I recently had the pleasure of working with a mechanic shop that truly went above and beyond to help me with my car. From the moment I dropped it off early in the morning, I knew I was in good hands. The staff was friendly, professional, and took the time to explain everything that they would be doing during the inspection.Not only did they find the root of the problem with my car, but they also conducted a visual inspection to ensure that there were no other issues that needed to be addressed. Once the inspection was complete, they sent me a text with a detailed report of the maintenance that my car needed, including how urgent each repair was and an estimated cost for the repairs.One of the things that impressed me the most was the inclusion of videos in the report. These videos were incredibly helpful in helping me understand what was happening with my car and why the repairs were necessary. It was clear that the shop valued transparency and communication with their customers, which I really appreciated.Overall, I would highly recommend this mechanic shop to anyone looking for reliable, professional, and trustworthy service. They went above and beyond to ensure that my car was in the best condition possible, and the addition of the video report made the whole process much easier to understand. I will definitely be returning to this shop in the future for all of my car maintenance needs.

Went in for a simple oil change and car inspection. Scheduled an appointment days in advance and received a confirmation text. When I arrived they were unable to locate my appointment but were able to get me in. The entire process took over an 1 hour and 15 minutes. At the end they tried to convince me that my alignment was off, my tires were in need of replacement because of uneven tread wearing, I was in need of a tire rotation, engine filter change, and a slew of other things (mind you my car is only 2.5 years old). I declined and ended up having to go to the dealership the next day and upon inspection they did not mention any of those things needing to be done. I would absolutely not recommend going here. They are trying to upsell you and are completely dishonest.Service: Oil change

David and team provided the best customer service for extremely reasonable prices (less than I pay for similar services inmy home town) I'm from out of town and they treated me like family even though I may never be there in Sugarland again.
